November Promotion - Time Is Money November Promotion - Time Is Money

We're saying Thank You three times in November by running our easiest and most generous promotion yet. You'll win just by playing, even if you've got the worst luck and the least skill! Win 5,000 coins simply by playing over a certain amount in a given period.

And yes, you can win 5,000 coins in EACH of the three periods for a total of 15,000 coins in November.

Begins Ends Threshold
November 1, midnight ET November 11, midnight ET 600 minutes
November 11, midnight ET November 21, midnight ET 750 minutes
November 21, midnight ET December 1, midnight ET 900 minutes

But what's more, we're going to reward the players that play the most. The players who have accumulated the most minutes at the end of each contest win the following prizes atop their 5,000 bonus:
  1. 35,000 coins
  2. 25,000 coins
  3. 20,000 coins
  4. 17,000 coins
  5. 14,500 coins
  6. 12,000 coins
  7. 10,000 coins
  8. 8,000 coins
  9. 6,500 coins
  10. 5,000 coins

A bit of fine print and some tips:

We HAD been requiring you getting to the flop to win, we are no longer doing so. Just being seated will gain you time.

Double time is allowed! If you want to multi-table a Play & Go and a tournament at the same time, have at it. You'll earn time at EACH table.

As usual, if a contest ends at midnight on a date, that means that it runs through the entirety of the prior day. For example, a contest ending on midnight November 7 includes all of November 6 but none of November 7.

To participate in this promotion, you just have to play! No need to cash out and start over, no need to limit your play to the Play and Go games.

Head over to BigUglyPoker.com to get in the game!

Good Luck!

I understand your reasoning behind the flop rule but the site has become virtually unplayable. Certain players (Jungernaut among others) are literally timing all the way down for every single action to keep their clock moving. It's taking literally 3-4 minutes to play one hand. I guess I'll see ya guys next month.

Maybe number of hands dealt in would have been better, or just overall active time played.

i agree with villian1, this months promo is atrocious, i wouldnt even consider this poker, it is not skill based. there is no incentive to play good solid poker. all u have to do is see every flop and play very very slowly after that. there is no incentive to gain chips but instead, just get to the flop and almost time out at every hand. therefore, i wont be playing this month, hopefully next months promo will be better. c ya next month.

We hear your concerns and we've seen it ourselves at the tables. The worry is that, without the flop rule, we'd just have players folding every single hand to stay on the clock.

That said, we're prepared to remove the flop rule if the consensus is that it would help matters. Our goal is to grow the active player count with this promo but we certainly don't want to penalize our most active users.

So, what're your thoughts on pulling the flop requirement?

perhaps you should add another leader board for the largest chips stack race like you guys did in july. this would give players an incentive to play for higher stakes. just my 2 cents.

Well, besides what others have mentioned, it's currently about 2600 minutes into the contest and the leader has logged 1700. I have a day job so on that basis alone I can't win, or even possibly make the top 10. Not worth my while.

I might get into some tourneys now, however. But I will miss the play n gos this month, as the format itself is pretty innovative and enjoyable to play.

We've gone ahead and removed the requirement to get to the flop. You'll get time as long as your seated at the table. Or tables if you are in a tournament as well! Hopefully this will address the slow play issue. We'll keep an eye on things.

Maybe divide everything by 10 and run daily races?

As threebanger implies, once some players pull away from the pack there's a perception that it's a waste of time trying to catch up with them. With a daily race this can't happen, and it's quite likely that there would be 30 days of multiple players trying very hard to get to the top of the leaderboard for that day.

yes i agree, daily races would be better. BTW, is there any news about getting the bet slider glitch fixed any time soon/please fix it asap.
