Hey everyone, sorry if this has been covered before.

My brother in law and I are going to be driving from California to Vegas to his timeshare to play the WSOP.

Are we allowed to play in the same tournament while sharing the same wifi?

Thanks for your help

Just email them to be safe and then at least you have some record of approval if something did come up.

We do not allow players who are on the same IP address to play at the same cash game table or in tournaments.

Hi everyone. This is my first post on 2+2. Im so disappointed with being given the run-around that I was actually compelled to make an account just to post on here for help.

So I'll be playing this years online WSOP. My plan is to set up an account on WSOP.com, deposit money, get a hotel room, and play the tournaments in my room there on the hotels wifi. Is that too much to ask?

But Ive already run into a few snags that hopefully you guys can help me out with.

#1) Ive successfully created my account on WSOP.com. Check. Now Im trying to deposit some money ahead of time. But no matter what I try, it wont let me. First off, I live in California. Am I ALLOWED to deposit while Im physically in CA, without actually playing? Ive tried ACH, and Credit Card, both got decline for some reason. I called my bank to see if they could lift the restrictions, and they said they see no history of anything getting declined, and that there are no restrictions, so I should be able to deposit if I want to. Can someone possibly explain why this wouldnt go through? Is this normal?

2) If I cant deposit the money in my account online, Im seriously considering just using their "Cash at the cage" option. My question is, has anyone done this before? Im assuming you just give them your WSOP account info, hand them the cash, and boom, its in your account, no? Is the money in there immediately if I go this route? Does it take a day or 2 to process? Id hate to use this option, then go up to my room ready to register, only to find that itll take a few days before I can play.

3) How safe/reliable do you think it would be to play these tournaments on hotel wifi in Las Vegas? Probably a casino like Paris, or Caesars, or Ballys. I just want to make sure that once all the money gets where I need it to be, I wont have any issues with actually PLAYING once Im there. Are there any other unforeseen issues Im not thinking about that I need to take into consideration? Any tips on how to just make things go smoothly and reliably, so I can just focus on playing?

Sorry for the long post everyone. Greatly appreciate anyone who reads the whole thing and follows through with some help. Kinda bummed out about the postponement of the live WSOP, but this is still better than nothing I guess.

Thanks all!

The cash-at-cage option is by far the best deposit/withdrawal option. Just use that once you're here and your money is instantly credited to your account. I use the cage at Caesars because they seem to know what they're doing best, but you can try other cages if you wish.

Maybe you can't use those deposit methods because your listed address is out of state, not sure.

I don't know how they do their hotel wifi as far as if you are getting the same IP address as many others, etc. but I did see someone posted on twitter saying a pop up came that said someone else on same IP address was already in that tourney, so couldn't register.

So if 2 people were in the same Starbucks and 1 was already in a particular tournament, you couldn't get in that same one from that same IP.

Maybe each floor in a hotel has a different IP so it shouldn't be a problem, not sure.

But yea, cash at cage goes thru right away. Make sure to use bonus code.

It won't work on the same wifi, but it should work if one of you is on your phone and the other is on wifi. You also should be able to use your phone as a hotspot.

Does anyone know why wsop.com does not have any sponsored pros like most of the other sites do?

Currently in CA, considering going to Reno, NV, to play some of the WSOP online. How quickly are ACH deposits processed? If I arrive on Friday and deposit, would the $$ be posted to my account by Saturday? If not, is there a way to deposit outside of NV in advance?

ACH is instant but you will have daily/weekly limits. I used to live out of state and have deposited from out of state and played from my hotel room without any issues. I have heard of people running into problems because someone else in the hotel is on the same IP address and therefore they are restricting them from entering the same tournament. That would be the biggest risk I think.

Is WSOP not offering a reload bonus atm? Usually there's reload page under the promo page but I can't find a current reload bonus. Anyone know if there's another place to find one?

It looks like some kind of mystery offer on deposit thru the 28th.
The series starts July 1st, they will have deposit bonuses for that most likely.

I just did my ACH deposits with no problem for the upcoming WSOP next month.

FYI tho it said they had a $3k ACH weekly rolling limit for me. Not sure if that is going to be applied to everyone. I'm glad I decided to start depositing early.

Here is what I found searching the internet on craping sites:

10FREE - $10 no deposit bonus, up to $1,000 bonus on the first deposit
RELOAD400 - 100% up to $400 reload
ONLINE20 - 100% up to $500 reload
POKERMAX - 100% up to $1000 reload & two $5 blast tickets
BONUSSEEKER - $20 Free $400 1st Deposit Match + 7 Freeroll Tournaments

I'm not sure if the last one is legit.

Let me know if anybody has seen any other better ones. I couldn't find any more on social media. Thanks

i dont think anything other than the first deposit bonus is active but i could be wrong.

New development, chat is now appearing as just 3 ... regardless of what you type

I can confirm the middle three are active, I just used them all. I found a few another old promo codes that were not. The WSOP client will tell you if they are inactive before you are finished with the deposit.
