Thanks for the kind words!

We've got a good group of NL cash game regs who help us identify new ones and even recently added a group of PLO cash game regs who have been compiling information about the ones that play in those games.

I've seen the bot situation fluctuate a lot over the last few years in the NL cash games. Sometimes a bunch of them get removed and sometimes the accounts stick around for long periods of time, for whatever reason. I've always seen a resurgence after a purge. Sometimes new ones appear pretty quickly and sometimes it takes a while, but they've always made their way back since I've been monitoring the situation. Hopefully this time is different, but that depends on the actions the network is willing to take against them going forward. I'm hoping we can get rid of all of the bots on the network some day!

Re: BetOnline.ag Poker: Cash Games Thread

lol if mike gets HUDs banned that would be epic

losing probably 50% of their current player pool

increase in bots as if 4 bots for each table wasn't enough - to be fair I'm not sure how it's been the last month but 1 month doesn't account for the corruption of the last 5 years.

Chico gotta put out for a year imo before the player pool can trust them to remove HUDS as well

I think I actually wrote those words in a pm to Mike like 8 months ago

Hi Mike,

regarding the rake races, please make sure they check for possible account sharing.

I recognized at least one player with high volume changing behaviour thoughout the day (not buying in fullstacked, sitting out instead of battling etc.).

Thanks.

Rake races are a very dumb idea IMO and I wish you would put your efforts elsewhere like just giving rakeback or VIP points.
they do not incentivize casuals to play more.
they encourage excessive play which is physically and mentally unhealthy.
they encourage the teaming/cheating of having multiple people manning the same account.
finally, they benefit and encourage the development of bots.

Re: BetOnline.ag Poker: Cash Games Thread

Arguments against rake races are solid af

a Flat rakeback of 50% (50% being highest tier if you want) for all players would start bringing in the money

if you also ban the bots then you will absolutely crush the competition

then Mike could get a big fat promotion after all the increased revenue

I like the races and the competition.
It's really not hard to get into top ten.

50% flat rakeback... I mean I'm totally with you about the VIP points, but let's be realistic, this wont happen.

Would like flat rb as well but 50% will never happen, Maybe 20-30% is more realistic.

^^ Those 2 guys G.O.A.T. level negotiators.

Car lot salesman tries to sell you a 20 year old Buick century for $6,000.

These 2 guys: "Seems a bit high. I've seen these cars sell for $3,000 elsewhere. I'll give you $5,800 final offer."

Effective immediately, players are now able to make 2 payout requests per week, up to $15,000, on BOL, SB, WC, SS and LVG.

Changes on all websites will be applied between today and tomorrow.

Hello Mike,

Thats very good news.

But what about TigerGaming skin, why it has different cashout policy?

More bot-accounts keep being added, it's at the point where the average 2/5+ table now has 3 bots on it.

Yep, bots coming back full force in the games I play as well, particularly NL10/25. A few in NL5/10 as well, but not as bad as 10/25. Maybe just seems that way because they are more diluted by the larger player pool.

Knowing bots and operators, had a feeling this would occur. They tend to come back, unless a prolonged approach to security is enhanced on the site, vs relying on Customer reports.

For some strange reason, these folks feel like ACR and here are a gold mine, worth opening multiple accounts, tweaking the software.

Good luck Ninzent and MCAChiTown, with getting these again under control. Someone needs to attend to the lower stake pools, since that is where most of your recs will start (those that have done any research into learning online vs live play).
