The only thing you got correct is ugly. What a waste of time. Do NOT sign up here, ever !! Ads play every 5 minutes and it takes forever to sit at a table. Oh yeah, you sit at a table with 4 other BOTS. If that's the "poker" you want, then go for it.

Yes Ad's do play every 6 minutes, which fund the prize pools and while our user base is still very small, we have gotten some really wonderful loyal customers whose feedback is helping us refine the site. We are still early in our open Beta and we are working hard to make the site easier to navigate from all devices. I hope you can come back in a month or so and try us again.

Interesting model. Do you think this provides any value to ad providers? What kind of data are you using to target the ads?

We think we provide great value to advertisers. We directly grow the prize pool with each ad shown and we try to make it clear that we do this. This way users come to want to see ads and their head-space is better when they do so. The ad is no longer something to endure before your video begins (like on YouTube, for example), but something you can use to grow your chip stack or the tourney prize-pool. You're in a positive headspace when the ad comes up changing your relationship with the advertiser from almost adversarial to much more friendly.

On the other hand, we don't offer a lot of data value since we don't collect data to target our users with specific ads. The ad networks use non-user-specific date of their own for targeting like any other site but we have nothing to do with that.

what money? beta pays no money,just ads

Actually, that's not the case. Your coins will persist past beta and be usable in our store which we're working on now. It's a bit of a leap of faith, I get that, and if you're not comfortable with that (which is understandable) you can just come back after beta. We look forward to playing with you.

I see only nitty nit folks playin this, I want real money and different games. Holdem is so boring......gl. For me it so super tilting to play.
