I recently started playing on ignition and faced similar issues with the connectivity.

I don't share the problem with the client randomly closing though. That would be extra frustrating.

I once lost connection to a tourney, but I was able to use the BetOnline mobile app to continue playing without any problems. A mobile phone is not a good substitute for playing multiple tables though.

A $16.50 buyin that you can fire multiple bullets probably is good enough for most only problem already have 400k pts stacked up.

That really does a lot of good for those of us that are not able to play in the Sunday tournaments.

registered for a $7 Turbo PKO 6's... sat at 2/6 registered for about 35 minutes... as soon as the 3rd person registered, it IMMEDIATELY filled up... seating scripts HAD to have been used IMO

Today, 169 entries to the 75k satellite at $15 per equals 2535 divided by $109 equals 23.25. They are only giving out 13 seats. What am I missing?

I'm not sure what makes you think that they don't have the revenue. Traffic has only increased over the past year. They regularly have lots of 1kNL tables running where they make a lot of rake. They increased the guarantee on their normal weekly Main Event up to 75k. They brought back their once a month 100k guarantee Main Event. Mike's recent post in this thread also indicates that they've upped their promotional budget.

Chico doesn't offer a way to download your hand history from their client. You can only view it in the client itself.

I'm getting a "network error" message when trying to open the BOL client. Internet generally is fine, including BOL webpage. Anyone else having issues?

Also is the "Is it Down" thread gone or am i just blind?

Edit: Via twitter, it appears that other users are having issues as well.

IT is looking into this and I will update you guys as soon as I hear anything.

Why was the 33 that starts at 12 EST just cancelled? Just because it was going to overlay?

We would like to offer a quick apology to anyone who was inconvenienced by the recent lapse in our connectivity services. One of our service providers suffered a rare loss of connection at 11:30am ET and it unfortunately affected some of our tournament players.

While out of our hands, we wanted to ensure that all players were properly compensated and honored for their understanding of this hiccup.

· We will be issuing a refund of the buy-in in Tournament Money (TM) to all players that were active in a tournament after 11:30am ET.

· In addition, if a player was in the money (ITM) during this period, a percentage of the remaining prize pool will be awarded in the account as cash. If the tournament completed prior to us restoring connection, the remaining players will still be honoured their cash winnings from such tournament.

· All affected Sit & Go players that didn’t finish in the money (ITM) will also receive a refund of their tournament buy-in.

· Lastly, all players that registered in a tournament between 7:30am ET and 1:00pm ET will be granted free entry into a Player Appreciation Freeroll with a $10,000 GTD prize pool this Sunday at 1:00pm ET. All tickets have now been issued.

I think its use is mainly meant for sites/networks without a sponsored forum, but I could be wrong. I think the Live Update thread in this forum is probably a good place to post questions should any network-wide connection issues arise in the future.

Just got back from playing on Ignition. Anyone who has problems with BetOnline should play there for one day to see how terrible it is. You'll come crawling back. It is quite awful.

I've been banging that drum for years, my friend. I think it was the start of 2017 when they made their desktop client the same as their mobile client. They've made changes since and sometimes the software runs smooth over there for a little while, but it's never been quite the same. It's the main reason I started playing here much more instead. People still experience recurring issues that have been popping up since that change, as well as some newer bugs. Once in a while I'll play a few sessions over there and I'll eventually run into the inevitable software issues and remember why I stopped. I certainly don't envy the players who have stayed faithful to that network over the years.

The software + anon tables sucks terribly. Agreed. BOL is way ahead of Ignition and has been for ages now.
