So I've been playing on BOL again lately and got a "Prohibited Software" email from their security team. It contained this line:
Quote:
We have detected that you are currently making use of a prohibited software along with your Poker System. Would you kindly remove the software before your account would become available? We would unfortunately have to lock your account permanently in the future should the software remain detectable and funds could be seized.
I haven't used any poker software at all while playing on this site, let alone anything prohibited.
A big part of what worries me is that other posters have shown similar email snippets where they were told WHAT the prohibited software they were supposedly running was, while I just got this vague, general warning.
I'm a lifetime loser online, and on BOL overall, but I have been having a winning run in the last few weeks, and that is the only reason I can think of why I might be suspected of cheating. If anyone was to review my hand histories, it would be super clear that I'm not botting, as my play ranges from solid at times to tilted spewy fish at others. So far I've never even tried to cash out.
Any thoughts from anyone on things I could check for that would falsely cause BOL to "detect" that I am using prohibited software would be appreciated. The way this communication has gone so far is making me worry that they are setting up an excuse to deny a cashout attempt.
