Requested a QT withdraw from Cake on 4/29, it finally hit QT on 5/6 and reached my checking account on 5/9. Man, do I get raped on fees though. A total of $52 is taken out, $30 by QT and another $22 by my bank/3rd parties.

Put in a request last night at 11:30pm CST for a 4k withdraw. No emails from Cake but I looked in my QT account just now and the money is already in there. Will report back if QT asks for further documentation and how long it takes to hit my bank.

Yesterday the first two $9k cake checks I got in the mail (they arrived in mid-April, took about 2 weeks for each to arrive), were finally deposited into my bank account. Took my bank about 14 business days to deposit them after I first took them into the branch. I have another $9k check that will hopefully hit my bank account in a few days, and a 4th that should arrive in a few days.

Wow, the last time I used Ecocard/Quicktender/Usemywallet/whateverdumbnamrtheythinkupnext the fee was $10. $30 is totally unacceptable for a small stakes player like myself.

The poker landscape just got infinitely more difficult for the American small stakes player. I truly hope most if not all of these players don't need quick, cheap cashouts in order to pay bills, b/c it might not happen.

Quicktender is obviously in a huge position of power and is taking full advantage of it. A Cake rep told a 2+2er that at least 2-3 new cashier options would be added within 7 days, and that was 2 weeks ago. It is obviously far more difficult to find a reliable option than Cake initially anticipated. QT is a decent option for mid-high stakes players as it usually pretty quick, but I wonder how long before they too succumb to the pressures placed on processors. I can't imagine the panic and hysteria if QT ever leaves, the backlog of withdrawals by check would cause them to take 2+ months to arrive.

MrTim...I would tell my bank to hurry the **** up. 14 business days??? thats unreal. You need a new bank. credit unions are the way to go. fastest and cheapest fees.

MegaFossil....yeah if QT bailed that would be scary for me. i wonder if they would let me fly to their HQ and pick up my money, they should set up a teller.

my last withdrawl request was only pending for 9hours last sun nt. 1 wk later i just did another withdrawl. i sure hope it's in my UMW in the morning.

Hit my bank acct today with no extra fees. Four business days total from Cake to my bank. Not bad.

Quicktender charges a $30 fee on any withdrawal amount. Any extra fees depends on your bank and can be anywhere from $0-$35.

Unrelated to Cake, but related to Wire withdrawals..

I just withdrew last week on P4E, and had it sitting in my bank account the 8th morning after hitting the Cash Out button

I got my $5k check in the mail today, only took a few weeks i was pretty pleased. The fun part was trying to get it into a bank or cashed. First i went to my credit union that i deposit all my other checks into. They took the check i went home thought everything was fine. the teller calls me like 30 minutes later and said they would not accept the check because it was from out of the country (canada), that I needed to come pick it up. Next i went to amscot, a check cashing place. after like 30 minutes of questioning she said she had to call corporate to get approval. she gets off the phone and says that the check is counterfiet. now im pissed, I know its not counterfiet and they just wasted 30 minutes of my time. i go to my other bank, they have no problems put a 9 day hold on it because its out of the country but never said a word about the check. Everything worked out in the end as long as i get my money which wont be a problem. Just so annoying wasting 2 hours of my time trying to cash a check. I def wont step foot in another amscot after being treated like a criminal.

Anyone know what "courier" service Cake typically uses to deliver checks in the US? Is it just fedex or something?

a bit OT..

anyone remember the glory days, when on a site like, oh, say Paradise, you hit "Cash Out", and 24 hours later, a FedEx guy was standing on your doorstep handing you an envelope with you check?

I remember when I could hit cashout on Party Poker, it hit my Neteller 50 minutes later, and 5 minutes later it was in my hand at the ATM.

Sounds like Moneygram is working well for Stars, I don't see why Cake wouldn't consider this option.

I made a withdrawal from Cake about 2 weeks ago, and I had some problems with my address for it, and so I had to change it. Should I be worried that I haven't gotten it yet, or is this pretty standard? I also have emailed them, and every time I've emailed them, they have said they would send this to the cashier section of cake and they would email me back, they still haven't done it yet after a week.

Does UMW only charge if I withdraw to my bank account with it? Like, could I withdraw from Cake and deposit into Eurolinx or vice versa for free?

Hello,

Thank you for your email. I'm afraid at present UseMyWallet account invitations would only be open to those players who meet criteria laid down by UseMyWallet, which I’m afraid we are unable to discuss at this time. As soon as your account meets these criteria our Cashier team will forward an invitation, apologies for not being able to help you further at this time and thanks in advance for your patience.

Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

Kind Regards,

Steve

send one asking for quicktender instead of usemywallet. If my understanding is correct, they are basically the same company. When i sent an email asking for usemywalletet i got the not cool person response, when i asked ten minutes later for a quicktender account i got the cool person invitation.
