So it is not directed to a player but to a sub-afilliate(me).

My account is suspended, i cannot log and i cannot play. It will be unlocked so i can record, having one week to make a movie.
I dont have problems with making movies playing, i have done that as a coach a lot of times before. I just feel that this is made to make players unconfortable and more likely to leave the site.

We are talking about a network that made things like banning winning players in the past. If this was on another website i wouldn´t even bother.

I didn´t mean to misslead anyone. I said "chico email to afilliates" and should have said "chico position to afilliates". If you want to focus on this its ok to me. Thats not the point at all.

I received an email Thursday morning stating that my account was temporarily locked pending a routine security review, and that "We have reason to believe that you may have been using automated software to play on your behalf or assist with your decision making." This is absurd; the only software I've used while playing is the official BetOnline poker odds calculator.

After talking to someone in live chat for a while, I found out that my account was locked because they found that I had PioSolver and PioViewer (which I've never heard of) downloaded. While I did at one time have it downloaded, I never used it while playing. In fact, I only opened it once, had no idea how to use it, and promptly deleted it on what I think was the very same day I had downloaded it. I guess they happened to be running their security scan the same day that I had downloaded PioSolver. I was never able to figure out how to use it, and even if I had, I would've never used it while playing, as I am not a cheater. I just wanted to use it as a study tool to try and improve my game.

I told the woman that I was chatting with exactly this, and she said that your account could be locked if they found "any trace" of PioSolver on your computer or associated with your account. I said that I thought it was only against the rules to use such programs while playing, not just having them on your computer, and she agreed that this was true, which directly contradicted her previous statement. I sent a lengthy email to BetOnline game integrity telling them that I have never cheated and asking them for clarification on the rules, as well as asking them how they knew that I had PioSolver downloaded in the first place, since I never even opened it while running any poker client and hadn't had it downloaded when my account was locked. I have yet to hear back from them.

I have a couple of questions and concerns about this. Is it really against the rules just to have PioSolver or similar solvers downloaded on your computer? And how did they know I had it downloaded in the first place, since I know for a fact that I never had it open while on any poker client? This raises some ethical concerns in my mind unless there is a reasonable explanation for this.

As I wrote in my email to BetOnline game integrity, if it is truly against the rules to have PioSolver or other comparable software downloaded I will never download it again. However, in looking at the rules, it seems to me that it is only a violation to use this software while playing, not outside of the poker rooms. Here are a few sections of the rules that I pointed out to them: Under "Third Party Software", it says "...certain tools used during game-play (my emphasis) go beyond what we deem acceptable." The section that prohibits "tools or services that compute advanced equity calculations, such as range vs. range simulators, ICM or Nash Equilibrium-based programs" is under the heading "Prohibited while playing", and finally the specific portion of the rules that they accuse me of violating in their original email, Section II of the Prohibited Categories section, prohibits "Real Time Solvers, Bots, Assistance Software, Charts that either automate gameplay or provide recommendations on which gameplay actions to take". Am I misinterpreting these rules? Was my account justly locked and if so, what are the chances that my account is going to be closed and my money seized? I genuinely had no bad intentions here, and have never, nor would I ever, cheat.

You have to check if the program is running in the background. In my past experience with Pio, even if you close it out some PIO programs may still be running.

As I wrote in my post, I deleted the program soon after downloaded it because I didn't know how to use it and don't have much space on my computer to begin with. I doubt I played any hands on BetOnline while I had it downloaded.

Hi , anyone knows anything about what is happening with cashgames in nl1k + ? there is no tables running since the site added nl2k and nl5k tables . All the traffic from nl1k is in nl500 right now .

Only some regs have access to those tables at the moment for some reason. Everybody else who doesn't have access, but wants to sit at those tables, should contact support and ask for access. Hopefully the necessity to request access will be reversed soon. I have no idea why restrictions were implemented.

Any details on the new 'action' tables? It says there is some kind of VPIP restriction to be able to sit but haven't seen any explanation, also haven't ever seen someone sitting

Only longterm winning players are allowed to win of them
I had a few recreational players tell me at 500 that they are blocked from 1k and that the support claims its a mistake, one also said that he is going to leave the site soon
No idea the thought behind it, I guess they wanted recreational players to bleed slower at 500 and still kept 1k+ as a rake trap for winning players

Would be really nice to hear a statement though, given its been more than 5 days since the lobby got changed substantially and there are no patchnotes anywhere (or maybe I missed them)

If you were still using a seating script then it's possible that was the reason for blocking you since seating script use is not allowed.

Would obviously be nice if they would respond and clarify promptly, but I'd suggest reading the rules prior to playing on a site and then following those rules in the future to avoid the possibility of having your account blocked and having to wait for a response.

Now the 5/10 NL tables are gone and got replaced with CAP tables, which are impossible to beat due to the high rake and are just a raketrap...

We don't even know the exact reason for your account being blocked yet unless you care to share the communication that they've sent you regarding this situation.


Apparently you need some kind of minimum VPIP to sit at these new Action tables, but whatever the requirement is to sit at them hasn't been communicated yet.

I can't see them getting much traffic if the VPIP attributed to each account is being taken from other regular tables. Obviously regs aren't going to play the same amount of hands on regular tables as they would on tables that require you to play more hands to sit down. The only tables that should qualify towards the minimum VPIP are these specific tables and it should reset after a certain amount of time, like a day or week or something.

Let's say the minimum VPIP to sit is 35% and after 100 hands you're under that only on these specific tables then you should be booted from these tables and denied access to them until it resets.

It should also be stake specific so that regs don't try to game the system increasing their VPIP at these tables at much lower stakes.


I know I've already made you aware, but for anybody else curious, the regular 1kNL BBJ tables have been returned unrestricted for all players.

Hey Mike, can you give us more infos about the new 10/20 and 25/50 table that got added 2 weeks ago? Why can only a certain amount of players (winning players) play on those? And why is there such restriction?
If it stays like this there is no point of having them, since they are going to be dead

I think I got a ~1k refund, anyone know if they redistribute winnings from banned players?
