Hey, BetOnline Mike.
Any update on my situation? My account locked for 4 days.

Looks like their update is now allowing more Cash Games Tables

I received such a letter in the mail and knowing 100% that I did not use anything from the software except hand2note, I conclude that this is another bulshit from the network. I asked when I received this letter from my opponents, including onpooka and otb_batmanbatya, and they said that they also received it, but not the fact that in January. Therefore, they do not ban the account, but only warn you, because it is visible or just random spam of suspicious accounts in their opinion, or an error of some internal system, but it will take a very long time before they understand it.
I even deleted Flopzilla just in case (although it is clearly allowed software should be), which I did not use for a very long time, I had no further thoughts about what else could lead to this
I will not get tired of repeating that my story is a marker that the security team is either very very weak and needs to be changed or very cunning and thus gives itself the opportunity to ban regulars who do not bring profit to the network

I HAVE A QUESTION-WHY IS ONPOOKA BEING INVESTIGATED ONLY NOW ? WHY DID THE SECURITY TEAM LET HIM PLAY FOR 2 MONTHS AND NOT CHECK ALL THAT TIME ? How can it even be like this?

Can anyone REASONABLY explain this?
Except for the complete lack of professionalism and weakness of the team?
An absolutely clear public example of how this network works

i guess its all cause of this screenshot with one phrase out of context. Security team cant read our full convesration at the table in 4 days. Now i do understand why some players dont answer in chat.
And btw I won high hand promo only once last week.

Onpooka I don't think you were banned because of the chat. Even though you ignore my messages, you should already be afraid that I-teotecan was deprived of all prizes and is still frozen. You shouldn't be so offended, because you got an extra$ 1,500 in January instead of$ 500, right? they just stole everything from me and recognized me as a fraud at the moment, although I was ready to record the entire game under the camera and repeat my results - but no one cares. So accept it you just got ****ed like me and the next leader is waiting for the same thing as he exceeds the limit on winnings.
Now Mike will write to you that the super team, after a thorough investigation, found that you violated something and let's go for now.

But let everyone ask the question, this onpooka has always been top 2-3 and played a lot for 2 months, 2 months it was not touched and not checked in parallel, purely from a human approach do you think it's fair that the security service allows itself this way?

lmbooooo! Way to go Chico network! Make the legitimate players here situations go from bad to worse. WOW! Who is making these decisions for the network?

So glad I decided to take my money off of this network. After my recent experiences here, and the continual decline in good decision making by Chico management in recent times.

I suggest others do the same asap. For your own good, and sanity!

This coming from someone who use to love BetOnline poker just a few years ago...

All my best,

DG

While I think somewhere in the 5-10 range is probably the ideal amount for a cash game table cap, I don't think a higher table cap is a reason to suggest players should all cash out. The only other US serving network which has a lower cap is Bovada/Ignition/Bodog. Most of the bots didn't even play up to the capped amount of tables when it was 8. Until about 2 years ago the cap was 12. For a brief period in-between it was 4.

There are other issues that merit leaving over. This is not one of them.

Fair enough, if that is your opinion. But this is just a new issue of the laundry list of items that do have legitimate merit for leaving the network over.

I was just trying to genuinely give my .02 cents of advice to other regular, and part time players on here.

I'll see myself out.

I think it's fine to state your displeasure with changes here so that the network and other players can see it. I didn't take issue with that. I would actually agree that it's a bad change if it was changed to uncapped or the table cap was significantly raised. The only issue I took with your post is that raising the cap was a reason to encourage players stop playing here.

You didn't even state why the change is bad in your opinion. I don't have any reason to believe the situation for legitimate players would get worse like you stated. There are reasons why I don't prefer a higher table cap, but it's not anything that involves cheating.

If players were to leave based on that reason then the only option you're left with as a US based players is Bovada/Ignition/Bodog. Even if you were going to play there as your main site, I wouldn't suggest making that particular one your only site since they regularly have software issues.

I have chosen to pull my roll off betonline, the fkn bots are ridiculous,, they almost seem to be superusers too when I catch 2 pair and im gonna check riase all in they check behind AJ top pair top kick and stuff like that, and seem to know wtf habd I have, the last straw was the bot checking back the river on a 3 club flop then I turn the Q and I have QQ this is a 3 bet pot and I check and he just ships it all in so its K Q 3 clubs so there like and he has Q T of clubs flopped the flush
I sound like a fkn fish or something I used to crush 3-6 and 5T on merge for 30 buyins a month and now im getting crushed at fkn 25nl by bots, I cant hit any fkn draws and when I do they get reoutdrawn making me feel fkn insane im done with chico for now going to bovada
02-21-2020 , 05:14 AM
i suggest everyone pull off and boycott the site, letting bots rape all the 6 max tables and 10 its just no good for anyone why did they have to allow this, i loved chico

It encourages more botting. Especially as word continues to spread how EASY it is to do on this particular network and go unpunished. They'll also be able to profit more with their under the table rakeback deals with their affiliates. Lets be transparent, most of us have heard about these deals.

Additionally, it will make it easier for multi-usering single accounts to rake in big profits from the iron man, and high hand leader-board promos.

But I digress.

Ya, as an American already signed up on BetOnline there is no way to get rakeback now. I sent an email to all the affiliates I could find and if you aren't signed up, you can get it. Hard to grind cash or sitngos on this site knowing you're leaving all that money on the table

I'm no poker is rigged guy or conspiracy theorist, but I had almost every hand like this yesterday. Mind you the day before I was up 12 buy ins. One hand that really sticks out was against 2blong suspected bots. I have AQ spades gets like 5 bet pre which is normal with these 2 I'm stuck in the middle of them. Flip K high 2 spades turn K spades I have nut flush. Both bots have me covered they're sitting with 4 buy ins a piece I have 2. I get all my money in. They stop raising, river double pairs the board with a 2. Bots go check check show k4 offsuit and red k8. To my AQ spades. This was 5 bet preflop then raised 3 more times on the turn until all my money was in. Both players made full houses on river but go check check?
I wish I had hand history I was on my phone at the time. It was such blatant collusion.

I think it's probably him too. There are lots of similarities between BenjaminFr and bloodywolf. Russian account, similar play-style with similar bet sizes, betting frequencies and opening ranges.

I can totally sympathize with your frustration. I've played a lot of hands with them and lost a lot of money to them in total. It's a real shame that the network either allows them or are too incompetent to consistently prevent, remove and deter them from returning.

I can almost guarantee you that they are not super users and are actually exploitable to a certain degree. First of all, very few of them play 500NL+. Even with the ones that do occasionally play those stakes, I have not seen any of them winning over any decent sample size. Some of the ones that play lower stakes actually do maintain solid winrates for their stakes.

I have and do worry about potential card-sharing between the bots when there are multiple bots at a table. I have no proof that they do, but I have seen them show up with much stranger hands at showdown than when it's only one at a table.

I'm sorry to hear that you're leaving, but I certainly can't fault you for it. I hope you run well with the software over at Bovada!

I know it sounds counter-intuitive, but I'm not sure it does encourage more botting. Like I mentioned, none of the bots were regularly playing 8 tables when that was the cap. Several of them could be found only playing a few tables at a time. I have no reason to believe that increasing the table cap would increase the amount of tables that they play on simultaneously. I would have to see it first.

I'm pretty sure most of the botting community are already aware of how this network operates. It's not so much the publicly sold bots I'm worried about. Over the last year the publicly sold bots all raised their potential risk level for playing on this network. I'm fairly confident that the most common cash game bots on this network are all coming from one private group operating out of Russia and/or Eastern Europe.

I think your concerns about a table cap increase and the rakeback affect definitely has merit, but my concern would be mostly with an increase in legit rakeback grinders filling the tables rather than bots. There's been a pretty good amount of them on this network for a while now. They're actually the type of players most often accused of botting by unaware new players since they often assume bots are likely to play lots of tables, play tight and always show up with the nuts.

I can also agree that it would increase the difficulty for most players trying to place higher in the rake races if they're competing against a shared account playing in shifts, but it's not like it's not already nearly impossible to beat that without teotecan's super-human abilities, if he's to be believed.

Do you mind posting the hand history here? That totally sounds like collusion and should be investigated.

what can the points be used for? has rb completely gone now on this network?

How do scripts work because I want to know how BOL can not detect them? I ask because it gets really annoying how there will be 8 players in front of me on the waitlist but when i actually get in, the table breaks before i can play a hand. or when i open a table and a rec sits it INSTANTLY fills up. this happens on almost every table at 200nl FR. how does pokerstars police this? maybe BOL you should look into it??????

Not much since last Summer. Prior to that you could use them to enter a variety of different MTTs. We were assured that new uses would be coming soon several times since then, but nothing besides a few different satellite MTTs have been given as options to this point. Most players are pretty angry about it.

Go to the MTT lobby and then hit the Filter button. Unclick everything besides VIP points. Those are your only options.

They automatically sit you at a table after another player, who you'd like to play with, has sat. I have no idea what they're doing to detect them, but if they're actively trying to stop them then they haven't done a very good job thus far.
