Rat bastards told us for over a year they were going to honor the VIP points. Now they just took them all. I had $1000+ in points. BOL just stole a few million bucks from it's players.

hahahahaha but guys, guys....don't get your panties in a bunch....

Mike told us that Bet Online has added more tournaments to compensate for this - so all us cash players that don't play tournaments (like myself) get our points stolen and don't get anything back!

If you really think about it, sacrificing our own rightfully earned profit from the points is better for the entire ecosystem so in the end, we get back way more than was taken!

hi chris

alright, but this is not fair for the players who busted right when this change took place. me for example, after the prizes changed to winner takes all, went allin every hand. so i busted in something around place 350, it was no more possible to see how much u would get paied normally. many other players also went allin blind because they did not want to play a winner takes all. i had a big stack and was top 50 or something. also the live chat told me that this was a "cardroom decision" and will not be changed i was still in this tournament folding every hand hoping the live chat will tell me this error gets adjusted. they did not so i moved allin and busted

any solution for this or do we just have to live with it? i feel honestly a bit cheated and really i would have never moved allin blindly like this under normal circumstances.

thanks.

Those people and the 4 or 5 others - what do you think they would say to someone else who inquired about any relevant info they might have on Bet Online?

Not to mention easily over 15 posters directly from this forum that have said they were totally done with the site.

That's potentially 100+ possible clients not even counting 2nd + 3rd hand inquiries.

Assuming each of those 100 clients could have raked modestly ~$1,500 a month, that is $150,000 a month BetOnline has lost just from my own personal sphere of keeping up with this thread.
I'm sure I'm in the top 3 of PLO200 hands played by a (human) player over the last 5 years on this site, but got fed up with the BS and played my last hand in about May. It was obvious they were screwing us over with the VIP points and the continuous lies by Mike (how many times did he tell us the new program is coming soon?) to keep buying time really rubbed me the wrong way.

Luckily it caused me to open my eyes and realize there are several sites I like more than BOL. It would probably take the introduction of an old PokerStars Supernova Elite-like program to entice me to come back at this point.

Oh and when I really put my nose to the grindstone, I raked about $15,000 a month, so that's like 10 theoretical clients in n00b's calculations. I see that now that would get me back maybe like $1175 in rewards which is a complete joke.

I honestly think that their model was in trouble and they were headed for tough times at the start of this year after losing a lot of human players due to certain issues, but then the quarantine hit and brought in an influx of new players which has masked any issues and convinced the higher ups that they're doing well. We'll see what happens long-term. If they can continue cleaning up the bot issue and add a decent VIP program I think they could capitalize on the USA market, which has been thirsting for a great option for years.

The solution would be to refund any rebuys and/or addons purchased. There's no guarantee you would have cashed by playing different.

I play $10 and $25 PLO on BOL. What sites do you currently play on? How is the PLO traffic on these sites? Any insight would be appreciated as it is clear that a lot of people are getting fed up with how BOL has been treating them.

Combo of ACR, GG, apps, and Bodog. I'd say ACR is the only one that's noticeably tougher than BOL, but obv rewards are way better. Other than that I just game select well and go where the games are softest. Seems like it varies from week to week.

At your stakes, rake is probably the biggest consideration, so I'd probably go wherever rake is lowest.

A few months ago there was a wave of restrictions on the network. many players were restricted to 2 tables max. nobody got a reason. management has decided.
the common point of all these players including me, regular players and winners for over a year. this decision is final.
I think that all players should be aware of these practices ... Of course I will not continue to play and allow them to earn money with me.
It's scandalous when you know that dozens of bots continue to play without the slightest problem. and also quite incomprehensible.
Finally, on this network nothing is surprising anymore I think ...

https://clip2net.com/s/48HZHgY - the list of chiko bots 2020 from the following thread

I`m pretty sure the BOL security already have this information, since it was sended directly to all pokerooms

As a player who has made BOL my main site to play on, focusing on NL10 and working my way up mainly on the boost tables, do the NL25 boost tables ever run? Or have in the past?

I don't think I have ever seen more then 3 players at the NL25 boost tables. Which is a little disheartening. The NL10 boost usually have 30-40ish players from morning to around dinner time then have 50-60 until the late night when it drops to 0...but the NL25 boost never seen to run period. I have my filter on to only show NL10+25 tables, so do the NL50 boost ones run consistenly? Will I have to just 4 table 6 and 9 handed regular NL25 tables until I am ready for NL50 boost ones?

i love BOLS software but the bots are so bad at 10NL im about to stop playing their. it is so blatantly obvious, it is sickening. wish i could just find a fair poker room to play online. . .

BOL made great job fighting bots last few month, I think they will keep on it

played some 5/10NL today -- very minimal bots on the regular tables for these stakes right now. (0-1 bots)

Yes you are kind of right. It was also kind of my mistake to push any 2 allin but the support chat maya told me that this decision is final so i was on tilt and did not bother to play anymore. I should just leave and let me get blinded off.

Still i dont think this was handled well and professional. My email also got ignored, they answered days later but only for another issue and completly ignored this!

Can someone please explain how BOL decides to allocate their ass backwards blinds on NL10 boost? Now I understand it is highly unlikely they can arrange it so you are only a blind 2 out of every 6 hands...but why am I constantly a SB 2 hands in a row, 1 hand out of a blind, then immediately the BB? I have been keeping track and in my sessions the last few days I am a blind in more then half of my hands.. I nearly never go more then 2 hands without being placed in a blind. I have literally been SB 2 hands in a row, then immediately BB the very next hand, 1 hand out of the blinds then SB 2 hands in a row again. That is just ridiculous being forced into blinds having to relinquish a forced bet in half of the hands dealt to me. This is not right and the blinds should be allocated 33% of the time over a session, not over 50. I understand it is tough when it is a 50 player pool but slow it down a few seconds if need be. This is literally making me about to stop being a regular on the zoom tables. With no rakeback, VIP points disappearing which is their cheapskate version of player "appreciation" (yeah they appreciate how much they can make off you") and a pitiful "prize" of $1-1.50 being in the top 50-60 in rake accumulators for their NL10 games every week there is no incentive to play boost if I have to commit chips half of the hands I am dealt automatically. Unfortunate that WPN is so shady on top of being bot infested for their zoom poker player pool is so much larger.

What is your sample size? It should all even out over time. As I would tell anybody else, you need to show the statistical data of a meaningful sample for anybody here to take concerns like this seriously. Use a tracking program to track your hands. If after 50k hands you can show that you've played 50% of your hands from the blinds at full 6max tables then there's something that's clearly wrong.

Three times now. Happened again at the 4PM ET one. It seems to happen when it gets over 2000 players, like their payout tables don't go above that and the software defaults to 1 winner. Very flakey, should be easy to fix.

I hope I get my manual adjustment too.
08-09-2020 , 09:31 PM
Has anyone gotten the manual adjustment? How long did it take?
08-10-2020 , 03:45 PM
If you play more hands in EP/MP/CO/BTN, it will take a lot longer for the blinds to hit you again so there's always that

I am writing this as a warning to people to avoid the Tigergaming skin. I have strong reasons to believe they are not financially sound.

I have been trying to get a simple address change verified for 4 months. At this point I have been in contact with the chat representatives 20+ times, and sent in documents 12 times.

During this time, I have never recieved an email back from their documents department even though representatives verify that the documents have been recieved.

In addition to this, all other skin have raised limits except Tigergaming.

I have never, ever, recieved such a treatment from a poker site over such a simple trivial matter.
08-11-2020 , 10:16 PM
Its been two days now and no adjustment. I don't know if its worth it bothering them with an email as others didn't get responses, maybe tomorrow. Hundreds of people were affected. Many were complaining about it over the chat.

It's only about a dollar for me after spending 25 cents on an addon. But it's not the money it's the integrity of the site that's reflected by this. Does it happen in higher stakes tourneys too?
08-12-2020 , 03:08 AM
I still never got anything for 5th in the $500 on Sunday.
08-14-2020 , 02:22 AM
so when are you gonna reveal these strong reasons?
