Thank you MCAChiTown.
You are a fantastic help to the growing community.

Thanks Mike. I appreciate the kind words! Hopefully we can work together to get these cheaters out of the games.

I live in Nevada and the WSOP games are so dead it's absurd, find much better action on Sportsbet/BOL. Liking the cash games so far, games get pretty reg heavy at night tho. I am weary of bots (10/25NL are my stakes) but don't have any evidence of my own just yet. If anyone knows of a blacklist so I know who to look out for it'd be much appreciated.

I would be very much against it. Having usernames is nice for being able to identify bots and other cheaters as we can put the data to the username and just pinpoint it that way. And then there's the competitive side of it.

Pros of anon tables is you start more games but I think the downsides vastly outweigh the upsides.

Would love to see more fast-fold promo to concur with earlier posts

Anonymous tables should have absolutely NO place in an atmosphere that is currently INFESTED with bots.

All this does is protect the bots and allows them to win MORE money because it takes longer for real players to discover they are bots.

If you know they are a bot you can take a few exploit adjustments but without knowing they are a bot, you will lose more money up until that discovery.

It does get very reg heavy, indeed. It doesn't help that you sometimes have 3 or 4 bots at one table. These bots have a style that is similar to 100NL or 200NL LAG regs. It's impossible for casual 25NL regs to adjust , let alone recs.

So when you say "reg heavy", many times there are more bots than regs, even if you just don't know it yet.

The offer to private message me for advice on identifying them, as I stated in the post below, is open to anybody.

We will have an update very soon about this with some good news.

Also not sure about anyone else but I feel like rake races are like year 2002 type promotions. I would imagine having a flat rakeback of 10-30% that rewards highest volume grinders and where recs and low volume casual regs can benefit in the 10-20% range. 30% could be provided to players that can achieve a pretty high volume at mid stakes. Where a high volume reg at let's say 50NL could achieve 30% rakeback.

I mean let's be honest. If I played 100,000 hands at 50NL in one month I would be paying your site about $5,000 in rake. In all honesty I should be able to get back 30% of this. You would absolutely receive more players on the site if you were competitive in this way.

You're also charging slightly more in rake than some other sites. 5.5% with $3 cap at 25NL is kind of insane.

As it is now, it seems like only 100NL+ players have any chance at achieving top 10 rankings. And I know I've been mentioning bots a lot but hey, they're on the rake race leaderboards too.

Cough *d00ble* Cough

(And at least 3 others I recognized.)

I just added $750 back onto the site to test out the 25NL games. Also pokerstars is in the process of validating my documents soooo

One positive about sportsbetting is that I have cashed out numerous times, in the $500 to $2,000 region. All 5 or 6 times it has been fast, pain free and super easy.

Yeah it does seem that way. There are a couple players who have like 500K+ hands at 10NL and while it's certainly possible for a real player to have that volume, filtering by dates gives me some pause when they barely have any breaks from playing (Shuddering thinking of playing 10NL 80 hrs to make a living or side income lol)

Just want to say Thanks for participating on the forum. A lot of responses to you have attacked you and such, but it's not personal, its a lot of frustration with the site. At the end of the day we appreciate having some sort of communication with the site, and you and your teams desire to make positive changes.

Thanks

Greatly enjoying the cash game. I have however noticed a definite bot on 10nl. This guy is playing nearly 24 7 and action timing is very suspicious. Can I pm you the name or do you want my hand histories.

yes please pm me all the stats that you have on him, and times and anything that you think might be relevant to this player breaking the rules.

I logged on today and noticed an update, so of course I thought maybe, if just for a couple days, there would be no bots at 25nl - NOPE - at two of the 6 tables running there were 5 bots! And at the other four tables there were 3 or 4!

I'm not sure how many 25nl players visit these threads, but have you noticed the new bot? It showed up a few weeks ago and boy is it a doozy of a bot - more agro with less leaks and abso crushing from the jump.

Hi jonnyreno, We have updated our security and made significant changes.
If you believe accounts are bots or not playing by our fair play rules, please send me a private message including all of the stats that you have if any.
Thank you for this update and keep letting us know.

Kind Regards

Mike

Any changes made must not have gone into effect yet. If changes actually were already implemented then it had little or no effect on the bots as I've seen several bots from the list I sent you guys at the tables in the last few hours. Hopefully I will be able to notice the changes over the next few days.

Are u guys talking about 25nl 9max or 6max? How do tell they are bots? I play 25nl 9max almost every day recently and can hardly identify any bots with high certainty, at least at the time of day I play. The thing is, the players u claim are bots could be just good LAG regs. In fact, many regs use "balanced" action timing both pre and post flop. I know someone who tank for around half of the progress bar for every action, but once or twice I saw him using the time bank in difficult spots.

+1 for rakeback. The weekly cash race is not friendly for low/mid volume players

-1 for straight rakeback.

IMO
The weekly cash race incentivizes playing more frequently and less selectively, which is good for both the regulars and for the site. I've noticed several recreational action players who play a ton of action some weeks while in the top 10 of the leaderboard and it's fairly likely the leaderboard is the reason. Also regulars who are in contention are more likely to battle HU and start games which again, is good for everyone/the ecosystem.

Flat rakeback does not encourage more action in any of these ways.

Also, flat rakeback would probably net me more direct $$ as I have never finished higher than 30th and don't even cash every week. I just think the indirect effects(more tables running more often) are likely better.

You sound exactly like p0ker_n00b when he first came across my bot allegations in the old Chico thread. LOL When you get your private messaging enabled you can send me a private message and I'll let you know exactly how to identify them.
