Hi All,

As players are aware, there was an incorrect setup in tonight’s €22R €12,500 UCOP Event 33. This meant that players got 200,000 chips to add-on, instead of the intended 20,000.

We have fully refunded the buy-in and any rebuys made for the players who did not add-on (that were remaining in the tournament at that time). Each of those players also received a €22 tournament ticket. These refunds and goodwill tickets have already been placed into those accounts.

Due to the change in dynamics for the tournament, players who added on may feel like they were also affected. If you feel you are part of this, then please email your operator and it will be looked into.

Regarding the leaderboard, after a discussion with other members on the management team, this tournament will still count towards it. However, once the leaderboard is complete, we will also run it for how it would have ended up if this tournament was not counted. Any player that was adversely affected will receive a goodwill gesture.

I ran the numbers on this and there was no change of any places for the top 20. The highest placing that changed was 21st & 22nd, which would have flipped spots.

We will (most likely) have another UCOP type series sometime in 2020. This year we had one in Jan/Feb (UCOP Passport) and also April (UCOP Vegas). We do not have the dates or details yet, they will be posted once we do.

In my opinion, and I believe that everyone else in the team's opinion, this UCOP was a success. We awarded over €1.15M across the €1M gtd 94 events, overlay was well within the limits and unique players was up a good % over UCOP 2018.

We will be running an MTT (and a separate SNG) leaderboard promotion in November. I will post more details very soon.
