I was at an industry event in 2014 where I was seated next to a WSOP.com rep. I started to tell him about bugs in the stud software that affected game play. He interrupted me and said something like:

I'll stop you right there. We don't give a **** about stud.

After that, I imagined 100% of all customer suggestions end up in the recycle bin.

I think Caesars is a great company that gets so many things, especially customer service, right at its B&Ms. I write about many great trip reports to their properties, pointing out quality attributes. Sadly, that just is not the case at its online poker site.

2. The satellites are routinely getting canceled, because players are turned off by the bad structures, unnecessarily long rebuy periods, and the fact that you are not allowed to unregister if you win a seat.

3. Although I'm up nearly $500 from May 1st, I seriously think the site might be rigged to dish out unreal numbers of bad beats against targeted players. This makes me uncomfortable to even consider jumping into the higher buy-in MTT's.

4. All the above might be intentionally planned to turn away solid grinders, and lure players to play Blast, which is a quick rake-earner for the site.

If no change is made soon, more players will find the site unplayable and leave for good.

1 and 2 are good points... 3 im sorry is ludicrous. They wouldnt risk the integrity of their site over poker. They make much more money in the online casino. Why risk your gaming license.

"It's rigged but I'm winning anyway" is one of my favorite online poker conspiracy theories.

those 5$ and 7$ RA's can suck it

4.5 hours to make the money which is break even (+5$ish) if you're in for a bI+RB+AO.

like 6 hours+ to a final table.
i dont hate my life this much.

Yeah this is terrible. I'll be done after the summer series if it doesn't get fixed.

They overlayed almost 5k in the Saturday $11r $22k gtd this week after overlaying 2k in it last week. Whoever is running the show has no clue how to make a tourney schedule.

Haven’t played wsop Nv since last time I visited. I assume the answer is no, but is there a way you can get a new screen name from the last time you played? I’ll be in Vegas next weekend and was going to play the online event and wanted to make a change.

Another question, if I drive to NJ this Friday, can I play the $565 PLO bracelet event online? Or is it ONLY for NV

Just called NJ support and was told you can play the bracelet event. Woohoo!
Hope the WiFi doesn’t suck at the hotel! See you all on the virtual felt

I was in Vegas for a week and created a new account on WSOP (I'm from Jersey but had never created a WSOP account). Now I'm back in Jersey and realizing I can't log in with the account I created. Contacted support and was told 1) I need to create a new account and can't use the the username I used in Nevada and 2) There is no way to transfer funds from one account to the other.

Can this be possible? I thought most sites prohibit multi-accounting, but it seems like WSOP is requiring it - I live in Jersey so would much rather have my the username I use on every site (including this one) for my Jersey account. Also, does that mean I need to return to Nevada to withdraw the remaining funds from the other account? Can this really be how they set their system up!?!? Is this likely to change over time as they work out kinks from the merge?

When I got back to NY I had $ in NJ a few years ago. You can still log in and request cashouts. Just can’t play. I would 100% assume the same for Nevada

I like how the structure sheet for the online PLO event:

http://www.wsop.com/pdfs/structuresh...1487_16447.pdf

...has a link to the mobile app that you can't use to play it (and doesn't say so).

Truly a Mickey Mouse site in so many ways.

So I just created a new account on WSOP while I was in Vegas for the series. Now I’m home in jersey and am realizing I need to create a separate account. Weird, no? Don’t most sites discourage multiaccounting? I’ve always kept my same username since before Black Friday and use the same name on 2p2 and on Stars, ACR, bovada, and party. Really would love to keep it for WSOP NJ, as I’m rarely in Nevada.

Also, they told me there is no way to transfer the funds I deposited while in Vegas - how crazy is that? I need to return to Nevada to withdraw $100 from my account?

Someone tell me this is just an uninformed customer service rep and not the actual policy of 888.

The only logical conclusion at this point is that they hired the cast of Jersey Shore to run the site.

I love how the online championships series ends July 1st--weeks before the end of the actual WSOP. Talk about getting min value.

When you earn enough to go to next status level, does it update you right away or you have to wait until the end of the month for it to show and start earning at the new level?

Write to "support" so they can tell you to "check your internet connection".

The head of wsop.com has blocked his Twitter from public view. This is the kind of ambassador the future of legal online poker in the US needs. Glad we spent years lobbying state governments for online poker so it could be run by a totally out of touch idiot.

How does this clown Bill Rini keep his job after some of the nonsense he has done with WSOP.com?

I have a couple questions regarding the wsop.com rewards program. Any advice is appreciated:

1. When you are working off your deposit bonus, does the site just automatically add the $10 increments to your account as you collect the required APPs?

2. Under "My Rewards" there is an option to convert your points. Is there any advantage to building up a lot of points before you cash them in? Does the exchange rate ever change? Do I understand correctly that the points I have is equal to APPs x multiplier for my status level? (ie for Silver APPs x 10 )?

3. When you are working off a deposit bonus, are you effectively able to "double dip" (simultaneously earn the deposit bonus and points that can be converted to more cash)? Are you basically getting double the usual rakeback while working off a deposit bonus?

Thanks

1) yes as you clear the deposit/reload bonuses the money is added directly to your account
2) there is no advantage to building up alot of points since the conversion never changes. only possible advantage is some sort of increased positve feeling of cashing in alot of points at once rather than every time you play. there is a negative downside to holding on to the points too long since if you don't convert the points within 180ish days of earning them, they expire.
3) yes you clear the deposit bonus and earn rake back at the same time. thats why everyone loves bonuses lol.
