there is a reason behind this bump tory
for one, people today, who joined 2+2 recently, may not know that the guy they often see posting as michael j, game security, was, used to be,
one of us, a 2+2 poster,
a prolific poster,
and one involved enough in the UB scandal to be name-checked in the opening paras Sticky on - news, views, gossip - thread
they may just think he is a corporate bod - from the views expressed on this thread, i think that josem is, quite clearly, not.
also, josem just posted me a link to this thread, so i could see what he was about, so the bump was to show him, yes, message understood.
and the real reason?
you may or not be aware i am looking into the Chinese DoN collusion scandal, as far as i am aware the biggest online scandal since, and of a diff order, since that was about the people at the site cheating,
this one is about players cheating themsleves,
i went to china a couple of weeks ago and registered a criminal case with the chinese police, i have been to talk to head of game security (josem's boss) at PS in the isle of man, and i am on the radio, BBC radio, this sunday, talking with the host of 5live investigates and josem about this issue, and the next day, 13th sept, i fly back to china from uk and see what the police have done about this case and also ask other contacts i have made about this:
BEIJING | Tue Feb 9, 2010 7:46am IST
BEIJING (Reuters) - China plans to crack down on the online gambling industry, including the banks and websites that support it, the Ministry of Public Security said in a statement posted on its website.
The campaign will "concentrate on investigating major and important cases of online gambling, knock out domestic and foreign groups that organize online gambling, and severely punish the criminal elements", the statement said.
The crackdown, to be conducted between February and August, was agreed to by eight government bodies including the Supreme Court, Propaganda bureau, the Central Bank and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
which may well relate to this
Chinese Anti-Gambling Legislation Implemented
August 7th, 2010
China just implemented their own version of the UIGEA on Sunday. Their is now anti-gambling legislation in China that prohibit all forms of gambling or online gambling. The only exclusion would be the national lottery that is controlled by the Chinese government. This new legislation even restricts the marketing or advertising of online gambling within China and it makes it a criminal offense to advertise any online gambling activities to anyone from within the country.
in Beijing i am going to the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Supreme Court, Propaganda bureau, the Central Bank and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology to ask if they are serious, and with the info i was supplied on the isle of man, i can tell them how to get all the chinese players ID's,
there are a few things about the chinese don collusion that do not add up, as yet,
when i posted about this on the DoN collusion thread

we can safely assume that since pokerstars is a for-profit enterprise, they will of course take any measures necessary to keep this profit and losses to a minimum....what would stop them from paying someone a few thousand dollars to come on here and make up this whole "investigation" or whatever in order to help prevent another large payout to affected players?!?!
ITT there are people who just put josem down as a PS shill,
maybe he is ( i dont think so myself for a minute)
