That should fall under the category of software like pokertracker which is ok. Ive not used H2N personally so Im just assuming its fine, since Huds are allowed. SOLVERS like Pio and SimplePostflop is the stuff that will get you in trouble.

They don't want you using bots, live advice software, seating scripts or solvers while their client is open. As far as I'm aware, everything else is allowed.

anyone knows where the notes file is located so I can transfer it to a new pc?
06-20-2020 , 07:59 AM
I don't believe you can access the notes from any files on your computer, similar to not being able to access the client hand histories except from within the client. I'm not even sure if it's necessary to transfer them if you're still going to play from the same account on a new computer, but I'm not positive.

I got a new computer and my notes were still there.

check the cash game thread. There is dispute about Huds being allowed, the web site says they are banned while playing.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I realized I have like 400k VIP points, but I can't find out where one could actually use them on anything. Anybody know?

Entry into mtts(possibly just a satellite). Nothing else
06-24-2020 , 04:28 PM
There's no current uses for them, as far as I'm aware.
06-27-2020 , 05:10 AM
Confirmed, they are of absolutely no use whatsoever anymore

although not poker related, it is site related. Just won $700 on the $20 1000x rollover casino bonus! Got lucky on some slots...

Hopefully no shadyness when I try to cashout, was released into available balance automatically when I cleared the 1000X so I dont see how it can be messed with but just putting this here in case.

Good stuff jsd!

The cash outs at BOL are very good.

They always beat their 24 hour turn around by miles.

Personally, they have never taken more than 7 hours. It is usually under 30 mins for me with Bitcoin.

You'll find a lot of good feedback from others in the cash out thread as well.

I started having some major issues with the betonline client after picking up a brand new laptop. The PC in question is the Asus G14, which is a beast by all accounts and comes with AMD Ryzen 9 (8-core processor) and Nvidia RTX 2060 MQ dedicated video card.

The poker client works fine when I'm using the laptop by itself. Problems start when I try to launch it with external monitors hooked up. As soon as I start the client I get this message:

"LoadLibrary failed with error 126: The specified module could not be found."
Then it just hangs.

After doing some research I've learned that this error is usually a graphics card issue.

It looked like the betonline client wanted to load when the computer was running with the native AMD Radeon graphics and it didn't want to load when the Nvidia card would engage, such as when the external monitors are hooked up.

What I did next was I disabled the native AMD video graphics, which forced the Nvidia card to always run and the client loaded up without any issues even with external monitors hooked up! Apparently it just doesn't like it when there's more than one source for video graphics.

Obviously this is not a solution because I can't have the dedicated video card running 24/7 when on battery power. Is there an actual fix for this? I know the laptop is not at fault because Betonline is the only program that's misbehaving. Any ideas?

Can’t offer you any solutions but I can commiserate regarding the monitor issues - I recently purchased a 4K monitor to optimize multitabling and have had issues with betonline’s software which doesn’t appear to be optimized for a 4K monitor. The client and tables were repeatedly flashing black (every 5-10 seconds) when I had the 4K monitor and second 24” connected but today after testing using only monitor it started working. Then when I added a second one it was still working. Never had issues with other poker clients either.

It sure is frustrating that after spending a bunch of money on a new laptop I still can't play right. I wouldn't even need a new laptop if it wasn't for the betonline client which slows down all my other computers to a crawl. My four-month-old Surface Pro with i7 processor is no match for this unoptimized abomination. If I have several tables open and a couple of monitors hooked up the lag gets so bad that I start timing out.

I guess the lesson here is go for lots of power, but also avoid getting bleeding edge tech because betonline may not know what to do with it.

Yeah it sucks - I’m actually once again experiencing the same problem outlined in my last post which is unfortunate. I’ve personally always liked the betonline client but for some reason it’s not running smoothly while ACR, and Ignition both run fine.

Not sure if you tried this trick yet, but it helped me solve a similar issue on one of my laptops.

Go to settings, click "video", the very last drop-down menu will probably say "D3xxx", change it to "open GL". Make sure to save and to close the client and only then restart the computer.

Thanks for the suggestion - gave it a shot and unfortunately it didn’t work. Reached out to support and no one has gotten back to me yet either. Very frustrating not sure what I’m going to do...
