Hey Mike, I hope you can help with some questions about BetOnline.

I want to start playing at BetOnline but I want to get the rules straight about 3rd party software. I read on the website that trackers such as HM3 or PT4 are allowed. But then I asked about this on the Live Chat and despite 2 agents told me that trackers are permitted, a third one replied that they do not accept any kind of third party software and that they would ban any player who uses one. So in the end, which one is it?

In the first place I went to the Live Chat to ask about Hand Converters because neither HM3 nor PT4 will work on BetOnline without the use of a Hand Converter. The problem being that on the website Hand Converters appear as prohibited software. So I ask them to tell me which hand converter can I use in order to get a tracker to work, and so this discussion began in which no agent seemed really sure of the answer and the last one that I spoke with ultimately told me that all 3rd party software was forbidden.

I need to know for certain what the rules are in this regard. Can I use PT4? Can I use the Hand Converter recommended on the PT4 and HM3 forums (Advanced Chico Converter)? Or should I use another one?

Grunching, but has there been a resolution to the player points BetOnline stole from its customers? Been a long time since I've played on this site.

Almost every player on the site is using a converter and/or HM or PT
There hasnt been a single case of a player being banned for it
However I don't think you will ever get a straight answer

I know the chico people and can assure you they would want to know about any collusion. Get screenshots and post them, they will see them. FWIW, no one else has had these claims and I know a fair amount of regs here. I've seen trash talk on cash tables but action and runouts did not confirm. It is probably around 99.9999% chance of being just nonsense. Head of Game Integrity is no slouch, at all

What are these GB prizes for the cash game leaderboards? I won some and then they disappeared from my account, are they used to buy in to cash games automatically or something?

GB = Game Bonus.

I believe it's just bonus money that needs to be wagered on the cash tables within 14 days. That's what the cash race leaderboard Overview section in the My Mission tab of the client says.

It's probably something like a 1x rollover requirement before it's released into your withdrawable funds, but it would be nice to get some clarification on that somewhere, either in the Overview section or in the T&C of the Promotions page for the rake race contest on the website.

How do the 25nl reg tables here compare to 20nl on Global?

I stopped playing for a while, but I know chico had a horrible bot problem maybe a year or so ago?. They surprisingly fixed it at one point. Is that still the case? Are bots still being banned? Thinking of playing more lately, but I don't want to sit at a table with 3 or 4 bots.

As many people here know I used to actively track the bots on this network and provide other players with information about them. I can confidently say that there's been massive improvements in that area over the last year. The most common cash game botring profile has been pretty much eradicated from their cash game tables. I used to be able to identify multiple bots at most NLHE cash game tables at almost anytime throughout a day. That hasn't been the case for about a year now. That's not to say a suspicious account might not pop up from time to time, as it's a possibility at any poker site, but their current security team does a much better job with improving game integrity issues on the network than what was taking place at their tables prior to this past year. There has also been some compensation given to affected players over the past year when accounts who were violating the rules were identified and had their funds seized.

Hello! My name is Alex. I am playing plo8 (cash and mtt) for a long time. In this year I started play it can at chico usually plo 50-100. I found few very strange opponents. I played with them at the same table about 10k hands.
1. I never seen how they call river and muck.
2. I never seen they in all-ins took less then half.
3. They have a great sense at flop and turn with nice hand, they checked it for river giving a chance to opponents make 1st nuts low and 2nd high and winning 3/4 of a big pot.

I play a lot of 500 & 1k am pretty confident that the games are bot and RTA free

I hadnt played at BOL in a good couple months and i just logged on today and the only tables I can find are max buy-in tables. Like 100BB minimum. And there seems to be significantly less tables running than before.

I cleared my filters and I still see the same. Do I have some filter on still or something or did they really change all tables to 100BB buy-ins only?

I am playing on chico PLO 1k cash games 2 years now. I am from republic of Georgia. on chico on similar limits also plays several georgian players too. me and one of georgian player are restricted to play on similar tables. when i asked to chico security team about that , they told me that our accounts are linked by IP ADRESS and thats why they restricted us. but this must be a mistake. I am independent person! Playing from my own house, from my own computer, from my own modem and nothing conects me to that person besides the fact that we are from the same country and same city “kutaisi” . Furthermore, i am currently living in another city with my wife, in Tbilisi. I don't know why and who decided to link our accounts because i have totally independent setup and i am not conected to any of those devices they mantioned above. I have done my adress verification and can resend any document needed to prove that I live independently and have my own life with my wife and family. That person is not my family member. He is totaly independent person. he will send documents too if needed. Pls help me to remove this conection programmly and allow me to play against him on the tables.
Allow me to play on sports betting normally. sports betting security team can check history and they will see that there was never been same ip adress to our accounts.
I didnt breake any rule of chico. If so, I am afraid our accounts would have been frozen and our money confiscated. This player is grinding a lot and I am siting in front of computer and waiting him to finish play to sit on the table. I want to play on your site, I never broke any law of your site and am note going to do in the future too. Please allow me to play normally as other players do.I am restricted to play maximum 2 tables and I know this is normal and several players are restricted like this too, because of there results. But to be restricted to sit on the table when one of other players playing is impossible to me to understand.

Players are stuck at the tables.
Logging out doesn't allow you to leave the frozen table.
Would advise against playing at the moment.
