Mike - I wish BOLs security team could do this work instead of me in my free time. I only do it a few minutes every few days and see lots of scripters. Thanks for your attention and efforts.

I asked Live Chat today about the disappearing VIP Points...i was told that the new vip i system is already in place and active. $50 in rake paid, releases $5 to poker account. I certainly have not received that. I asked if we needed to opt in, Chat said no and it is active. When i asked how we can track this, was told to look at transactions. Has anyone received this "bonus?" i will post screenshot when i get home from work

^^ (JGoldPDX's vid) Yep, that's exactly what I saw every single session, for every single day, for the year that I played. Some of the same players too!

I came back and played a little in March, it's just unbelievable that players play there still. Most every other site offers some sort of incentive for playing, I cannot see a single reason to play on BOL. Take note:

- they allowed a player who was the most blatant RTA user I've ever seen to play the entire time I played, despite being reported constantly. He finally was banned after taking hundreds of thousands of dollars off the site, he was easily the biggest winner at 500, 1k, and 2k. No player was compensated a single cent.

- as everyone knows, they completely thieved our VPP points, after some of us showed a ton of loyalty by grinding countless hours with no reward system (except the VIP points that were then thieved). I believe I had - have - ~10 million when they decided they would not offer anything in exchange for our points besides some (almost completely worthless) small buyin tournament tickets.

- they allow scripting to the most ridiculous degree I have seen on any site, as anyone can see (like JGoldPDX is showing) it is so laughably obvious that all these guys are scripting, I feel real sympathy for the players who don't script when I see that video as obviously nothing has changed. As a 500/1k regular you are at a clear disadvantage right away, because you have to battle the very best players just in order to be sitting in the game if you're lucky enough to be there when one of the very few fish left in the pool sit. Meanwhile, you get to watch as every single time you AREN'T battling, once a fish sits, the table immediately fills with a bunch of regs you COULD have made money off of, except they won't battle because they don't have to as scripting is allowed by the site.

- there is no official rakeback and their rake at 5/T is literally THREE TIMES HIGHER at 5/10 than it is on comparable sites available to US players

- there is a high number of Russian/Eastern European regulars, these countries are obviously the countries that have the highest rates of cheating/collusion, and of course they flock to Chico because of the aformentioned lax security policies. Ask yourself this, guys. Do you think that these guys so willing to bend the rules to give themselves an edge ALSO wouldn't share cards when beneficial to also increase their edge? Do you think they don't share reads on you?

I have a really wide network of friends who play 500nl+ now and out of 50 of them, only one still plays on Chico regularly still.

Mike may come in here and make you guys feel better by dropping antidotes pretending as if they really care about their consumers, and say that he is doing all he can, but he is straight up lying to you. While they do the absolute bare minimum and do remove bots regularly, they do not care about you as players. He says that he himself is a player, this CANNOT be true as any player with a fiber of moral integrity would and could not work for a company that cares so little about the players.

It is easily the worst option available to online poker players and I really don't understand why so many of you still beat your heads against the wall hoping the site will improve. Of all the poker sites it is THE #1 that cares the least about game integrity and your interests as a player. I hope that you all realize this.

Very happy to see BetOnline and the Chico Network doing a lot of good stuff lately!

• Compensation for losing to money to cheaters.
• Addressing and substantially improving the bot situation.
• Paying the Bad Beat Jackpot out of their own pockets and leaving the current jackpot in place when a player experienced a frozen client during the hand.

There's still some things that could be improved, but I'm very happy to see the recent progress!

It's possible, perhaps even likely, but there has always been much fewer known bots playing at 500NL+. It's much more likely to encounter them, nearly impossible not to, if you put in any significant volume at the lower stakes over the last few years. There was a small influx of them at 500NL+ at the beginning of this year, but most of them haven't been seen in over 2 months.

I could send you a list of known bots that played at those stakes in the past if you send me a private message. More than likely this recent compensation is from remaining balances being split between players who played against them recently.

It's definitely possible that there will be more compensation sent out in the future, but I can't say that for certain. There were some refunds sent out at the beginning of this month and today was the 2nd time I've ever seen it. It's a very new and very welcomed development for them to send out compensation to affected players.

I've got a random security check e-mail to identify myself.
And there is a list of prohibited software at the end of that, saying that Hand converters are prohibited.
At last when I checked, they were in kind of a grey zone, they weren't banned per say, but also not favored. (I missed the action for half a year and came back recently).

Can someone clear things up for me?

They changed their lists a lot recently, I think it is not their intention to ban HH converters and it might be still a leftover for when they just copy&pasted Stars old prohibited software list
I can't clear it up, but I can say that everyone is using a converter and noone recieved any punishment for it so far

Nope, been using it till last week.
The problem is not that they removed it, the problem is that they didnt announce it anyhow before removing, at least as i can see it.
From my point of view, it should be like: Guys we r very sorry but we made final decision that we are going to remove skrill as ur deposit\cashout options, we will do it in next XX days\months, so if u dont have any other options, please find alternative or deposit\cashout before we remove it.

Why you trying to kill their action? That's not very nice. I say just jump in and find out for yourself.

I play a little bit higher, but it's always been pretty good aside from the bot problems and the bot problem has been substantially improved in recent weeks. I haven't seen most of the known bot accounts around at all when I've checked the lower stakes tables recently. I imagine those games are pretty good right now.

I have been trying to get my address verified (I have verified it 4 times before) on the Tigergaming skin for the last 5 months. I keep getting ignored and the only emails I recieve instruct me to send the documents to an e-mail that does not exist. I have provided 3 different statements / utility bills, all according to their specification.

I am getting slightly desperate at this point so I figured I will throw it out here:
