I had the chance to check out skinny and blj playing together heads up this afternoon. I observed 40 hands, and saw no evidence of any collusion or chip dumping. They were betting and checking typically, with not even one AI. The stacks were relatively the same size at the end of 40 hands as they were when I first started watching.

I posted before that I hadn't seen them play together much. Earlier today though, I played for several hours with both of them and other players at a Lvl 1 table. That made it easy to compare how they act when they're both at the same table with a group to their heads up play. When they were HU, I saw nothing that even remotely looked like chip dumping; just a normal session between two competitors.

i am of the same opinion. i've played with BLJ21 since his first days on this site, and never got the impression that he was anything other than a poker player trying to find a good game. saw some previous speculation about BLJ21 and SkinnyB... chose to disregard those comments as probable nonsense. still feel that way.

This reallllly is pissing me off big time !!!

Okay, first of all I have nothing to do with what mompisan and santhiago do
please stop making accusations that I'm dumping chips

if you saw me playing with them and they did not give me any of their chips it should be quite clear to you that I am not part of what they are
I reiterate please do not accuse me of being committed to what that pair of players does
Thank you!

I didn't say you were dumping chips, just that you were at the table with them and I wasn't sure what that meant. In fact, while I made it clear that they weren't dumping to you, maybe I should have also said that you weren't dumping to them either.

Well, you've just confirmed that you are the same person as caldera, whose account we know was suspended by BUP because you posted about it here, but we don't know the reason. A lot of accounts that also just disappeared around the same time as your suspension were blatant chip dumpers, and it's generally believed that's why they're not around anymore, although we don't have confirmation.

Some other BUP players had posted that they believed caldera was among that group of chip dumpers. Since you decided to make a new account using basically the same name as before, even after letting us know your other account was suspended, it will take some time playing with caldera1 to be able to trust that you're really not a cheater or chip dumper. It makes it more difficult when you're seen at a table with suspected chip dumpers as they're dumping, as was the case here.

Make no mistake, a lot of us were pushed down unfairly in the leaderboard rankings by cheaters, and were very angry and discouraged about playing on the site because of that. So while it looked like for awhile that BUP management had cleared out the previous offenders, it seems we have some new ones to have to deal with, and we're not real happy about it.

Just to reiterate, all players should be aware that many of the members who were on BUP in December are watching for any signs of cheating or dumping, and are screen capping it and reporting suspicious play to management. We'll continue to do this until they deal with these ongoing issues in a much more timely manner, or probably some of us won't continue to play on BUP.

Today, I was sitting at a Lvl 1 table with mompisan35, along with other players. Twice during the session, I noticed that everyone but her sat out, so I did too because I didn't want to be playing her heads up. After the second time it happened, she left. I asked one of the chip dumping "watchers" at the table if this was something that had been planned, or just coincidence. He said, "just coincidence".

Then all of a sudden goodfella, who was also at the table, starting chatting in Spanish. I assume he was talking to me and it had something to do with what I had said, but I don't speak Spanish so I honestly don't know. Apparently no one else at the table did either or if they did they were playing on their phones, because they didn't respond. I tried telling him several times that I didn't understand, but he just kept on talking. Finally I just said, "Sry. I don't understand. I'm muting your chat now.", or something close to that.

I say BLOCK anyone's IP that has been caught with multiple accounts! This would definitely prevent them from coming back under new names! I feel they are just taking advantage because they have found a new site with some holes and I do believe management is working on it PLUS trying to run a decent poker site at same time.

just wanted to say im here and i support u guys vs BUP, my primary reason for leaving (at least for now) is the RNG, which is the only thing i really care about. Having said that, the multi acc., lack of communication, long delays on payouts etc etc is also a reason to stay away from the site. I really believed BUP was going to be bigger and better than the other free sites and looks like im the biggest sucker in the room. Heres hoping im wrong

Thanks for posting, frenchdefense, and for your support.

I had vigorously defended the BUP RNG to jwconrad in previous posts at the beginning of January. It seemed to me then, that the hands were pretty much on par with what I was used to seeing on sites like Merge, Poker Stars, and Bet Online, where I had played for many years. However, in the last promotion period, I also came to suspect RNG problems, although not the same ones that jw had mentioned. Why it was manipulated in the way I noticed never made much sense to me though. I didn't post about it here, and only mentioned it recently to a few others in chat, with varying reactions.

It's hard to prove or tell for sure whether the RNG is truly random without access to hand histories and 1,000's of them, and I didn't try to keep my own statistics. However, I played many hundreds of PNG hands over an average of 8 hours a day during the last two promotion periods. From about January 23rd on, I noticed that there were many, many more flushes being dealt/made than is statistically possible - about one in every five hands. With three suited cards on the board, at least one player made a flush around 90% of the time. Totally impossible with a correctly functioning RNG, especially playing 6 max.

I messaged the Help Center twice, asking if the RNG had been certified, but never received a reply. I also mentioned the huge amount of made flushes and two color boards I'd been seeing, and suddenly board composition appeared to return to statistically expected levels.

When i first played on the site maybe 4 months ago the RNG was fine, not many set up hands either. That all seemed to change last month. I know for almost certain free sites like NLOP and others have terrible RNG on purpose to 'even out the playing field'. I will be writing a blog on my tracking the equity on NLOP and despite a small sample size its large enough to prove the point that sites are afraid of losing their player pool if the equity runs true. Having said all that i still play on NLOP on occasion because its the worst player pool by some margin so one can overcome 'hands catching up' in the long run. I dont know if this is BUPs concept in the crap RNG but its strange how there is a marked difference to when i first started playing

Mompisan35 and santhiago STILL chip dumping today. I guess they figure with no one around to see them , they're safe, although they never cared before. I told them there's no reason to be doing that, since they'll probably never get paid for their winnings, but they didn't seem to understand or care. Whatever .

Yeah, not sure why you wanna do that to yourself Annie. BUP is clearly awol but keep us informed if there are any signs of life i.e. getting paid. Its sad they dont just let people know they are shutting down
