[WSOP.com Nevada] Unofficial thread - Page 50 - Online Poker Sites -- Two Plus Two Poker Forums

Just pulled in from FL, traveling in RV, Boondocking at Lake Mead.

I can not play because WSOP cant verify I am actually in Nevada, tech support for WSOP is a joke, sorry WSOP, but last time I was here staying at Sams Town KOA it took 2 days to open and fund my account. After that I had no issues.

So now I'm back to play the October circuit and tech support tells me I have to move further into Nevada? They cant tell me if that is 1 mile or 30 miles?

I am using my cell phone hot spot which has never been a problem in the past, its because I'm close to the border. WSOP cant define "close" so I have no clue how to fix this unless I drive to "somewhere"

This is my call to "2+2 Tech Support" any help would be great, maybe someone else has had this issue? Did a search, came up blank.....

Your cellphone may be using another states tower if its closer than one that is currently in your state.

Doesn't work from my house in Henderson. Worked fine till June then suddenly stopped working on PC, laptop, phone, and tablet. Contacted tech support they were of no help.

I get that I may be using a tower from AZ so I guess I'm asking if I am SOL or I have to move?

I would be pissed if I owned a house in NV and I couldnt play online poker unless I moved? I'm like 15 miles from the casino?

Guess I cant play poker, changing my vote so I dont have to worry about my bills! Joe says everything will be FREE!

Good point, but why would it be any different? I'm no tech genius, thats why I'm asking. If I had a "hard wired" connection why would my "location" be different? And are you saying if I had a hard wired connection 10 feet in NV I would be guaranteed to have a NV location.........

Looking at these circuit events, looks like WSOP did a great job listening to player feedback regarding bracelet events starting way too late and with way too many BBs, no ante etc.

Why on earth does it make any sense to start a tournament at 7PM EST?

I don't use a hotspot to access the internet. I have Cox internet at my house and I'm 20 miles from the Arizona border. Worked fine till June then stopped working on 4 devices. No help from support.

Hey guys,

Just back into poker after a 2 year Hiatus. Trying out WSOP online, feels weird without hand histories. Is there any way to track basic progress like hands played by stake or total win/loss by stake?

I got the software working if I play from my phone which is very annoying!

Why would it not work on my laptop when connected to that phone?

Was playing the circuit event from my phone (no wifi) and get kicked pff because they cant verify my location....

Connect to wifi, same thing.

Rush home to connect from home pc that is connected via ethernet and same message.

Been disconnected for over 20 minutes now

I can pull up the lobby of the circuit event and see chip counts and see that players are dropping.
