Re: BetOnline.ag Poker: Promotions Thread

It's still going to hit pretty often in a fast fold pool at that requirement. It's not like the big one where you need to lose with quad Queens now. It was going off at an average of at least once a day previously. The winners will also be getting a bigger prize as the jackpot will have more time to build. Even the big Bad Beat Jackpot went off twice in a day at least once or twice at that requirement.

Re: BetOnline.ag Poker: Promotions Thread

I have no issue with them changing the requirement of the BBJ but I'm annoyed they didn't let anyone know except to change it on the promotions page of the website. Since it had never changed there was no reason to check it frequently. It's possible they put it out somewhere I'm not aware of and I just didn't see it but I feel they should of had a link or notice on the table next to the BBJ up top.

Not the hugest deal obviously, but was annoyed I stacked off in a spot where normally it would have gone off. I guess I should of realized when it got above $1.5k something might be up lol

"The Bad Beat Jackpot possibility is the double-edged sword that may have you second guessing your urge to "fast fold" and get out of Dodge and into a new hand.

The rub is if you’re not live in a hand when the Jackpot pops, you’ll be left out in the cold without a share of the Jackpot prize money."

I don't understand the difference between fast folding and regular folding in terms of getting a share of the jackpot. As soon as you fold you are no longer "live in a hand" anyway. Do you only get a portion of the portion that goes to those at the table if you go to showdown?

I think as long as your playing you're going to get a share. I've gotten pieces when I'm playing and someone has it before while not being "live" at the table. I think they mean if you are sitting out or have left the pool then you won't be getting a share is my take on it.

I definitely understand and empathize with your frustration. I also completely agree that more communication from them about changes ahead of time would be nice. They usually make a change first and then sometimes announce it a day or two later, either on their website, via email, here in the forum and/or in the client. For some things there's no communication about changes whatsoever.

Re: BetOnline.ag Poker: Promotions Thread

Hi all,

Coming up is our anniversary on 2+2 and I wanted to do something to celebrate.

We are going to be giving away some form of prizes or cash, and I wanted some ideas from you guys. Maybe a private tournament? online contest? seat giveaways?

What do you want to see?

Any silly comments/trolls not regarding this topic will be deleted (pre warning)

Thanks

Mike

Private tournament or seat giveaways to the main, though Iím sure cash grinders would want something else. Mike have you ever thought about getting a twitter handle so you can announce things like maintenance, promotions, and tourney series. People could also DM you there. I feel like you could reach more people to promote the site also. I think BetOnline has twitter but they donít use it very well and itís more for their sports book. Maybe a betonlinePoKER twitter account?

BetOnlineMike, can you stop with this transparent ****, no one cares about an additional $2,222 in tournament prize pools. Address the VIP point system that has been reduced to nothing for almost a year now, fix the tournament structures, address the withdraw limitations and when that stupid as s hit sanction is going to be removed, address the BOT problems, or STFU please.

All very fair points. However, with basically no sports running and them being primarily a sportsbook it makes sense that they have limited withdrawals to $3,000/wk.

They pay crypto out in minutes in most cases at least.

It makes sense for them to do something that no other site is doing with absolutely zero communication to the player pool? They are forcing people to keep their money on the site so that they pay more rake, gamble more at the casino, and eventually dump it all back to them b/c they are losing revenue without sports. Then they shamelessly try to claim that their processors are having problems due to the pandemic which is why the limitation is in place. I have no sympathy for this site whatsoever, they are constantly conducting shady business practices that are only allowed due to them operating in an unregulated status. It's outrageous and you should be pissed as well. Then they have the audacity to have this BetOnlineMike shill make empty promise after empty promise to everyone to make it seem like they are doing something about things, which they are not. It's a giant facade and is insulting to anyone with an IQ over 10. They have no loyalty to any player on their site and do whatever makes them the most money at all times, crooked as F.

You have the prizepool set to $2.22 not $2,222.

It is a Gtd Bounty prize pool, so the money will be paid out via knockouts.

I will also be playing, and with a special bounty on my head........

See you all soon

So is the the $2.2k only paid out in KO's or is it also added to the top spots? Also, when will those figures be posted? Thanks Mike

Before I make an account, any deposit bonuses or rakeback promotions I should know about? If there are any, are the playthrough requirements fair to cash out? Thanks.

no rakeback, no cashout requirements as far as playing time or # of hands or anything like that as far as I know. There might be minimum withdrawal amounts. Always withdraw on Fridays so you get your withdrawal fee waived.

They have a poker promotions page. New accounts are eligible for a 100% First Deposit Bonus.

BetOnline First Deposit Bonus

*Always read through the Terms & Conditions before accepting any bonuses from any online gambling sites. Sometimes they can't be cleared by playing poker. Sometimes you can't withdraw funds until the requirements are satisfied. Sometimes the requirements will be too much for you to accomplish.
