I think you guys have chosen an excellent time to open this forum as the other networks that cater to the US market each have tons of drawbacks at the moment. Your network has a few issues of its own I'd like to see addressed, but I still enjoy playing here more than at any of the other options. I'm hopeful that we can work together as a community to improve the games and to make this one of the best places for online pokers to come play at!

Hi Mike,

Recently I attempted to cashout of my account and I recieved an email saying that my cashout was declined because it appears that my IP is the same as a user who an adverse action was taken against. This user's name is: Luisimi_Fan.

However, I have no idea who this user is and I am the only user at my house and the only account so I do not understand how this is possible. Ive sent a reply to the email and spoke with chat and its been 48hrs and I have not heard anything back yet. Do you think you can help? Thanks!

Hi Mike, I think I feel the same way as MCA does. I have the best overall user experience when playing on BOL compared to any of the other sites available to me. The software is top notch in my opinion, and I have noticed consistent improvements made in the interest of players.

I think the big topic that is sure to come up the issue of bots.

This is definitely not the only site dealing with it. Actually, there are no sites that are completely bot free as far as I can tell. What I think all the players here would be interested in is an official statement from BOL. What is the site's stance on the topic? Is it complete indifference? Something that is actively being targeted? Somewhere in between?

Instead of starting off the new 'era' of having a BOL sub forum with a negative tone, I think it's fair to give you or someone else from BetOnline the chance to address it. It's in everyone's interest to keep the relationship between the players and the reps here on 2+2 positive!

I just wanted to get the correct information for you regarding this.
Our stance is that the use of Bots on the site is prohibited, therefore all accounts that are found to be using this type of software will be banned. And what we do to combat it, well we have a Fraud and Security department that reviews account with certain behaviors that may suggest the use of this software. In addition if you or any other player sees any suspicious activity from an account I personally will gladly take the player's nickname and forward it to our Security Department for review.

Please send nicknames privately so as to use anonimity

-what 3rd party software is/isn’t allowed?

-is table camping allowed? I read TOS and it seems to be prohibited yet when I played here it was occurring everyday.

-can you give some clarity on the rules for buttoning? I’ve seen many people only play a HU hand when a game is breaking if they are the button and sitout otherwise.

Hi The Apex, so I just received this message regarding your queries:

I tested the waiting list bug on a couple tables and could not replicate the error, no blind was posted for me when the “Wait for Big/Over Blind” was pre-selected from the options menu
this should clear up your hu issue.

So on your other queries I am just waiting for a response and once I know you will be the first to hear about it.

I actually asked about that in the software improvement thread. I'm surprised you couldn't replicate it, it happens a lot. I know this happens to other people too.

So the “Wait for Big/Over Blind” option, should stop you posting both. You can see this option in the table settings.
There is a known bug that is currently being looked into regarding a similar issue, so hopefully it will get checked now I have told the right department.

We are always looking into and encouraging our players to report players/potential bots, multi account users/software that is banned or anything that goes against our rules and the ethics of poker.

Buttoning is also known as Grimming and that is mentioned in the rules section. I would warn them once and report the repeat offenders.

Table camping is less clear in the rules. Table blocking could be applied the way it's written in the rules. Personally I don't have much issue with campers. Full table blocking and the seat scripters should be reported. I'd like to see anybody doing either of those to get suspended.
