To kick this off, we are announcing that our upcoming UCOP (Universal Championship of Poker) in September will be the biggest that we have ever offered, with €1,000,000 spread across the 2 week series. Included in this is a €100,000 Main Event, with just a €110 Buy-In, on Sunday 23rd September.

Maybe could transfer some texas monster rebuy event to PLO8 Monster Rebuy event. I think that would be far more fun action format for shortstack play.

Hi, as previously mentioned PLO8 isnt available in the new Prima client so we decided to leave it off the schedule for UCOP.

Hello you guys should make the Initial Stack 10k, and the higher buy in 20K, like ipoker/acr/partypoker/pokerstars fr everyone is doing big stacks, and add reentries, and start in 25/50 5 antes, playing 10/20 15/30 without antes is 2010 no other poker site have it.
and for the normal schedule you guys should put the last 11r 500 lucky firecracker as a 5 rebuy

I would like that as well and love that it is like this on Party. Plus it might be enticing to recreationals as they would get to play with a big stack just like we see on TV when the world series is on

Bounty rebuy seems a strange idea, i guess it encourages looser play pre add on but after the add on whats the point in a 2 euro bouty for people who will be in the game for like 30 euro on average i guess and some for far more and then will be especially worthless once in the money.

I have just finished entering over 360 daily UCOP satellites into the system, which is a lengthy task. All the satellites are now live in the lobby, and you can register for them all. They kick off at 00:01 GMT this Sunday (19th August). There are both direct feeders and ticket satellites.

Direct feeders are clearly marked, and if you win one of these, you will be automatically registered for the target event, which you will be unable to unregister from, standard stuff.

Ticket satellites will give a generic ticket to whoever win these satellites. They can be used for ANY tournament with the same buy-in until UCOP ends (ie they can be used for the regular daily tournaments also, and of course can be used in other satellites). The satellite tickets will last until at least the end of UCOP, and you can check the expiry of the ticket in your account. And again, you can still use these tickets after UCOP ends (just make sure to use them before they expire!).

Starting this Sunday, is qualifying for the Main Event Freeroll. Play in at least 10 €11+ (Buy-In of €11.00 or higher) UCOP satellites from 00:01 GMT Sunday 19th August – 14:00 GMT Sunday 23rd September to earn your ticket. The freeroll starts at 14:00 GMT on Sunday 23rd September and it awards 3 seats (direct feeder) to the Main Event! It will be set up as an achievement, and once you earn your ticket you will need to register for the tournament yourself. Note that the €11+ satellites must have “UCOP” in their name!

Leaderboard prizes seem better than last time (did skip whole series as they really were not worth playing), but timing of this series is too bad for me. Probably playing bit of rebuys alongside my regular play, but that's it. Booster / freezeout (especially deepstacks) / current monster rebuy tournaments have about 0 appeal for me.

Personally I think that Sunday program is a bit too heavy. I am somewhat professional player, and 6 tables really is max for me and I would guess most recs too. Removing one tournament which lasts long would make great deal to fix it (for next series), probably 100+10€.

For me personally satellites seems too expensive considering their worth. I would never like to spend more than 15% of target tournament buy-in for a satellite. So 22r -> 215 and 22 -> 109 are certainly not for me. 11r -> 215 would be much more tempting.

Hoping for the best for series and I really you'll catch some players to play your regular tournaments. Gonna continue play those every night I play, albeit less often than now as I will concentrate on my studies.

Pity all five of the €5.50's are re-buys (could've thrown at least 1 F/O in there) and the only bounty MTT at €11 is a weird bounty/re-buy combo. Would've jumped in it if it was a straight bounty F/O like your offering at the higher stakes (which are beyond my current BR) but, not keen on this current weird version unfortunately...

Our €1,000,000 guaranteed UCOP starts on Sunday (9th September). We are guaranteeing over €100,000 for this Sunday, across 7 events.

Is this like I have to tweet 20 times each day or one tweet will suffice per day? And it is okay to add twitch link to the tweet?

Might be playing after all (problems with University). At least first few days and see how it will go there. Too bad streaming in twitch does not award extra points any more.

You can tweet as many times per day as you want! You will only get the 20 points for the first time though. To get the maximum points (300) you need to tweet at least once each day for the 15 days of UCOP.

Regarding streaming, if there is a lot of interest in such a bonus, it might be brought back at another series. It will not affect this series at all though

Another quick question: what will happen to extra tickets won to UCOP events?

Any ticket (seat) won to a specific UCOP event will automatically register you for that event. Should you win multiple seats to the same event, then please contact your Operator should you have an issue. They will will convert anything additional into generic tickets, which you can use for the series or after (check expiry date on these once they are in your account).

Any UCOP tickets won since the 19th August, until the 23rd September, can be use for ANY tournament with the same buy-in during UCOP (this would include UCOP events, UCOP satellites, and our regularly scheduled tournaments too). While we would of course prefer that they are used during UCOP, they do not expire at 23:59 on the 23rd September. Please check the actual tickets when you win them for their specific expiry date.

Player which regularly tweets about Microgaming poker series will get as many points as a player who wins 2 events of 100eur with 100 entrants each.

The first UCOP Event (€5.50 NLHE Turbo Monster Rebuy with a €5,000 guarantee) has just kicked off

For the last 3 days, we have been running €1 flips to each event, including the €215s - these start ~5 minutes before each event.

We have also been running 3 seat flips ~10 minutes before each event starts. These are for ~1/11th of the buy-in of the event, eg the €110 events have a €10 flip.

For the €55s, €110s and €215s we have also been doing a €1 or €2 flip into the main flip for the event. €1 (flip) -> €10 (flip) -> €110 event for example. These start 5-10 minutes before the main flip

All these UCOP flips have €0 in rake and there is no late reg. They are overlaying currently, so are great value

Also each day we are doing 5 seat guaranteed direct feeders to the €33s, €55s, €110s, €215s. These are proving to be very a popular way to get into the events for a lot less. We also have some really small flips to some of these feeders before the feeder starts.

The next €215 is on Friday and there is a €55 5 seat mega feeder into this too. You can qualify for it each day in the €5.50Rs and €11 FO direct turbo feeders. The event is #32 and has €15K guaranteed.

We have a €320 on Sunday with a €30K guarantee. This has a €55 10 seat mega feeder to it starting a couple of hours before the event itself. You can buy-in direct to this feeder, or satellite into it each day in the €5.50R and the €5.50 2R1A (€3.30 rebuys and addon) turbos.

We had an issue last night with Event 23 - the €33 Bounty. Unfortunately the bounties did not work and so it ended up playing like a normal freezeout.

This situation was fixed a few minutes ago, and the bounty amounts were paid out to players. The bounty amounts were from our pocket.

The 4 remaining bounty tournaments should not have this issue
