I know I'm repeating myself, but the longer you let him play and the more money you let him win the more incentive he will have to make another account once this one will get banned too

Would it be asked too much to at least FREEZE his account, so he cant cheat people out of more money until you have time/resources to investigate him?

We have a new system that has been implemented and that is why I resent all of the old lists that I had received from you guys to be investigated again.

I hope you and everybody else sends me private messages for these suspected accounts to be thoroughly investigated

There’s got to be better ways for a site to detect bots than rely on players to provide lists of suspected users. Can’t the site look at certain metrics..., timing in decisions, break times, time bank usage, mouse movement, stats, betsizing, chatting, captcha etc... I mean they know what programs we have installed on our computers so I figure they have access to other information.

But of course they have little to no incentive to actually stop any of the bots.

The security department do not rely on players, but it certainly helps a great amount. You guys have hours and hours of stats and info on accounts before we even know which account we are looking for.

Yes we have measures that alert us when you are using prohibited software whilst connected to our client.
People using prohibited software may be able to by pass some of these security measures and then it becomes really important for the community to help us.
Part of the reason we are always asking for information, is because it should also act as a deterrent.

Did you seriously just say that asking the community for information is a deterrent to bot users? So the information is not what is important to you, it's the simple act of asking for information.

I guess actually using that information is not in your security teams ballpark of importance. Lmfao.

stats and betsizing...myself and a couple others have already provided mountains and mountains of irrefutable data that prove bot accounts using stat comparison analysis and bet sizing analysis.

But they just prefer asking the community for information - apparently asking us for help deters bot users. We don't have to pass that information along. Bot users will just read this thread, see Mike asks us for information and the bot users will go "oh **** this guy is doing his job, I better scurry into a dark floorboard somewhere over there..."

Less bots around this week. Obviously doesn't mean anything for the long-term prospects just yet, but there has been a noticeable difference.

He took 10s of thousands of dollars off of the network on his previous account. I think it's a totally reasonable post to make.

Collectively the bot ring is obviously much worse. Individually he is much worse for the games than any one account from the bot ring.

There is still seating script use going on. There's just been less of it this week and it could definitely be for the reason you state.

We'll have to see if it goes back to the same level seating script use over the next few weeks.

Since the last update had lots of disconnections, freezing, lagging, and problems with hand histories and tournament lobbies.

So PLO 1/2 is gone again.
Took me like 10 minutes to explain to live chat that PLO H/L is not the same... And then when livechat finally understood what i ment they just responded with a "We reserve the right to remove any game at any time blabla".

Like come on, how dumb are they? If 1/2 PLO is there 1 hour and the next hour it is gone from only 1/2 and it has happened before cant the live support understand that i am trying to report an error instead of being like a robot giving me the same response over and over... holy **** that was tilting.

Well i guess i have to wait for someone else to report the 1/2 PLO is gone because i can't deal with livechat again.

Got bored on waiting so contacted live chat again and got to talk to a competent person that solved this issue with in 5min. "Please allow some time to pass and the game should be up and running again" something along those lines.

Some people in live support needs to find a new job if you ask me.

I'll try to get it back later (like I did last time) if it hasn't reappeared by then.

I check PokerScout from time to time to see how Chico Network is doing in terms of overall traffic. They've been holding in the 13th-15th place range for a couple years, but I checked recently and now they've fallen to 18th place.

Not really a surprise to anyone who's following what's going on here. They've slashed benefits for players across the board, not just cash games, but SNGs as well, and eliminated any VIP program.

Hopefully it serves as a wakeup call to Chico and they restore benefits to their Summer 2019 level when there were cash rake races, the old VIP program, SNG leaderboards, etc. It would also make a lot of sense to move to an even more robust program considering the current situation. Gonna be tons of people looking for something to do with coronavirus shutting down so many forms of entertainment (and casinos/live poker rooms as well).

This rep is saying that 1/2 is officially gone, but the reps always say different things so who knows. Would be a super bizarre decision, but little that Chico has done in the past 9 months has made a modicum of sense.
