Had an idea for BOL that might get more of their zoom games running. Currently only 10z gets any traction. I think this is because the boost jackpot, which helps drive traffic to that game, is the same for 10z as it is at 500z. So at higher stakes there's more of a reason for players to choose the regular tables where the bad beat jackpot is a healthy 6 figures.

So maybe offer progressively larger jackpots for the zoom games to entice people to move from the regular tables to zoom? I've also found many suspected bot accounts don't play the fast fold games which is curious to me but at least that can be a way to avoid them.

I would prefer to play it like a normal tournament but such a broken structure forces you to register last second and stall, stealing EV from everyone who played it from the beginning. Considering the prize pools have been exceeding the guarantees why would they change it? I understand your perspective and I previously was in your camp but those late registering players are really just gambling with a 5BB stack for a min cash of not even 2x buyin. If they want to play for the min cash than go for it, i'm playing for much higher. Once you shift that mindset you see that it is an advantage for those that want to play solid and register early to build up a stack that can get you deep. Also, I thought I really understood tournament variance but in actuality I didn't. Your tournament fate most likely will come down to essentially a coin flip or if you're lucky 60%-40%. This happens more often too I assume since most tournaments currently are multi-entry. If you're aiming for final tables than stop putting so much emphasis on whether this flip knocks you out near the bubble or just right after the bubble. I don't know a good solution other than shortening registration times but the way the poker ecosystem is may result in tournaments not hitting their guarantees.

I e-mailed poker support, chatted with poker support on live chat, and pm'd bet online Mike here on the forums. Friday and Saturday. Regarding all of this. All told me they would get back to me within 48 hours by email or pm. I have heard from exactly none of them. So here we are.

Chico network is heavily infiltrated with bots and real time gto software users in cash games and HU SNG's. Refuses to do anything about it, despite constant help from their higher stakes players to identify those accounts.

Have made VIP points useless for nearly a year now with no end in sight. (basically stealing money from players).

Completely changed all cash games and sng promos last month with zero prior notice given too their players.

And they have completely incompetent and under trained customer support staff. For even the most simple inquiries. ( I chatted with poker department for poker promos and they thought I was referring to a sports bet).

BUT THEY HAVE FAST PAYOUTS!!!

As noted in the Cash Game thread by joe64, bot accounts occasionally win large chunks of the bigger Bad Beat Jackpot as well. It's sickening to see cheaters prosper from the promotions meant to be dispersed among the legit players on the network!

Mike you need to address this immediately. A statement on this issue where everyone can read the response. Not a direct message

Mike hasn't addressed anything of substance in months, check his posting history. The only new "info" he's even provided in the new year is that an MTT changed to a 75k guarantee. All he does now is either ignore posts or say that it will be brought up in meetings and that he'll alert us to changes, but then never gets back to us.

I have explained this before, but Betonline are doing everything possible to rid our community of people using illegal software or any form of cheating that goes against our fair play rules.


It seems extremely counter productive if you guys want to help catch cheats to post all of their information online where they can see it and possibly cash out before we get a chance to go through the correct procedure.

I tried to battle in the first week of january with these teo and thx4ychips and than burned out I asked the Teo guy on a hu table do you ever sleep and he told me he sleeps 7 hour a day and grind and he is not sharing his account (LOL) . He was suspicious the whole time for me , played weird style. So only chicho knows the truth .

Take it even further and after 1 hour of late reg., reduce the starting stack by a certain percent for every 15 minutes that goes by until late reg has concluded.

I Never understood why this wasn't standard (even in live MTTs). Reward the people who start on time and it will boost the amount of pre-reg, possibly growing MTTs slightly

Not sure when the "extra stack" become too large tho, 10%-20% is what feels reasonable

Would prefer if people that were present at the start of tournaments received a different type of benefit, perhaps increased VIP points (or some other incentive/ladder since VIP points are ??? right now).
If players received a stack boost for being present at the beginning, yes you would get more people present at the start of the tournament but fewer people would late register or reenter. Overall I believe this would result in a small decrease in the number of entrants.

Bad Idea. VIP points are worth somewhere between Sklansky bucks and Galfond Bucks.
