Most cash players are already playing the max tables that they can comfortably handle so adding a satellite just diverts attention and cuts into EV so it's not worth it. Sure you won a ticket this time, so congrats, but $20 satellites aren't worth it for cash game regs who play enough volume to accrue 1 million+ VIP pts.

Straight VIP buyins to the big Sunday tourneys are more exciting b/c at least you could late reg and hope to double up once or twice and be in the money or bust and go back to your cash games without too much of a time sink.

That's why cash game regs prefer straight cash or bonuses, with buyins to high buyin tournies being an ok alternative, but satties are basically useless. Unfortunately it sounds like BOL is completely uninterested in honoring the points that players rightfully earned before rewards were slashed nor are they interested in implementing a reasonable program now.

Speaking of bad beat...the big one was just hit...someone just paid off a bunch of bills haha.

After making an account I promptly received a phone call with someone pushing me to make a deposit with my credit card. Is this typically part of the process with these sites now?

Just wanted to provide an update that there is STILL no response whatsoever from Betonline. Not a single email. All BetonlineMike could tell me was that there's nothing he can do and that I need to wait, which is what everyone has said really. So at what point would you chalk it up to pure and outright theft? Its been over 3 weeks now coming up on the 1 month mark.

If the tone of your communication with BetOnline is similar to your posts here it is not surprising you are not getting a response from them. I doubt any amount of your business is going to be worth it to them. Customers with this attitude in general do not contribute to a positive ecosystem in the long term for a company.

This is so outrageous, I cannot believe you keep getting away with this. Late reg is still open and we are two from the money. I understand you are greedy for re-entries and fast structures but this is so blatantly stealing money from everyone left in the tournament that it is just outrageous. No other site comes close to closing LR this close to the money. Fix your structures and your late regs, you are screwing over every single player who played this tournament from the start.

I mean look how many people had alarms set and jumped in last second? I obviously don't blame them as it is very clearly the most +ev thing to do but if that is such a clear testament to how broken these tournaments are.

I know this is for $55 but the $5 ones are even worse...late registration is open for I think 3 1/2 hours...good lord.

i just redeposited onto chico, now im pulling out ,, too many fkn bots,, like vitoTNT, abidas, i mean these are freaking bots, its very obvious, they are stupid to keep them, people dont like playing with bots, they like REAL PLAYERS, chico is so stupid, there tournies SUCK NOW too they dont even have a 20k daily anymore, its more expensive and lower payout

The fact that you noticed they were bots right away is outright sad (not that you knew it) but sad that BetOnline does not get rid of them.

That's not true. I've entered or been in MTTs on heavy traffic sites and they go into the money while late reg is still open or able to late reg at/in the money. I late reg'd into the big GTD on Merge at the last minute with loads of players under me and only a handful left until bubble pops.

WPN had a serious issue with it that I brought up and thet changed their seating script. Late regs used to open a new table with all new players. They'd just time down and/or out to get ITM.

Recently many "bot" accounts have been closed, and Betonline is always working hard to rid all accounts from the client using prohibited software.

I don't trust Betonline poker whatsoever. Let me begin by saying that I'm an avid sports fan and I've used their sports betting platform plenty of times. I've successfully cashed out in the past using moneygram, and more recently bitcoin. I've never had any issues regarding payouts. With that being said, I know for a fact that their poker and sportsbook are run completely independently from each other. I was playing one of their turbo (5 min levels) sit n go's, maybe a year ago. It was on a sunday and they were hosting some big tournament with a ton of entrants. I guess this slowed down the server, causing my sit n go table to deal one hand per blind level. Keep in mind that although it was a turbo 6 player sit n go, blind levels were 5 minutes. Players were literally dealt one hand per blind level. After about 20 minutes or so, the game resumed back to normal. I played it out assuming that one of the 2 outcomes would occur:

1. The sit n go is canceled and all players are refunded their original buy in.
2. The sit n go is allowed to stand and the winners keep their prize, but losers are refunded their original buy in.

I placed 3rd or 4th place out of 6, which was out of the money. I contacted betonline chat support and they had no idea what I was talking about. I provided hand history and pleaded with them to see that only one had was dealt per blind level for the first 4 or so levels but they weren't having it. I told them to check the time stamps of all the action that took place. I posted about this awhile back on 2+2 and someone from betonline did ask me to DM them but at that point I had no interest in doing any kind of business with betonline.

The messed up part was the fact that betonline customer service reps had no idea that the poker server had been lagging due to the big tournament that they were hosting. They were pretty much accusing me of lying about the whole situation. For the record, the betonline rep on 2+2 did acknowledge that there had been a server lag that day because of the large tourney. Its just weird that the customer service reps on the chat had no idea about this. For the record i reached out to customer service chat reps two days in a row regarding this matter. You'd think that betonline would send out some sort of company memo to their customer service reps regarding the system lag...

in conclusion, betonline is one shady site that you should stay away from.
