Maybe make this more obvious when trying to rejoin. Show the lower levels with a message like "cash out some chips to get back here".

Are the tables going to be resizable in the future?

People like me are willing to test your software for free. If we can play.
We think this is a pretty good idea, but it would mean restarting the current PnG, which we don't want to do.

What you can do, if you like, is cash out some of your chips to get back down to lower levels.

What if you could take part of your stack to a play n go table without cashing down to X? Like currently I have 650 chips and I see 10 players active but only 1 other player at levels 2 through 6 and he's sitting out. I assume half of the ten players are on level 1 still and half are 7+?

So in the mean time it would be nice if I could go back to level 1 and try to pound out a few chips. Almost makes me want to suicide my stack just to go back to level 1 with 50 chips and stay there til I have 2-3k. I suppose this will be less of an issue with an increase in players.

I feel ya, after you get 1k chips you are forced to move to level 2, but you can cash them out and go back....but if you leave the level 1 table with 501-999 chips you can't cash out and you can't sit back on level 1. Like you said it won't be much of an issue when there are more players so hopefully we will either change it or get more players....not sure which will come first.

Hi samdash

It sounds like a good idea to trial, but one problem might be that as new or busted players come to the level 1 table with only 50 chips (having watched two adverts immediately) the better players could keep buying in with 400 chips against them.

Perhaps if they are only allowed to buy back in to level 1 from level 2 if there are no games at level 2, and their chip balance is less than 1000, that would be a fix? Once the player reaches 1000, he has the options of choosing whether to cash out or wait for games at higher levels.

Of course, with this month's special promotion, it is probably a good strategy to keep cashing out at 1000 chips to clock up the coins. Normally, it would probably be better to keep the chips to move up the leaderboard.

At the moment, if you have, say, 1650 chips, and want to go back to play at level 1, remember to cash out at least 1150, or you'll end up with too many chips to play at level 1 and not be able to cash out again until you hit 1000 again.

Btw, you can see where the players are by clicking on the black arrow to the left of the Tournament number and scrolling down the Structure box. You can then click on the Level number to see who is playing.

Good luck at the tables, BUM.

According to Dean eventually you will be able to buy into a lower level with part of your stack.

Two main things so far:

I seem to have to constantly scroll down in the chat box to get to the latest info. It's a pain as I enjoy chatting.

Also, having crushed the 17-person 9PM tourney just now (ez game, imo), some sort of victory pop up would be nice. The game just sort of... ends. I bragged on Twitter anyway, but a screenshot people have to squint at and read the fine print doesn't really sell it, ya know?

We've seen the chat box bug, it's not supposed to do that (obviously!) and we'll sort that out as soon as we can.

Table messaging like "You won with a full house!" or "You won the tournament!" is coming soon. We're currently working on chat controls, four color cards, and other table options. Messaging will come very shortly there after.

Congrats on the win!

Is there supposed to be a chat box option on your phone?

We don't currently offer chat on the phone but it is on the to do list. It will probably be a slide out of some sort since it's not possible to fit it on a mobile screen legibly.

Awesome update today guys, thanks.

Not sure if this has been mentioned but can we get a beep sound when its our turn. I'm not talking about the time warning sound which you already have. I would like a sound notifying me as soon as its my turn.

Also I missed the first 30 minutes of the 10pm tourny today because the table didn't open when the tourney started.

And do you guys know about the bug where the bet slider moves back to min bet position, causing me and others to mistakenly min bet.
08-10-2018 , 09:16 AM
I would like to wish for the ability to break a chair or throw a bottle or punch a face sound effect please.

I am not sure how difficult it is to code but they had sound effects like this on JetSet Poker back in the day to relieve stress of bad beats. Buttons were on seat I believe. Maybe also, NOT instead of punchy, the ability to get food and drink like Paradise Poker.

Thanks. We intend to add an alerts only sound option soon. In fact, it's in the code and the dimwit that designed the UI for it left it out on accident. (That dimwit it me.)

We've discussed auto-opening tables, we'll discuss some more.

And we know the slider is not up to snuff, we're going to get on that soon.

I'm back!!

So, that's not actually the case. Our PnG tournaments were designed in a specific way to follow the letter and intent of the U.S. laws. As such, after taking a break from your tournament, you will always be required to resume the tournament exactly where you left off, with all of your chips in play. If you could pick and choose the size of your chip stack, then we'd be running ring games, which are not legal throughout most of the U.S. and require special (and highly complex) regulatory approval in the few states that allow it.

Having caught up on all of the 2+2 forum messages that I missed this past week, I see that this sort of issue has been discussed a few ways. In particular, people have suggested that we remove the min/max buyin limits for PnG levels. There are problems doing that as well.

But, there is one feature that we are going to implement very soon that should give relief to both of these concerns... multiple entries into PnG tournaments. By being able to have up to 4 entries in the same PnG, you can retain one entry with a higher chip stack and play on a secondary entry with a lower chip stack. Eventually you'll be able to split an entry into two different entries too.

One other thing we're working on to relive these issues is growing our user base. This will not only give players ample options at vaious levels for finding games to play in, but it will give us the ability to run PnGs with more exciting options.

Wow! A reference to Jet Set Poker. I'm surprised that you actually remember that site. Did they ever actually launch?

We really need a cash game style for the coins we collect. OR at the very least get the store up and running asap. the key for players to come is to be able to potentially make money, but we are all playing for free at the moment.

If you brought cash games into the stie using our coins, you would see much more people wanting to play cash games, take a small rake of the coins since they have value.

I'm so with you on this. The reason we can't play ring games with the coins is because like you stated, they have value and that would be considered gambling.

Hopefully we will have the store up soon and winnings will start to feel more real.

Please put a text overlay on the boxes of players who are "Sitting Out", so we can see at a glance which ones are active. Right now there doesn't seem to be any way to tell, except that they don't get any cards when the hand is dealt. The rest of the time you just have to remember which ones are actually away from the table.

Is there any way to resize the table yet (make smaller)? I am using Firefox and have tried on my Windows 10 laptop and Windows 7 desktop with 23" monitor, but no go. I like to keep a browser window and sometimes a Wordpad document for note taking (at minimum readable size), open on the screen along with the table or tables that I'm playing, but your table is too big on both machines to be able to do that easily. A table size roughly equal to a quarter of the screen would be great. And, since your lobby is a full size webpage rather than a smaller app size like other online sites, it completely covers the table when you access it during play. If it weren't for the warning sound when your overtime clock kicks in, I would have missed my turn several times.

Also, waiting patiently for the hand histories and hand replayer. I imagine that part is pretty complex, and I know that you've already said it's coming, so will try to be patient . Will they show the cards of mucked hands when multiple players go to showdown? That is pretty standard on other online sites.

So far I'm impressed with your progress and speed in responding to bug reports and getting stuff fixed quickly. Kudos!!
