Since WSOP locked their thread, why can't we have our own?

I was inspired after a very frustrating chat with customer service. I just wanted to know when they were going to update the APP leaderboard. It blew my mind how difficult it was to get the answer of "I don't know" to this question. After asking the question, they had to verify my account before responding. The first response was "are you talking about the SNG leaderboard" The second response was "you should wait 72 hours" I pointed out that is was supposed to be updated daily, then they sent me the link so I quoted the promotion page. Then they said I should contact promotions. Unreal how stupid this is.

The client crashes every time I login now. Reinstalling 4 times hasn't helped.

Has anybody had any experience with picking money up at the cashiers cage with an expired drivers license? I have two forms of picture ID... One being an expired drivers license and the other a certification license for environmental control... both picture IDS... I also have my social security card and birth certificate but would like to avoid using those if possible... Lost my license today and don't want to have to wait to be able to payout at the cage...

Are the Stud8 games dead? I've checked a few nights a week for a while and don't see them running anymore.

Does anyone here play on this site? If so, any tips on the best way to analyze your play. I don't think any database is allowed and was wondering how people are breaking down hands they previously played.

stud8 has been off and on 2/4-5/10.... some of the plo8 players branch off and play it, i gauruntee if you sit in it a game will start don't know how short handed it will run tho....

I dont think there is a way to analyze previous hands because you can't download hand histories. I would love to track myself as well.

I play all the plo8 games that run from .25/.50 and down. I am frequently starting games and opening new tables. (we need a larger player pool)

I am considering depositing to take advantage of a reload bonus they sent me, but not sure 20% rb is worth it. They have mostly FR games running with a max of 6 tables as far as I know, was hoping someone could confirm the table max.

Also, does anyone know how many weeks or months I have to clear the bonus?

I know you have 60 days to clear the bonus, releasing it in $10 increments for every 100 apps played. I play about 1500-2000 apps per month so the most bonus I can clear is about 400. I will be putting in 500 this weekend, (and withdrawing an = amount immediately.)

I play plo8 exclusively and that is full ring. In Holdem full ring runs much more than 6 max until u get to the 2.5/5 level that is all 6 max.

With the story of someone getting banned for using a HUD, can we download hand histories as long as we dont run a HUD? I would love to have the database to evaluate my own play.

I do a lot of my studying and review during or in between sessions while tables are up. SERIOUS note-taking on WSOP.com has been my biggest advantage to date on the site.

i have notes on 8/9 of the players at the table. I m constantly taking notes on players... Comes in very handy when playing headsup (which i do often cos I am frequently starting games)

Is there a website that tracks WSOP nevada players, sorta like shark scope or PTR?

There used to be. I think PokerProLabs tracks players a little bit for us here in Nevada.

Anyone know what the deposit bonus equates to in rakeback %? And what % are the vip levels. Think I read the yearly levels are 20% and 30%, just not sure what the monthly ones are.

I think I may understand the vip levels now. 2% rb base level at copper/bronze and silver gives a 4x multiple so 8% rb and so on?

Found the answers:

Value/Promotions Promotions: Favor Higher Volume Players
WSOP.com offers a reasonable first deposit bonus that clears at a rate of 20% rakeback and allows 60 days to clear. Monthly reload bonuses offer the same terms. There is a monthly sit and go leaderboard and a variety of offers that change every month.
Most promotions tend to favor regular players. This gives little value to low volume players.
One example is the Action Club, which does not pay any rakeback until a player rakes $100 in a month. Lower volume players only receive freeroll entries. The highest tier most players can ever achieve returns 20% rakeback. Most will earn far lower, starting at 8% with $100 in monthly rake paid.

I couldn't find any recent posts about this but are there any credit cards you can deposit to WSOP NV without it being ran as a cash advance? Or do you have to do cash debit cards from a store? I have 2 master cards that work but it gets recorded as a cash advance.

Yesterday I made two separate deposits using two separate Visa Gift Cards I received from Christmas as gifts. One card had $198 left on it the other $500. My two deposits totaled $698. I briefly played a cash game and won roughly $50. I started to look at the tournament offerings and was not pleased. I requested a withdrawal which they say takes up to 36 hours.

Sure enough this morning I received an email stating that I needed to do two things before I could withdraw these funds: explain why I submitted a fairly large deposit and attempted to withdraw it quickly and provide both cards I used to deposit (both of which were thrown in the trash and picked up this morning).

I believe I have the right to deposit and withdraw at any time as I would in a brick and mortar poker room.

I sent an email back explaining this and now I am waiting for a reply. The 36 hour time frame to withdraw is pretty absurd. It took no longer than 3 seconds for them to approve my Visa Gift Card and credit my poker account.

The funds have ironically been sent back to my poker account allowing me to keep playing if I preferred (I don't). This sounds a lot like scams the offshore books pull when they want to keep your money.

I will keep you guys updated as to what happens. Just don't use visa gift cards to deposit on WSOP and lose the card. Don't withdraw right away either they will just cancel it and ask you questions.

For those that don't know, WSOP allows someone in nevada to play real money poker online and you are able to deposit/withdraw at several brick and mortar casinos. I had requested to withdraw at a brick and mortar casino not via paypal, check or wire.

Update #1:

I attempted to call the support number for WSOP and speak to them in regards to this issue. I was told that the operations department (who had emailed me in regards to my withdrawal) did not offer phone support and that I would need to wait for a reply via email from the operations department.

I wonder if Tony from 5dimes is running the show there!

Wsop.com customer support is useless..I have had cashier issues in the past and it was a very slow process to get things fixed but it eventually did.

They are more than likely going to "verify your id" and you will have to send personal info/documents to free up your money...

Should see your money in a few weeks
