I think it is a bad idea to put the fake address or phone number during the registration on any poker room. They are able to block your account if this info is not accurate according to the ToS.
As for Bovada - I never had any calls from them (and from any other rooms too).

Are you sure that these guys who call you are from Bovada? And if you suspect that they are - just contact their support and ask officially to stop such calls. But I'm sure you've left your number at another internet places too so it is not Bovada which annoys you.

Are there any US facing sites, who are not having cash out problems? I've been getting the itch to play, but seems like all are having major issues with cash outs. Funny, taking our money is super easy.

Hi All,

This is a good thread, especially if you are a USA player trying to figure out where to play.

I've been playing online since around 2005 or so. Started off on party poker and when that went down I moved over to pokerstars. When pokerstars went down, I quit for awhile but then ended up on sportsbook, the owner of the merge network if I understand right?

Anyways, merge upped their rake. Bad idea I think. I see player volumes going down. The games seem in general tougher too. I play both ring and tourney games. I am currently playing in the Sunday big ticket $150 K guaranteed. I believe this used to be $250k guaranteed, but that was back in better days. Today's $150K guaranteed tourney cost $215 to enter and had a total of 608 players after late registration ended. 608 * $215 = $130,720. So Sportsbook didn't get paid for the full $150k guarantee.

I would say that's not a good sign and I plan to pull most of my money from Sportsbook.

I started playing on Bovada yesterday and today. They seem to have a few more players than Sportsbook does. But I sure don't like the Bovada software interface. It seems really clunky. And also, I really kind of don't like the anonymous play. I'll keep trying it though. But yeah the anonymous thing kinda sux.

Has anybody got advice for a California USA player trying to find a good site with lots of players?

Also, how is the Ultimate poker site? Many players? Good interface? I do have some ties in Nevada...

Anyways, interesting thread and thanks in advance for any information.

They are exactly the same in terms of promos , vip, rakeback, etc. The only difference may be availability of VIP support.

Americas Cardroom always has highly rated cash out reliability and times.

True, but I have to drive 2 hrs to get to one, which isn't exactly convenient.

I'm sick of the lack of games on Black Chip. Someone recommend me a decent site with RB. I don't really care about cash out speed, as I just deposit $100 and start at the bottom and see how high I can grind it up.

Look at the very first thread.

Thread likely going to be moved somewhere...but in before it does.

I'd say right now Merge (Carbon, Aced, etc.) or Revolution (Intertops, Lock [if you REALLY don't care about cashout times, their funds are on the cheap in P2P trading], etc.) in terms of amount of games and decent RB. Though with Intertops their RB/loyalty system is a little different - more experienced folks can describe that; and 'Tops is invite-only for US players, as well.

Yeah...I'd play a lot more on BCP or ACR if they had a better spread. Too many high buy-in, low GTD games save for the nightly 10k for my taste.

^^ Comparatively speaking, it would appear that way. The only one I believe is faster is Intertops, but that's invite-only for US players. Skins on Merge are weeks wait at least, while non-'Tops skins on Revolution are in a timeframe quagmire to put it mildly.

I thought Merge wasn't doing RB for new players?

Correct. No straight RB at Merge for anyone, even existing players.

There is a VIP program. RB tiers are 8.0% 10.0% 14.0% 19.0% 25.0% 35.0%.

Ill read through the thread but wanted to ask about WPN.

Between True and BCP

What site would guys recommend for a nl50/nl100 cash game grinder?
(8+tables NL Hold em, NO OMAHA)

Im thinking in regards to RB, rewards, cs, cashout times.

Do both sites process withdrawals at the same speed?

Thanks

Hey all, long time 2+2'er here, but on a new account as I can't figure out how to log into my old one. Go Figure.

I have been looking around and seem to find conflicting information, so I was hoping yall could help clear things up a bit. This is what I've gathered:

1- Lock Poker is the only site with real RB to speak of, but it's a terribad idea to deposit there.
2- No US friendly site has cashouts that are very reliable
3- No US friendly site runs many SnGs or MTTs

Are there any options for a site with good RB, and good MTT/SnG schedule? I play on a Mac, btw.

I've tried everything..

Carbon has its faults but it is actually by far the best choice we have.
For every type of player too.

im a little lost with what sites are currently allowing new players from new york. I'd appreciate it if someone could give me some up to date information concerning that current state of affairs. i see winning network has the fastest cash out times, but what is their mtt/ sng schedule like. micro-high stakes???

Also i am concerned that i will make a deposit, play for a couple months, win 5 figures, only to be told that i from new york state and cant cash out. Has that happened to anyone??? if so what newtwork and skin???

not sure if it was mentioned in the first 100 pages or not, but i thought id give my current situation.

in regards to page 1 of this thread with certain states not having all of the networks available, "merge" is not listed for Louisiana.

I opened a carbon account around 2007 or 2008 while living in Illinois and played for a while with many deposits. Then took a few years off and around 2010 I started playing again after having moved to Louisiana. I updated my address on the site to my Louisiana address and no problems. Stopped playing again until a week ago. So it seems being in Louisiana I am indeed able to play on the merge network, at least on carbon.
