Carl, you're basically accusing click of being a shill and alt account. I hopefully wouldn't qualify as such.

I've been playing almost exclusively on Pokerbros Diamond Union since the shut down and have been consistenly winning, minus a few drunken punts. I just cashed out 2k earlier today and received my $ in under 12 hours.

There is cheating going on everywhere, but when you compare it to sites like ACR that allow bots and constantly crash, I'd take PokerBros every time. Plus, the skin/club I play with, I found out about from playing live with the owner. They started on PPP and migrated to Bros. Never once had any issues with them, and they offer support ACR could never dream of.

I really think it just depends on who your agent it. There are, undeniably, some shitty agents out there. I don't think there's more cheating there than any other online site.

I wasn’t even getting into agents being shady. That’s a whole diff topic with potential issues like you mentioned.

I’m talking strictly from a cheating standpoint. I’ve found no other site / app that allows such blatant cheating to go on. Period. You can not compare it to anywhere else.

If I had 2 accounts on stars and was colluding it wouldn’t be long before they spotted me. Here, it’s a cash grab.

I’m not here to tell people what to do with their lives. If you want to play there go for it. I was simply responding to people asking about collusion. I made my point. If people want to listen or even use what I demonstrated to cheat themselves, so be it.

You just havent played on many apps then. Period.

Stars will always be cleaner than any other app.

Compared to all the other apps i have seen this one seems very reasonable in rgds to collusion. Why? Because people tell me if somethings going on. In the hightime on PM you got 10 reports per day minimum. Some apps were even worse.

Here i havent heard a single complaint in months. Vast majority of regs win with a good clip. Will there be collusion? Sure, but for now at least in the big unions it seems fairly minor bc i don't see players complain about it at all...

If it were to be permitted, this isn't really the forum for that kind of thing. This forum is for discussion of online sites, specific issues, questions, etc. I think what you're talking about is more suited for one of the strat forums - if a regular poster in a strat forum wanted to get some of his fellow community members into a game, that might be OK, but only if the moderators of the forum in question approved.

If you just want to solicit strangers to get into a play money game, I have to be honest - I'd question your motives. Lots of play money sites already exist; why would you need to solicit strangers for a new game?

Long time lurker, first time poster here.

Background on myself - I have been playing poker, 6max cash games primarily, since 2008. Donking around for the first couple of years but poker has been my primary source of income since.

Recently I have moved the majority of my volume to Party given their rakeback and leaderboard structure was appealing. I have however found myself on the losing end of a 180k hand sample to the tune of around -8bb/100. Having downloaded the hands and sifted through them over the course of a week there seems to be an inordinate amount of situations where there could be potential for collusion. I should mention on Stars/Ipoker I'm winning this year over 320k hands at 6bb/100.

Given hands on Party are downloaded with player names as anon it's near enough impossible to pin aliases to this. So for the past week I have been playing less tables, taking physical notes of names on a separate document and sure enough a group of names appear a lot more frequently as others. I've known most of them to be regular grinders in the pool but after chatting with others in various Skype groups it appears that most of them belong to two staking stables, one of which actively posts on here.

I can't say for certain here but it would appear that at the very least something very unethical is going on and I would implore anyone looking to deposit on this site to proceed with caution.

I am posting this to give others a fair heads up and have no intention of replying past this point as I will myself be taking this issue further. Although I am looking forward to some of the aforementioned stables horses posting in the thread.

I want to tell you my story ( It’s probably the story of thousands of other people ) on how Pokerstars doesn't care about it's players and how if you have any issue, you will not get any kind of support from them or if you are lucky you will receive a copy/paste template response.

Anyway, I'm a low-stakes MTT recreational profitable player. I have a full time job as a software developer, but recently due to COVID situation and being locked inside my house I started playing more low-stakes MTTs on Pokerstars.

In the past two months while at the tables the software connectivity started to lag while playing. I have to admit that it was not happening every day.

It started with losing all the chips or being sat out at the tables and other people benefiting from my chips. For some MTTs I was given the money back, but for some that I was in the money I never received anything.

I was obviously annoyed by the hours and the expected value I lost, but stupid me always said “It’s okay, it's just a few dollars. It doesn’t matter. They are gonna fix it. There is no way Pokerstars as a platform can have such bad software for their users. They are a regulated gambling company with lots of responsibility towards their users”.

As a lot of you know, it never stopped and SCOOP 2020 came. 85 Millis for the total prize pool and I told myself that I need to try my chance.

I registered on Thursday, 30th of April, in SCOOP-02-L 22$ and SCOOP-02-M 215$.

What happened right after it started? I lost all my time bank for both tournaments and I lost a few blinds, but who cares, right? I was frustrated and annoyed and what did I do?

I sent an email to the support team. Did I receive any response? NO.

What stupid me did? Continued to play the SCOOP events with the same issues, but then I thought it’s better. The Pokerstars platform was lagging, but I was at least able to check, bet, fold etc. I was always afraid that at any moment I might lose money again.

Unfortunately, for me that’s not all. What made me write here happened Monday, 4th of May.

This Sunday, I played some SCOOP tournaments again and after 9 HOURS I managed to pass on the second day of the 109 Warm Up SCOOP.

I was happy and sad, because I lost a few flips before the end of the day, but I won in the past tournaments from 1 blind left so I thought that I can always come back from almost 5 blinds.

Monday came, 20:05 EET came, and guess what happened? The tournament started, but I was not able to play. It was taking like 30-40 seconds for a simple fold. I did the stupid mistake to think that maybe I can restart the platform fast and go back to the table with no issues.

You probably already know what happened. I never managed to get back to the table, and my chips were divided probably between the people who won my sit out blinds.

Frustrated and angry I wrote an email to the support team, but I don’t know what I was expecting. They did not answer any of the previous support emails.

I wrote on Twitter ( Both tweets and direct message ), but they did not respond, of course.

Then I wanted to live chat, but I was not able to see the option when you click on Software/Connectivity issues or other similar issues.

I told myself that maybe they have the live chat option enabled for deposit issues ( Of course, they don’t want to lose money, right? )

AND THEY HAD IT ENABLED.

Chat opened and I stated my last problem and the lady in the chat said that she has to speak with some experienced poker manager or something like that.

I waited for a few minutes and here is her response:





She basically said “WE DO NOT CARE THAT YOU LOST ALL THE 9 HOURS THAT YOU PLAYED AND ALL YOUR 5 BLINDS AT THE TABLE. YOU WERE ALREADY IN THE MONEY.”

I said that it’s not possible . “THEY STOLE MONEY FROM ME AND GAVE IT TO OTHER PEOPLE AND THOUGHT THAT IT’S FAIR.”

I want you to think as a poker player:

How would you react if you would play on a platform that would make a player have more chances than you. Would you still play there?

I guess the answer is no, but then why do people still play on Pokerstars?

I don’t think there are any other words to say here, but it could have been you or any other person.

And it actually is. I read that a lot of Eastern European Players are affected by their software.

Some people might say . “You may have lost a few hundred dollars. Get over it.” or “Do not play on Pokerstars.”

I will answer that it’s okay, I will survive with the money lost, and I will not play on Pokerstars in the following period or maybe never.

Some of you might also know how Pokerstars contributed to Black Friday in Poker and what they were doing to allow people to play illegally on their client and how they were paying them.

I want you to imagine also what was happening before COVID on Pokerstars ( Players number decreased, guaranteed prize pool decreased, I’m not familiar with cash rake, but I know from playing a few home games that’s very high )

I guess it proves that Pokerstars doesn’t care about what happens to the players or the games. They want the money ( rake ) at any cost.

Some of you might say that, because of the COVID situation the platform can’t handle so many players.

That’s okay too, but why do they let people play if their server capacity doesn’t allow it?

Pokerstars can find any excuse, but it doesn’t have any. They just don’t care about the players. They only care about making money with whatever cost.

And they will continue to lose customers when the COVID situation will finish around the globe, but till then their broken poker client would have stolen millions from poker players.

The issue I had might seem like a small one, but I had friends that waited for more than 1 month to have their accounts verified even if Pokerstars allowed them to deposit money. Why would you allow someone to deposit money and lock the account?

I never had withdrawal issues, but even the fact that you can’t withdraw your own money after 24 hours from your last deposit is dodgy. It’s my money, why can't I withdraw when I want?

I can understand that some of you might make money there, but there are too many issues and one day they will be a jerk with you.

At this moment I feel that any issues you have ( software, deposit, withdrawals etc ) if they don’t want to solve it or if they do not want to respond, you cannot do anything.

Literally, anything. Waiting and complaining would be your only solution.

Your money is in their control. You would expect more from a company that it’s regulated by gambling authorities, but unfortunately it’s not.

I will continue to formulate a complaint to the Romanian authorities and if I receive a response I will post it here.

OK. So it looks like something went wrong with the transactions. My bank account confirms that three deposits of 500€ have been made, 2 through sofortüberweisung and 1 through Skrill. Meanwhile I cannot withdraw the last 500€ nor play with it.

My guess of what happened is that there was a sofortüberweisung which wasn't completed (not subtracted from my bankaccount, nor added to my pokerstars account). This transaction was seen and they decided to subtract 500€ from my account, giving it a negative balance. This closed down my "playing privileges". They notice it's a mistake and put back 500€ on it, but forget to reinstate my playing priviliges. Only THEN do I make the Skrill deposit into a locked account.

So to me it seems that entirely outside of my own fault, my account has been locked and I have 500€ floating in limbo. Now, mistakes happen and that's all fine, but I have been waiting for over a month for this. I have sent a few e-mails if they can at least confirm that they are investigating or whatever. No reply. Looking around on threads around here, I decided to be patient. But maybe posting this publicly will help speed things up, who knows.

Sorry, you're just going to have to wait if you want that money back. If you believe they're being unreasonable and you want to escalate your demands, then you have the option to formally demand the return of your money.

-Include the date you are sending your letter
-Request the return of your money within a specified period (7/14/30) days as you deem appropriate
-Include your real name and home address

-Inform the company that if they do not return your account balance, you will contact the Maltese Small Claims Court (balances up to €5,000)
-Photocopy the letter after you have signed it and before you post it, and send a scanned copy of the letter to support@starsaccount.com

Ideally, they will return your money.

If not, if you live in Germany, then may be able to use the Maltese Small Claims tribunal to demand the return of your money.

The goal of course is to avoid the court process. The goal is to get you your money back, not to go to court. If the money is truthfully owed to you, the company is likely to give you your money back to avoid the risk of dealing with this in the small claims court.

I always wondered how the shuffle works on stars, is it shuffled at the start of the hand and dealt out or is it being constantly shuffled thought the hand and every card is generated at the instant it is dealt? I asked stars support and below is their response.

Would be interested to hear your thoughts on if this is good for the game/ security.

To copy real-life poker as much as possible, we use a static shuffle. This means once the deck is shuffled, it is set, and the order in which the cards are dealt cannot be changed. Additionally, the cards are not reshuffled continuously all through a hand, and those that come out on any given round are totally independent of any player action.

Not only does this mean the shuffle on our site is just like at a live casino (the cards are shuffled and then dealt) it also gives you confidence that it is impossible for us to generate so-called 'action flops' or biased rivers. Since the order of cards is pre-determined prior to player actions, it is impossible for our server to predict future player actions and favor particular players. We feel that this confidence is important to fair and honest poker games.

My Pokerstars Account has been "restricted" and Pokerstars support has not responded to any of my emails for the last few months.

In case I do not get a response from Pokerstars within the next few days, what other options are there left in order to withdraw my money.
