I don't have the number of locked accounts to hand, but the stats I do have show that we refunded an average of €19k per month to players impacted by prohibited software in Q1 this year.

We are considering whether we should release a transparency report ourselves. The problem is that the €19k figure I just provided you, or a number of locked accounts, is meaningless without further context (is 19k a lot? A little? Nobody knows except us). So we are trying to figure out a way to share this information in a way that is meaningful and allows for comparisons with our competitors. We are still discussing this - if you have any thoughts on the matter I am keen to hear them.

On a personal level I'd like to know primary game types of the locked accounts (80% PLO cash, 10% MTTs etc) and maybe even broken down to stake ranges. 19k of refunds at 0.01/0.02 is different to me compared to at 5/10 in terms of the damage these bots are doing and at what stakes.

Exact financials are probably not that important. "Around $20k" is the same as "$21838.38" as far as I'm concerned. Whether that's 1% or 50% of your entire rake taken for quarter isn't really a benefit to the players IMO.

For me its more like getting it out, so its shows what the network is doing to fight against bots. The amount payed back should be there and how many bots/accounts were busted imo.

Maybe it helps the problem against botting and more trust will be created doing so. Which would be +ev for the network.

Has anyone actually managed to get a tracker to import the .dar HH file that MPN sends out? If so please post which tracker you've used, what version and how big was the .dat file.

I am pretty sure that current trackers wont take the hands. I got in contact with PT4 and they will probably enable import of MPN hands in their next release

I've been struggling to get my HH for 2 weeks and now you're saying even if i got them i couldn't even use them ?
At this point i'm just not even gonna bother to try and message them the 5th time since its such a ****ing struggle, feels like every time i try to contact the support they have no clue wtf is going on and like they've never heard about hand history files. All they say is they'll forward it to someone and after that i'll never hear about it again, unless i re-establish contact.

In a recent interview with PokerIndustryPro.com, the Microgaming Poker Network announced that they will once again be providing their players with full hand histories:

“We were wrong,” MPN stated on announcing the policy reversal. “With the best of intentions, we made a mistake, and so now we’re going to make changes.”

As reported by PokerIndustryPro.com, "While it wants to discouraged players “from using hand history data in a way that gives them an unfair advantage,” it stated that hand histories are important “be more transparent, and allow players to verify that we are doing a good job of keeping the games free of cheating

Is this true that HH will be available for cash games?

Not only is it true, it's already implemented.

Cash game hand histories are already available for all MPN cash formats (including Blaze and Anon). Once a week, players can ask their skin's support to send them their hand histories dating all the way back to 2013. In a future update, players will be able to make a HH request every 24 hours directly from the client.

There's an issue with third-party trackers not being able to import the HH yet, but that's being worked on by both the network and the third-party developers.

So I get the HH file but Hem2 cant do nothing about yet?

All I can you is that I've asked around and have yet to hear back from anyone who has managed to successfully import the HH file in their tracker. PT4 support told me their dev team is working on a solution and I assume the same holds for HEM.

Fwiw I did import a .dat file I received from MPN into my HEM2 (old version that does support their HHs) and it worked nicely...
Did not import into PT4 (my main tracker) tho..
But that works for me.. Since my goal is to review my own game..

You can have both Old and new versions installed on your PC
they use the same Database as well
Just can't run them at the same time...


Hint: when installing , choose a different installation location for one of them

My buddy just tried to register an account at Coolbet and 32Red. We are Germans, and both supports told him that Germans cannot play on either site. But some months ago, I was grinding ****loads on both sites. Is this new or did support just f*** something up? MPN Support also told him that the only sites that allow Germans to play are Betsson, Guts and Betsafe which can't be true at all, as I am playing on OTP just right now.

I am using HM2 aswell, but unable to import my files, just getting bunch of errors for every hand. Did you do anything special to import the files ?

No not really!
Just use the proper version of HM2 (the old one)

I did not say they were the only ones, they were the ones who replied to my question "who accepts German accounts"

I checked with the poker managers at Redstar, Betsson and Guts as well as 32Red, they all confirm Germany is ok. I just double checked with Coolbet, they changed policy recently and no longer accept new poker accounts from Germany, existing accounts are ok. One Time Poker just confirmed Germany is ok..
