The fact is that more traffic is good for all.

I can only apologise for what has taken a large amount of time to correct the situation.
Added to this the lack of communication was a big error on our part.

I am sorry and really hope to have some good news for you guys asap

Kind Regards

Mike

Mike, why are you not responding to my PMs? Are you having computer problems again?
10-22-2019 , 11:48 AM
He's been caught in important meetings for the last 3 months discussing the implementation of the new VIP points system.
10-22-2019 , 01:44 PM
Are there reload bonuses?

Hi mate how are you?
Not that I am aware of at the moment.
I have not received any private messages from you for a while. Could you please send it again?

Kind Regards

Mike

This is WPN levels of incompetence with regards to VIP points. It's almost just a scam at this point. Does any legit company ever hold points hostage like this? Like, wtf?

Chico basically stole everyones rakeback for more than three months. Either their hurting for money and in dire trouble or something else is up. Also, Mike is doing an awful job communicating with the "team" and clearly is here for PR purposes and not support.

Yeah its crazy...if they are hurting that bad that they want to end the tiny amount of rakeback they were giving us that's one thing. But to take it away without any notice whatsoever is literally stealing. I don't see how its close...

So why is 2+2 taking their marketing money? Is everyone hurting that bad that we are just ignoring morals and ethics?

This site is allowing bots to flourish (and probably in on it) and now it steals from its customers and I'm seeing betonline ads on 2+2 every time I get on. Hey Mike, did you guys pay for the 2+2 ads with our f u c k i n g money? Next time you are in a "rakeback meeting" ask them for me.

hahaha chico are you still alive ?

I just opened a BOL account. I take it depositing is a bad/risky idea?

yes, very bad idea

Why would it be? I've been playing here for several years. I haven't had any issues getting money off of the site when I've requested a withdrawal. If you mean because of the rewards points or bots then that's a valid reason, but you will encounter lack of rewards and/or bot issues at any site which caters to the US. There's not one real great option. They all have pros and cons. I would advise you to make small deposits at each to check out the games and see which you prefer best, unless you're looking to maximize the first deposit bonus.

If you're OK with Global Poker then you'll like BOL MUCH better.
BOL offers more poker options (omaha hi-low, double or nothing, boost, short deck). No crazy pineapple, though !
Their software is superior compared to Global.
I'm a rec micro sit-n-go player and enjoy it over Global hands down.
Haven't come across any bots (that I know of) in the micro sit-n-gos.
Up to you, GL!

BOL is garbage. The suckouts are ridiculous, it honestly gets old. I have a feeling the “pot bloaters” are given an advantage. I know if I was dishonest and owned an online poker site I would make it so that my cash cows are either winners or brake even to keep them playing. I mean would you rather have the rake on $1 pots from the nitty grinders or make rake off a table with guys over betting and bloating the pots with their all in gambling. It would be quite simple to design a system that deals you cards based on your VPIP. The tight nitty players get boned while the aggro pot bloating gamblers suck out. Obviously this is all specualtion, but entirely possible for a site based out of panama that I’m sure is strictly regulated, sike.

Of course there will be people in here defending the site as they don’t want their “watering hole” to dry up, but even those people should be able to at least admit that it is totally possible for a foreign site to be rigged.

This is a message for those that play on the site and have that sneaking suspicion that they are getting cheated and get sucked out on regularly. It is totally possible that is just bad luck or you are just a non winning player, but it’s also possible you are getting cheated. If it was me I wouldn’t want to even take that chance. Stick to a more regulated American site or stick to live poker which is what my plan is since I’m a Maryland resident and can’t play on any domestic sites. I will not be depositing anymore money onto BOL and I implore you guys not to as well.

BOL isn't perfect, but it definitely isn't rigged lol

I always get a kick out of the rigged crowd who say stuff like "it's not fair, opponents always do x and win!". If you actually believe it's rigged in that way then why not do x yourself and print money?

Hi everybody, hope you are all well.

I’ve worked on a few proposals with the poker team and I’d like to hear your thoughts on the following:

$100,000 GTD tournament ($109 buy-in end of November): in recent surveys our players stated that they wanted us to invest more in tournaments series, bigger events and missions/challenges that seem to be quite popular nowadays. I just want you all to know that we are currently working on this and the upcoming event is only the beginning.

Points only 100-Seater to the $100,000 GTD: we want all of you to be part of this event and this month you guys will have the chance to enter this special mega satellite with your VIP Points. It’s a great chance to spend your points and secure your $109 seat.

VIP Points and VIP Levels: at this point I can give you guys a bit of info with regards to a more robust plan for your VIP points. At this stage you are more than welcome to pitch in with ideas and hopefully we can turn those around to deliver a program that makes you happy. At the end of the day, that’s what we are trying to accomplish. So, in theory our goal is to give you guys the chance to participate in weekly rewards (based on your VIP level).

Also we are considering exclusive weekly tournaments for each of the tiers and you will be able to exchange your points into those. There’s also bonus offers by VIP level and other gimmicky stuff in the pipeline that we are confident to deliver soon. Until then we will continue to bring you ways to use your points.

PLO Weekends: we added a significant amount of PLO tourneys to our weekend schedule. Check these out in November and let me know any feedback you might have.
As always feel free to message me with any suggestions or feedback.

Kind Regards

Mike

Like most sites....yes it's safe to deposit, yes they pay out, yes the software is decent, yes they have bots, yes they have some issues. Yes, they are an online poker site. You're as safe here as any other US facing site, for the most part.

So from "soon" to "very soon" to "we don't even know what to do with VIP points yet"? Because your comment indicates you are not anywhere close
I'd like to keep it as simple as possible. Thats highly disappointing.
Simplest: give us the option to convert the points into $ like WPN or iPoker
Less simple: Give us the option to use the points to buy into SNGs like MPN
Not so simple: Give us the option to use the points to buy $ bonus like Unibet

And I think it would be fair if you'd let us exchange the amount of points for $ that we could've since you took the option away. I'm not sure how long it has been, but lets say it has been 6 months than give us the option to exchange points for 600$.

(I know I'm very likely just shooting the messenger, in which case please note the frustration isn't directed torwards you personally, please pass it on to whoever deserves it)

As NIN mentioned this dialog should've began before you took away points or at least in the first week after they were taken away. Oh well, at least it appears some progress is being made.

I'm strictly a cash game guy (PLO) and hate tournaments and SNGs so I'm not a fan of a system that forces me to play MTTs or SNGs with my points. I would much prefer to be able to exchange them for straight cash or bonuses.

I didn't mind being able to use points in the largest buy in MTTs ($50 and 100 buyins) b/c at least I could late register when stacks were under 20BBs and try and win a couple flips or be knocked out pretty quickly, so not too much time invested.
