LUBHUB Please delete your posts and stop spamming this thread as there are much more pressing matters at hand. We all had to deal with the site freezing and miss a few hands, it happens life goes on, people dont want to see every hand you had to fold mate. Get over it or email them privately. People are discussing more serious matters here.

Mike i'm not on 2+2 much and can't seem to figure out how to contact you privately through DM or find any other contact info for you. I have a bunch of hands that involved 2 or more of these players at the same table.

Re: BetOnline.ag Poker: Tournaments Thread

Looking at so many regs graphs, we all started downswinging around the same time. and talking to people, it seems a lot of players are "running bad" in these final 3 table and on ICM heavy spots. Due to the new awful structures, these tournaments are super short during these phases. The power collusion and hole card sharing has would be insane.

I may cease my play on the site until there's a response and investigation on these issues.

I'm running so bad the last 2 1/2 weeks it feels like the site is trolling me LMFAO. Its reminding me of my ACR days before I stopped playing there. Im not saying anything fishy is going on just that im a reg running like poo poo. Oh also I agree the bigger buy in tourneys are complete crap. No reason the 55s and 109s and 215s should be the mtts with the crap structures. Makes no sense but not much this network does makes much sense so.

Yea I 100% retract what I say. Something isn't right at all. No way this is possible for 500 straight mtts to take the beats I've taken in EVERY SINGLE BIG SPOT. No freaking way this is close to normal. I'm withdrawing what I have left and i'm outty. L-O-L while typing this I bust 2 mtts aipf to 2 outers ROFLMAO. The stuff I been seeing and dealing with makes ZERO sense over these last 3 weeks.

What in the world is this Ante Up structure tonight? Max late reg at 250-500 with 2,000 chips? This isn't an ante up structure at all.

I'm glad I'm not the only person experiencing this. I've been playing online poker since 2005 and I have never in my life experienced the type of insane run bad I've seen on this site. It's like the site wide RNG has been altered. I'm not a conspiracy theorist in any way but the things I'm seeing lately are crazy, for example I've seen quads over a dozen times in the past 2-3k hands (2 more times today), several times with 3 of the same card on the board. 2 or 3 outers are hitting almost 50% over the past couple weeks.

I'm at the point I'm considering playing live exclusively, BOL is the only site you can get money on and off quickly and I no longer trust the integrity of the site.

Re: BetOnline.ag Poker: Tournaments Thread

I've played hundreds of thousands of hands on this network. Most of those have been at the NLHE cash game tables. I've never suspected anything wrong with their RNG. I highly doubt they use a different RNG for their other game formats. There are some issues that need improvement with this network, but their RNG is not one of those things that springs to mind.

Read up on poker variance. Unlikely things can happen in small samples and it's possible to run bad over relatively large samples.

Oh trust me, I understand variance and standard deviation. As I said I've been playing poker for a long time at this point and have weathered my fair share of brutal streaks. What prompted me to post in this thread is a conversation I had in one of my tournaments with someone who was a recreational player and, after seeing a pair over pair over pair AIPF where the lowest pair made quads, started talking about how many times he's seen quads over the past couple weeks (just like me).

Made me curious enough to check and see if anyone was talking about horrific runbad lately in this thread and, lo and behold, two other people are talking about it on this very page.

Also, I played for around an hour today and saw quads two more times, lol. I'd have to check but I believe that makes either 14 or 15 times in the past 3k or so hands, which seems totally normal.

Hey I hope I'm wrong, but I just want to know if anyone else is seeing this type of stuff because I am a naturally paranoid person, and it has served me well thus far in life

I've had quads a lot lately, but that's in boost where a lot more hands are played than anywhere else. The increase in traffic on the site might have to do with the bigger hands popping up more often as there's a lot more poker being played now.

With all these big hands(Quads), it's a wonder how the big beat jackpot sometimes goes months without being hit and has had a million dollars in it before when all that is needed is quads over quads.

In the future, I would recommend not consulting with recreational players when you suspect something is fishy.

Ah, there's the condescension I knew was coming. Honestly I'm surprised you (somewhat) refrained in your first post.

The point of the anecdote was that it was something I had already noticed myself, and a random player, unsolicited, comments on how they are noticing the exact same thing in the same time frame. Additionally, in this thread on this page there's two other people saying the same thing.

I've played on BOL for a while now and never had any reservations about the RNG until just the past few weeks. And no, it's not because I'm running bad and I'm just mad. If I thought it was a conspiracy every time i took a string of beats I would have quit poker years and years ago.

You can mock me if you want, that's the response i anticipated before posting anyway so it doesn't bother me. I simply want to get input from other regulars to see if they've notice similar things recently, and there's nothing wrong with that. Hopefully I really am simply experiencing the worst run of negative variance I've ever had and this is all a coincidence.

Re: BetOnline.ag Poker: Tournaments Thread

I've been a 2+2 reader well over a decade. Have never had to create an account to post, due to the fact the 2+2 community is so expansive, knowledgeable, and reactive.

I've always said, if i ever have to create an account to post here, it will be a sad day, as something to the equivalent of Black Friday has occurred. Well, unfortunately, SadDay 2+2 account has been created due to what I've witnessed on BOL Poker the past month.

As usual, the great contributors on this forum have already tried to make folks aware of what has been going on the past 3-4 weeks. Would normally just be another example of where I wouldn't need to create an account to post. Unfortunately, I felt the need to do so during this time. Given the influx on new players due to this pandemic, I don't want to see people take a bigger, unnecessary financial hit than this virus is already delivering.

Not saying don't play here, just do your homework. Love playing BOL poker, great software, fast payouts, etc. However, something has sure been waaaayyyy off recently. Sure hope its a dishonest group of players, as that can be rectified--- and not the fact that sports stopped.

I have no desire to mock you. I was simply stating facts. There was zero condescension intended in either of my replies, but you can interpret them that way if you want.

If you have a significant sample of hands to show which seems to suggest that something is wrong with the RNG then please post them. If not, then I'll just continue to assume that the hundreds of thousands of hands I've played on the network, which suggest nothing is amiss with the RNG, are correct. I prefer to rely on solid math rather than feelings.

This was a pretty bogus flaw the other day in the $33 bounty. You could literally register the tournament when it was in the money. Not sure how this didn't get more attention.

Leaving reg open so long in these tourneys is pretty whack as well. You can reg still the start of the 2500bb level in most tourneys, with a lot of people hopping in with 4bb and max stalling every hand to be near the bubble in 10-15 mins. That's just a bad way to structure tourneys.

I also had the glitch while switching tables this past Sunday (March 22) during the major tourneys where whenever I switched tables, I would get a "Reseating..." error message and my new table would never pop up. Would have to close and reopen the entire client and log-in again, sometimes 2-3 times before my tables would fully come up. This was deep in the $109 100k major where avg stack is 10-15bbs bc the structure is so ****, so I legit missed 3-5 very important hands in a row, mulitple times, while sitting out to close/re-open the software.

This site has potential but just seems like too much weird **** going on for me to feel comfortable playing more than a couple tourneys a week on there.

The site has had a massive increase in traffic that they have never experienced before and never have expected, that's why it's been so laggy and there's been so many disconnects.
