I was playing a fast-fold poker game yesterday thinking that there are a bunch of players who take forever with their decisions, which sort of defeats the purpose of the fast-fold nature of the software for players like me who only play 1 or 2 tables.

While I was playing at the $10 limit, a regular had a stack of $100, which is pretty big at that limit. He had other chip stacks of various sizes when I was playing my 2 tables, telling me he was playing many multiple tables. The $100 caught my eye.

Anyway, I was involved in hands at both my tables and this player was sitting at both with $100 stacks that were within a couple blinds of each other. It seems really unlikely that he had run up that much on more than one table, so it led me to wonder: Does the software allow a player to sit at two tables with the same chip stack? It can't, because a player with a small stack could be all-in on two tables and unable to cover the bets at both. He must have already folded one of the hands at one of the tables and been placed at the other one in order to show up simultaneously at both. Had I known which table this player was seated at second, I would have known he had already folded his hand at the first.

Now imagine you have opened up so many fast-fold tables that you are sitting at most of the tables running. You are able to exploit the players who play one table because you can see them sit down at a new table and know that they have already folded their hand at the other table. What effect does this knowledge have on your win rate?

I think there should be a limit on the number of fast-fold tables you can play in the same player pool, preferably one table. That will speed up the game. If you want to play more fast-fold tables, open up a table at another limit with a different pool of players.

I typically play tournaments on Bovada only, and I've noticed that every time near the bubble it literally takes two or more (four levels tonight in the $250 tournament) levels to play like 5 hands.

Why aren't online sites doing hand for hand like live venues where they pause the clock and run it off a reasonable amount of time per hand? Kinda sucks when you get to the bubble with a 20BB stack and then next thing you know you have 8. Do other sites do anything different at all?

Edited to Add: I'm a live guy who is very new to online poker with the pandemic so maybe this is just something I should start thinking about more.

Just wanted to ask - how is a poker tournament considered a world championship? Is it only WSOP or can any tournament get that name? Pretty cool ha?

Like any other competitive endeavour, I expect anyone could hold a world championship tomorrow if they wanted to. It's not like there's some regulating body that certifies whether my world poker championship, baking championship of the galaxy, or multiverse tiddlywinks championship is legitimate. As long as I'm not infringing on any copyrights/trademarks or advertising misleadingly/fraudulently, I can't see how anyone would be able to stop me. Of course, a championship without widespread acceptance of legitimacy within the field would be pretty worthless.

So I decided to come back to poker after 13 years. I used to be a supernova at stars back then, that’s why I wanted to give it another try on stars, playing some small stakes to get back into the game.
What I found annoying: Stars used to have a superb customer service. These days I had a question and was not able to ask them. I just found this bot thing, which didn’t understand my question.
Before I leave the site again simply for that reason, I want to play at least the freerolls for my deposit. So I did get 0,5$ Spin & Go tickets, and there should be 1$ Spin and Go tickets tomorrow as well. My problem is: There seem to be 0,25$, 2$ and higher buy in Spin & Gos on Stars only. How can I play these 0,5$ ans 1$ buy ins? I can’t find them.

The 0,5$ are the ones where you see "ticket up to 5000$" on the spin and go section.Or you can just go to lobby/my stars/tickets -> click on tickets and you see from there.The 1$ section is on the spin and go section,you cant miss those.

hi! my account was blocked more than 4 ago by a mistake and the support usually takes more than 1 month to answer me each time.... i wouldnt like to lose the opportunity to play these big events of blowout series...

I always had poker stars as my so-far-preffered-poker-software... because of the excellent offer of tournaments and their very good structure. And, also, because PS support used to be the fastest and most comprehensive support about all the matters and issues. It's sad to realize it has changed a lot. I asked few other players close to me and all of them said the PS support is often taking a long time to answer.

More than 4 is a lot. Or not much. It really depends.

The worst is because they are takin more than 1 month to answer me each message.

Did i post my issue in the wrong session? They moved it to here...but im affraid here there is no spotlight at all...so most people wont see it

I've recently returned to the online felt after many, many years away. I wasn't very good when I stopped playing but was working on improving and hand tracking was an important part of that.

However, it seems most, if not all, of the sites have banned tracking and HUDs softwares.
