Been trying to get in contact with PokerStars for about 3 weeks now about my account, it has been restricted and I'm told I need to withdraw the money in there but then when I go to withdraw it says I cant because I'm restricted.

Anyone else had the same?

They opened my acc today. Fortunately I deposited only 25€ as the SCOOP events I wanted to play took place yesterday. Furthermore the problem with freezing gameplay still occured for me.

Hello everyone! My name is Roman, playing on PokerStars under screenname Jumbleboy. 1st of May 2020 I received a massage from site regarding account check. Recently played high stakes cash games and heard some stories that security checks newcomers for game integrity.

I replied quickly to all questions and recorded video the next day they asked it.
Since then didn’t hear any news from Pokerstars, although sent a bunch emails and messaged them on twitter. Still no reply. Im asking to give some news on investigation terms.

The short version: You're just going to have to be patient or play elsewhere in the meantime.

My screenshot of the paypal account keeps getting rejected by Pokerstars and they dont answer why. Can anyone show me an example of an acceptable paypal screenshot for account verification please ?

My account on Pokerstars is also temporarily restricted because of me and my girlfriend playing in the same tournament. She entered after me busting, thats not looking great I know. But we have the accounts for years now and we live together. Its obvious we are two persons and they have all the documents they need to see that. We didnt intent to cheat.

In all the social media, there is plenty of people complaining about their account get frozen and no one have an answer from the support...

Some for 2 months and others for weeks now

i sent an email with all the documents to verify my account to "support@pokerstars.com" and "security@starsaccount.com" the 6th of May and still no response...

i get a DM from PS in twitter yesterday the 12th :

There is a gentleman here - his name is lagtight - who does not believe online poker is rigged, but yet he disbelieves Newton, Einstein, Darwin, Aristotle, Pythagoras, and any other name in history you care to name (he will deny this, but he does). What do you think about that?

I was playing on pokerstars when a message came up saying that my account was restricted while PS did some routine security check.

Maybe an hour later another message came up saying that the checks were completed and temporary restrictions on my account has been lifted.

So I try to register for a tournament and it says something like "your playing privileges have been revoked, please contact CS"

I do this and get an email back about responsible gambling (I guess after 3-4 years of hardly playing at all, my recent volume looks very high, and I have set some limits on what I can play) which runs me through all the tools on the site and says "out of an abundance of caution, your account has been temporarily disabled until we hear back from you"

Well, they have heard back from me but my account is still locked, and they have not responded by email either. I've tried speaking to them on twittet too and get zero response.

I was really hoping to play some tournaments on Sunday, but that is looking unlikely and I'm getting quite concerned about my account ever being reopened since they don't even reply to me.

I'm not sure what anyone here can do to help, but any ideas? Do any PS reps that can help roam these forums?

I know that they're busy with lots of queries, but I feel like when they block my account (for not really a great reason, although I get it) and say it will be reopen when I respond, they should probably reopen it when I respond!
