Best Practices? Best Practices?

Hi all - I am (finally) starting to play at the mid-stakes online (200nl/500nl Zoom on Bovada, ACR, etc.)

Given that I will now be playing for much more substantial amounts of money, I am curious what best practices any of you think I should implement in order to ensure that if I ever get accused of RTA, botting, etc. or one of my withdrawals goes bad, etc. that I have proof to back myself up.

So far, my thoughts are:

- Screen-record my computer during all of my sessions, as well as screen-record my phone during all of my sessions.

- Download copies of any and all emails, text notifications, etc. pertaining to deposits and withdrawals

What do other people on here do? I also think it might be wise to get a camera that shows my entire office to record my sessions, similar to what Doug is doing during the HU challenge.

Not leaving absurd amounts of buyins on whatever site you choose would be the first thing

Whatever you do, if a site decides to confiscate your funds, they're probably gone. Who you gonna call?

sixfour's advice is sound.

No need for all that extra security bs you're planning

Just keep balances low and play on

Seems like a lot of extra work for little to no reason.

Yes you should save all your communications with poker sites, but filming yourself because you are afraid of being accused of being a bot? A false positive is EXTREMELY unlikely and even if they tag you with one, all you need to do is record a session for security and voila, you have proven you can play 20 tables at a time and are human.

In other words, I think you are paranoid and recording everything is going too far.

Play well and good luck friend!
