There's certainly valid reasons to avoid cash games if they're not your preference, but I highly doubt that cash games are any easier to cheat at "these days" as opposed to previous points in history.

Advancements in technology and a more widespread understanding of proper strategy making them more difficult to win at than they have been in the past would be a more valid reason.

I actually believe that Chico Network security has done a pretty good job of improving the integrity of the cash games in recent months compared to the bot infested tables of years prior.

Does anyone know if BOL hires prop players? There is a player i have seen starting games and then quickly leaving once they fill. he will open sit and sit out until 2-3 others sit in and then just leave. This doesn't make sense to me. If they wanted to play shorthanded why would he sit out?

Can @BOLmike give us a definitive answer on this? Does chico, BOL hire house players or prop players to start games?

After looking into the player in question I've found that they have played at least 100k hands on the network. Without knowing the player better my assumption would be that they just game select very hard and don't stick around if the table doesn't provide favorable conditions for them when it fills. The majority of players like this don't open sit tables, but I have come across some that do, especially as Chico has become more strict against seating script use.

Some of the PLO cash game grinders I swear never log off. I'm losing hope to ever win the 4k or 5k leaderboards. Some guy already has raked $1130 on the 5k board, and $617 on the 4k, two days in.

The poker promo page seems to imply the cash game rake races are ongoing, but in my contests tab it only shows 4 KOTR things and nothing else. Is it still going or no? Maybe certain accounts are restricted.

op, if you're innocent then this sucks, but it sure looks like you're guilty af given how dishonest you are in trying to portray the situation

you are suspected of rta/bot, this is common, do the challenge, pass it, and take it as badge of being a very good player to be able to garner such suspicion

worst case scenario you are mildly inconvenienced having to setup your film

not looking good for your case given how your are making mountains out of molehills and deeply misrepresenting the situation

I'm not sure the explanation/suggestion from your affiliate is truthful.

My guess is the affiliate is suspected of having more than one player that is violating the TOS and/or suspected of colluding or botting. There are some large affiliates that have less than a stellar reputation in that regard. You might be connected to one of them.

The request to record a session is not all that unusual. The new team at Chico is much much more astute than the one that was in place prior.

I've never heard of that reason, too many winning players amd I don't believe it, either.

Just do what they ask, if you are just playing straight up andhonest, you'll have zero issues with it and its just a temporary pain in the ass.
