I'm not sure when that exact conversation took place. It honestly fluctuates, but there's always at least some amount of them around in the NLHE cash games.

I saw 5 bots on 2 separate 100NL tables the other night, 6 different bots in total. One of them being your favorite, SuDDen. I posted the screenshot in the bot discussion channel of our Discord group.

Mike,

Will it be anything useful with VIP points in the future? Any exchange for anything? Cash, tickets, some with something?

So what happened with the guys bad beat jackpots winnings?

Is betonline stealing his money?

I think we all already know the answer. It's a pretty sad story. He did nothing wrong, seems to have a very stable connection, etc. I'd be tilted for weeks. Hoping for the best.

Geez I totally forgot about this issue. I took 90% of my roll off due to the lack of bot removal and sky high rake. Betonline is the nut low. Robbery in plain site

Yeah not looking good so far, but I've yet to hear an "Official response" Just some DM's from Mike here on 2p2. So holding out hope till support reaches out, if not I'm not done with it that's for sure

I'd take it further than that. You can probably get every poker vlogger, Podcaster, alot of poker pros, etc to tweet out warnings, etc against betonline etc.

Imo this is total bs. Not a chance in the world it was a bad timed random disconnect. You and the other players at the table are getting screwed.

If its not a site account taking down the bad beat, then they find a reason not to pay. Ridiculous.

Yeah that is the next step if it's necessary. Plenty have reached out to me so far, just holding off a bit while I give them a chance to do the right thing

No matter, it happened a while back - looks like your updated summary doesn't bode well.

And I might have been the first to publicly (I swear to ****ing god that's the hardest work to spell in English always go through 10 attempts before googling it Lmfao) state my full confidence in them using house bot accounts.

SuDDeN is the quintessential "You can't be this ******ed not to see it" bot and if that one is not getting banned then the only logical conclusion is that it's a house bot. It's also the bot that has had the most amount of data mining and evidence sent in for sure.

So now we have quadruple thievery. From bots, from points, from disconnecting new BBJ players, and from rake.

This should be your first step. You need to get it out in the public. Send it to the top poker blogs, poker news, twitter, FB etc

At least if you don't get any money from this then Bet Online will lose a massive amount in profits.

lol hasn't this issue been going on for over a year? Imagine the total # of VIP points in existence throughout all accounts and then imagine how much in total that is Bet Online has stolen from you

RIP

Actually I think devo is handling this well so far. I think he should give betonline the chance to do the right thing before blasting them anywhere and everywhere.

I mean, betonline rakes for the BBC so why shouldn't they pay it out here, assuming they even ever pay it out to real players and not just house accounts.

I'll leave the easy joke to somebody else and just assume you live in the UK.

Yes, real players have won the Bad Beat Jackpot and gotten paid for it. We have a recent winner who is active in the Chico Discord group.

Unfortunately bot accounts have not only won large shares of the payouts with regularity, but have also won the jackpot more than once as well.

Yeah it definitely wasn't a scam, at least that I think is the least likeliest of excuses. Just literally the worst possible bad beat ever IMO (obviously I am bias.)

I did remake a thread in NVG, I think 6 days was a good amount of time to give them to officially reach out to me. I still believe they will as BOL_Mike has told me in DMs but I needed to keep this at the top of peoples minds IMO, everyday that goes by and that BBJ still ticks my % of getting the table paid correctly greatly shrinks.

This was the statement Betonline released a few months back regarding the Vip points

We understand that there has been some speculation and frustration as to why we chose to modify how Player Points were traded back in August, 2019. Allowing players to buy-in with points to most tournaments seemed to serve its purpose in the past, but as we have grown, we found ourselves in the position where it began to limit our growth potential in terms of tournament offerings.

BetOnline is always looking for ways to offer a better experience to our users, and when it comes to poker, we look to offer our players some of the biggest tournaments online. To continue to grow our prize pools, we chose to reduce the options that accepted Player Points down to one, our Sunday Main Event satellites. Our main goal is that the community as a whole will benefit from the increase in new tournaments and prize pools.

Since then we released a new tournament schedule in September, 2019 that included new structures, more guaranteed tournaments and hundreds of thousands in additional guaranteed prizes every week. Our Sunday $60,000 Main Event has now been increased to $75,000 and we also offer a monthly $100,000 guaranteed tournament on the last Sunday of the month. We’ve also upped our promotional budget to ensure that the liquidity of our poker room is at an all-time high.

Mike,

We asked about what can we do with player points and will it be any chance in loyalty system(convert it to money\tickets\stuff) or smth, but u told us about new tournament schedule.

Do u think, u have answered our question?

Do u think it will be OK answer if u ask me what is the time now, and i will answer u my name is David?

Thats how ur answers looks like.
05-27-2020 , 01:33 PM
The answer to the question "what can I do with VIP points?" is "Nothing". They just dressed it up in a fancy way to avoid having to come out and answer "Nothing".

By the way, by "liquidity is at an all-time high", what he meant to say was "liquidity is at an all-time low" seeing as how cashouts are restricted to $3000/week now.

The point they're trying to make is that their cash flow is so poor that they couldn't afford to increase guarantees by 15k/week without using the VIP points cash bank. He answered the question pretty clearly. Whether or not we should believe that answer is the truth is another question entirely.

My guess is it's the best excuse they could come up with to siphon back some cash into their pockets permanently. The same way they randomly increased the admin fees in the BBJ. If their excuse was valid, they'd be allowing VIP redemptions again because their Sunday guarantees are now 150k+ and are never overlaying. But they aren't, so why not? They will never give us VIP point values again. ever.

"Outrage" that Betonline screwed it's customers who were saving points because Betonline was going to lose a shitload of money so you screwed the players.

The liquidity. Yeah I imagine why people are wondering if you guys have liquidity problems since you're A) screwing players who saved up VIP points and B) raping the low limit PLO players with house bots.

How the **** you continue to work for this company is beyond me. Either your dad runs it or they pay you a shitload of money to keep toeing the line like this.

Please for the love of god anyone out there reading this forum DO NOT DEPOSIT MONEY HERE.

It was, and still is, being handled poorly.

Here's how it could/should have been handled to not piss off as many players as they have.
  1. An email sent out to all of their players saying that the VIP points program would be ending soon, but something will be taking its place in the future. Email would state what day points would stop accumulating on and a give a date further in the future(a month or 2) when VIP points would stop being accepted for the current options.
  2. Points stop accumulating on the given date.
  3. Players are given a month or 2 to use up their remaining points on the existing options.
  4. All points disappear after that date.
  5. Some new system is point in its place.

That would still suck since they obviously wouldn't be replacing the old rewards program with a better one, but at least their players who had built up a ton of points wouldn't be nearly as angry about how they went about it, as well as feeling like they were lied to and stolen from.

Can you please just stop "Mike". This **** is getting ridiculous at this point. Just stop posting period, nothing you say has any substance and is always a scripted lie. We'd all rather just hear you say "phuck you guys, we're taking your money and stripping your benefits and there's nothing you can do about it, muahahahaah". Have some integrity man, jesus H.

Hi Devo

I was just told that the investigation has been completed and that you have been sent a message to your personal email address.

I encourage you to post the reply in the forum, but obviously that is totally up to you.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can do for you.

Kind regards
Mike
