Yes, there are options. The table is the same but, you have options in regards to changing the look of the background surrounding it. The pic I posted is called 'fun view' and there are currently 4 backgrounds to choose from under that type of view. There is also the option to have a plain background (Only just discovered that one myself, whilst playing around with the options settings).

# Those black rectangle blocks you can see in my pics aren't normally there - that's just me adding them to cover up my details and balances etc...

Hi,

I still can't open any table on the new client, making it impossible for me to take part in the promotion running at the moment, that's kinda disappointing. Table is loading endlessly with "100%" displayed as mentioned before in this thread.

Am I the only one or do you still have players reporting that problem ?

I spoke to support (for my particular MPN skin - 32Red) about the same thing. I asked how I could change what was showing and was told I couldn't. You just didn't insist enough. It took me A LOT of time and numerous chat sessions to make them understand what I wanted exactly, but eventually they changed my location to "Anywhere" like most of people.
You just have to really insist and also getting lucky enough to have an agent that will understand and send your request to MPN, but that definitely can be done.
They also told me a lot of times that they couldn't change location at all etc. but either that's total bull****, either they changed their policy like a few months ago, but if that was done for me, why not for you ?

It was a while ago that I asked (straight after I opened the account and became aware of it) and I haven't tried to do anything about it since, simply because I haven't been playing on MPN. Now that i'm back playing on MPN again, perhaps I should try asking them again.

I don't particularly want to have to spend "A LOT of time and numerous chat sessions insisting they make changes" (as you stated you had to), in order to get this done though.

My comment about "it should be the same for everyone and either everyone has certain details showing or the option to hide them" still stands. This would save the players having to go through a lot of the hassles being talked about above.

I just went on live chat with 32Red support to ask about changing my location showing at the tables and again got told that, once it's set in the beginning - it's not possible for it to be changed.

I explained that I was told by other players that they we're able to have it changed by way of there skin support team putting through a request to MPN (as stated by ShowMeUrAce). Was told they we're unaware of this but, that they would put through a request to the poker team for me. I was then asked what I would like it changed to and I said "Anywhere" (like everyone else) LOL

Said they would update me by way of email once they had a response as to whether this could/would be done for me.

Will update the thread once, I get that response...

You're under contract with two entities when you play on MPN. Microgaming (the software's EULA) and your poker room (their Terms & Conditions). You should read both. However, I have never known a case where a poker room has punished a user for using software that is not a violation of the EULA.

There are still a few cases where this can happen, which we are actively working on. Our next update will resolve some of these issues.

Your poker room's support team can have this changed for you - honestly they can! If you struggle, PM me your poker alias and I'll get it changed.

That's why I told you to insist, if you get satisfied by their first answer you won't get anything because most of agents are there to help people on casino games and don't know a lot about poker because 32Red is primarily a casino (I'm also on 32Red for almost 3 years now and I know their support well by the time ).

It's kinda the same for every request I have because most of the time they simply don't understand what my request is, so I (politely) insist and usually things are done when it's possible

I know your currently in the process of developing software in order to be able to offer a wider range of games in your MTT schedule eg: re-entry's and KO/PKO (which upon completion, will no doubt provide a boost in player numbers) but, in the meantime I think you could improve things by getting rid of the extra rake your charging on re-buys.

I think the fact that the MPN MTT schedule is very 're-buy heavy' and that those re-buys are also raked, is a big contributing factor in low player numbers currently.

I play on other poker sites that offer re-buys, that aren't raked and if I was looking at which site to play on at any given time, I would choose other sites over MPN because of the above.

CPU in case it wasn't clear, hovering between 15-20% and makes my tables on all other clients lag as well. Have never tried this before and only have one table open on there (betsafe)

Still can't open any table on new client since 1 month of deployment.
I was literally barred from august promotion just because you're unable to deploy a functional client, this is shameful.
Trusted MPN for 3 years now but seems they took the path of stupidity as other operators... probably time to look elsewhere I guess.

Apologies for this. Turns out there were several ways in which this issue could happen and resolving some of them was quite challenging. We are currently testing the fixes and hope to release them soon.

In the meantime, you can also participate in the Prima Poker Missions promotion from your mobile device, or by using the browser version of the client. Both have the same features as the download version.

Issues like this are usually down to third party software - are you using anything that might be the culprit?

Hi Alex,

I'm a player from Malaysia and have been playing on MPN in the last 5-6 years. Today i'm forced to re-install my 1***** poker software due to some issue on my laptop, then only i realized that classic view version (previous version) is no longer available. I tried to play on the latest software and i have to be honest with you: the latest software is really very terrible and disappointing. I have encountered following issues:

-Unable to adjust bet sizing via bet slider or mouse scroll (this is extremely important for players regardless of they are regular and recreational)
-Seriously lagging when opening new table
-Connection Issue when playing Multi-table (i would face connection issues when i opened more than 2 tables, it has forced me to quit playing)
-The money did not came back to my wallet immediately if i got disconnected

I still have other issues but i mentioned the above as they are foremost to look at and some are also shared by other in this thread

And while MPN is solving the issues of the latest software, can at least a version which support the new client and classic view be provided ? I contacted 1*****, and according to them, the previous version is no longer available for download.

Kindly look at the issues. Look forward to your response.

At old client I can play 6 table at my 1080p notebook with perfect table sizes but this is impossible at new client.Table sizes are too bad and font sizes too small.What's wrong with those fonts even at 4 table its very hard too see those fonts.Do I have to play one table at full screen?

Unfortunately there is lots of missing important feature and issues at new client.I hope you can fix those things in time and please allow us to use old client until do that.Otherwise time the move on.

Agree. It's also one of the issues i face (Other than issue i mentioned in my previous post). I found that i can't customize the table size to accommodate 6 tables into one screen (In old client, we are not only able to customize it, but also able to set it as preference so we do not need to adjust the table size every time we start a new session). And as Archang3l pointed out, the font is terribly hard enough to see, i have to re-adjust table to bigger size to read the bet sizing, pot amount and remaining stack sizing. All these are really not user-friendly, let alone 'Enhance Playing Experience'.

All these problem only make me feel that MPN does not welcome player to multi-table.

Maybe it's really time to consider other network like Ipoker or Bodog. In my personal view, compared to MPN's old client, they certainly have a lot of room to improve in term of poker software and features, but at least they are stable and did not come out with some idea once in a while to 'make best poker software in the planet' but instead only make existing players frustrated enough.

well. to be honest i tried to play on new software for prima challage 2 times and i really hate it. it is indeed terribly scripted.. so i never opened it again,so iam missing the promotions aswell how fair is that in fact i deleted the new software.. and made a desicion. if we can still play on old software iam up or new software as close to the old software, aim up. other then iam goin to quit the MNP .and probably most of the players going to do the same thing.
