I actually just recently started listing and recording some players, but I haven't passed the information along just yet.


We obviously play on the same network and even in some of the same cash games. I still see it on a daily basis. It's pretty easy to identify. It's not as bad as it was in the past since some players have stopped using one or are using one on a slight delay, but there are still several players using one. I could give you a list of names.

This is great advice madmansam and I would love to see this stopped as well.

The straddle tables are very good, makes good action however the straddle tickbox should be visible, lot of players don't find how to put the straddle on I'm afraid. Also the Run it twice could be optional, that would be great.

And 10/20 plo tables would be also nice, as I know there are some 10/20nlhe games.

Anyone else get a big white box that says dummy window for monitor 0 whenever they open a new table? Running table tamer if that matters

I'm the definition of a rec (and not a very good one), but I play and sports bet for fun over the summer. Today, I withdrew my remaining balance from BOL after playing for the last month .5/1 NLH ring games due to the rampant botting.

I know many of you have the time, patience, or skill to get better and beat the bots, but I don't. Specific bots (Roland911, Afon9) have been running ridiculously well against me pots lately and I just don't see the ****ing point of playing on this site. These players have the same timing, bet lines, action, and it's ****ing unbelievably obvious to spot and remove these players from the games.

Right now Afon is sitting with two $600 stacks at .5/1 PLO and I remember playing vs him last ****ing August! Imagine how many people this computer has taken money from and BOL has done nothing about it. At least I can read the Bovada thread and see that some people have received some refunds from colluders/bots.

I know BOL Mike has been doing a great job, but it's sad the state of online poker at this point, and I can't participate on this website anymore. I'll be awaiting a refund for the 4-5 buyins I lost to these bots over the past month.

Is thoses tables for Usa players only ? I play on tigergaming and im from Canada, i dont see any of thoses tables.

I played yesterday for the first time in a while and didn't see any of the bots I used to see 24/7 at 10NL and 25NL. I'll have a better sample size today, but it seems to me like they are working hard to remove bots. You may be getting out at the wrong time

Man, even the recs know Afon is a bot, he's been around for ages. I think the only ones that don't know are BOL's security team.

You don't see the Run It Twice tables? Maybe you have them filtered out. I think it's only available at 100NL for NLHE. The option to straddle is located in the same area as the option to Auto Muck/Sit out next hand/Sit out next BB.

I can see them from New Zealand, and also playing at Tiger. Not all the stakes have them tho, I played straddle tables at plo500, there are also at plo 100, donno about other stakes.

I received an email saying they detected pío running on my computer, I said yes I have it and may have had the program open, but have never even thought of trying to use it while playing (I’m a pio noob and it takes me forever) - now they are asking me to uninstall it from my computer. Im glad they are taking steps to prevent non-legit software from being used, but - is this normal?

Ok i see taught they had thoses table at 200 and 500nl.

Before opening the client: shut down pio solver. then check task manager to see if any process are up and running. You may need to open windows services configuration to change auto running of some process to on demand at all times, and may need to do this more than once (I do not have any solver yet, just my knowledge of processes being detected even when you shut the program down).

If you do not know how to do these things, google is your friend, just do not download anything while searching for instructions.

The network has recently taken steps to detect different software they wish to prohibit players from using while at the tables. Several people who have had Pio open while having the client open have been asked to cease using Pio.

I don't think there should be an issue if you use Pio with the client closed, but I would take FutureInsights's advice and double-check that Pio is not running any processes on your computer prior to opening the client.


I don't believe I've ever seen it offered outside of 100NL for NLHE. It is offered at other stakes for PLO. If you'd like to see them at other stakes you could put your feedback in their suggestion box or the Software Improvement & Features Thread here in the forum.

No. It has been more in the past at a few different caps. They even experimented with a 4 table cap for a brief period of time. The 8 table cap has been in place for the last year and a half or so. I think it has been a pretty good cap. Not too little and not too much.

PLO cash game situation is pretty dire. I noticed a few new bots have popped up. It's increasingly tough to get games going as bots are just carving them up.

Right now at PLO .25/.50, 5 of 10 sitting players are bots, at PLO .50/1 9 of 16 are bots.

Lately there are fewer and fewer games even running. A couple months back there were nights when you could 8-table just PLO 1/2, now you might only have 6-7 tables if you mix .25/.50, .50/1, and 1/2.

It looks like BOL's indifference and taking the short-term gain of the extra rake provided by bots will only pay off for so long. Eventually the bots will have destroyed the eco-system and then when there are only mostly bots left, they will simply quit and nothing will be left.
