This week i had a challenge called "BetStars $10000 Freeroll"

You had to bet 10$ on sportsbetting to get a ticket (promotion ends tonight, tournament is tomorrow)

Because only 216 players are registered so far i thought it's great value, now i read in the tournmant details (wasnt visible clearly anywhere else) that the tournament only starts with a minimum of 500 players, so it seems it will be canceled and stars saves the money, but made hundred players bet 10$

no compensation at all?! wow

Never thought pokerstars could become even worse....

Here is my challenge window, no word about 500 players minimum needed, it says bet 10$ on minimum odd of 2.00 and you receive a ticket for the 10k freeroll.

It looks especially dodgy in German- "sichern" means to secure, to make sure of. How can it be secured when the tournament isn't even certain to take place?
There are far better poker rooms.

They had the same 500 player minimum on Cheltenham promotion last week and it fell short of that amount of players, so they changed the minimum to 50 or so before the tournament started.

No need to worry yet.

Lol @ “gambling authority” in Germany.

I totally understand when people complain about their tournament getting canceled without any prior indication that might happen. I kinda agree with people who complain about their tournament getting canceled even though the fine print said that might happen. But complaining before the tournament even gets canceled just because there is some fine print that says it might happen and they didn’t read it before signing up?

I wish there was a site that isn't shady. it gives poker and the players a negative look. they are killing the game from regs and potential new comers.

This tournament will run, whatever the number of entrants. The "500 minimum" was an oversight.
