whats wild is wsop.com helped me find a trojan I had my computer. The software checks for all kinds of remote viewing software at launch and It wouldn't let me load it after I had downloaded something the night prior that ended up being a trojan. Great anti virus lol

Now that Adelson has passed, I think things accelerate quite quickly. We've already seen the wire act thrown out for good now, and Adelson was literally the only thing in online poker's way. This will now encourage a lot of smaller states to get up an running, that couldn't run without being part of a state compact. WV is a good example, everything is already legal there, they just aren't big enough to run on their own.

I think we could see a 15+ state pool in the next 2-3 years. Maybe even a federal bill that gives states the chance to opt in or not.

I have been getting an unable to detect your location message or whatever that message says every few minutes while playing WSOP events. I have paid for upgraded wifi at both Borgata and Harrahs and this issue happens at both places. The message has popped up about 60 times and I just clicked ok and nothing happens and I continue the tournament. Yesterday deep in one of the tournaments it popped up again and then the table closed and it was not able to locate me until I closed the client and reopened it. This caused me to miss a hand or 2 but I was able to play again. Is there a way to fix this issue or is there a chance it kicks me out of the tournament entirely?

I have another question if anyone knows what to do. I linked my total rewards card to my WSOP.com account. I didn't get any confirmation email and it doesn't say anything anywhere on the client that it went through. Is there a way to check if it worked and is there a way to get credited for all the points I've accumulated all year up until today? I actually called support and asked them and the guy said I have to talk to someone about it but he didn't say who.

When I signed up two years ago, they didn't confirm at all. I was wondering the same thing as you. They update your points around the first week of every month. So the only way to only play online poker for a month (don't play live with player card or at least track your hours manually) and compare it to your TR account online. If the point goes up, that mean it's connected.

Most likely not unless you're some VIP (e.g. Negreanu). If you're a Joe Schmoe like me, you probably won't be able to get those points.

Any word on how the cash games are going in PA? I was thinking about flying to Pennsylvania for a week during the bracelet events

I believe the latest word is that the new software will hit Michigan first, and then the other states will follow after that. Michigan release date- 'Soon' is all I can find.
