While I think it is not happening, people sometimes theorize that poker sites are using their player base to mine for bitcoin/altcoins. I am wondering if any of the people who have knowledge about operating poker sites think that this could be an idea for a new poker site. If sites were able to utilize players to mine for crypto, rake could be eliminated or reduced, similar to what the sites with advertisements do. What do you all think? Sorry if this has already been suggested/discussed a bunch.

I think you would probably get more feedback if you asked in one of the Bitcoin or crypto dedicated threads. Questions asked in Zoo Chat don't typically get as much feedback.

I'm not aware of a site yet that has been able to replace a conventional rake with advertisements - the revenue isn't even close. I'd suspect it would be the same with mining, but I'm no expert on that. MCA is right that it would be best to ask in one of the Bitcoin/crypto threads.

It's not impossible to do something like this, but:

a) the financial returns of using ordinary home computer equipment (let alone mobile devices) would be literally trivial;

and

b) it would use a whole lot of computer processor power; it would be very obvious to users that their PCs were being used like this;

and

c) without disclosing it to consumers, it would be obviously illegal. I can't imagine that it would be popular if you disclosed it.

20 days ago i decided to self exclude me from playing for 7 days.

after this period had finished, i tried to login again. then the message occured that my account is frozen. since then i wrote a tons of emails to the support, but nobody is reacting.

i wrote to all email adresses, reached out on twitter etc., but no reaction.

does anybody have an idea how to get my account reactivated?

I do have fever sores, herpes of the lip. Had that since a teenager. Most commonly passed on as a child from adults kissing babies, not sexually. You can look that up. And if I got it from sex as a teenager, good for me.

The aim of this paper is to describe the seroepidemiology of HSV-1 and HSV-2 in female sex workers in London by using a 15-year prospective study of 453 sex workers. We show that a cohort of sex workers with extensive condom use and little known sexually transmitted infection have high levels of HSV-1 and HSV-2 infection, suggesting that condoms may not be universally protective. Sex workers are candidates for HSV vaccine efficacy or intervention studies.

The problem, besides possibly giving them fever blisters, is when you go down on these 500 women you put them at risk of getting your HSV I in the genital region.
