Some of you want to deposit without going through Western Union or MoneyGram. Here is some info you may like:

FYI about Visa debit card depositing...

I have seen no problems with bank VISA debit cards being accepted by Carbon's and Bovada's cashiers, though I am not too comfortable depositing if I have a bunch of money in that bank checking account. Who knows how protected the debit card numbers are by those shady international shell companies that take money on behalf of the Kahnwake Indians.

I recently went to Wal Mart and bought the WalMart MoneyCard Visa prepaid debit card. It is a card you load instantly at WalMart and register online (give your address and SSN) when you get back to your computer. You can use it for "normal" purchases right away, and they send you a personalized card with name imprint in a week. I learned this key fact:
The temporary card cannot be used for international transactions, but the permanent card can. So you can get a WalMart MoneyCard to deposit successfully on Bovada or Carbon if you wait a week after giving WalMart your money. Also, there is a line in the terms and conditions fine print that they don't want you using the card for online gambling...

Other than bovada, best site with PLO traffic for USA? I can't get past this anonymous bullcrap. Tried it for a month and just wasn't my thing. Too sketched.

Your best use of Netspend is to find a reliable 2+2er (GC forum or the p2p xfer thread) willing to accept your NS transfer and offer you a good deal on poker site funds.

You are way off base on your USA tax presumptions.
Day-to-day sessions and results form your tax obligation.
Cash-outs and transfers make no difference at all.

I currently play on BCP for tournaments only, but am looking to get into cash 6 max, but I heard BCP rake is ridiculous, so which US friendly site would you recommend for 6 max?

Depends on stakes and volume really.

Well my semester is almost over so I would love to put in some serious volume and with my bankroll I am rolled for either 25nl or 50nl 6 max.

Merge has the most games going for 6 max (other than maybe Bovada)

Problem with Bovada is HUDS are not supported and players are anonymous, so you can't keep notes on them etc.

BCP (Winning Poker Network) has the best cash out times by far and from what I can tell seems to get plenty of 6 max traffic, it's the FR that seems hard to come by. If I want to cash out on Merge... it takes a long time. 8 weeks I believe currently... compared to 2 with BCP or you can get their debit card for cash outs within 3 days.

Merge/Carbon has plenty of good games, you'll be waiting a while for cashouts though.

At these stakes you can find action at Merge, Revo, Bovada, Winning PN

Bovada does have a HUD available.

There are fast cashout options on Merge if you don't mind vig.

WPN (BCP as you've labeled them) has lots of traffic, but extra "rake" in the form of BBJ/Beast drop.

It all depends really on what matters to you most and/or if you're willing to multi-site. Every US network has pros/cons.

Again, Merge and Carbon are NOT the same as many people falsely believe. They are entirely different companies and have been for many years.

There are fast cashout options on Merge, they just have vig and lower rewards for some types of players.

I forgot to mention that I have 35% Rakeback with BCP, how much does that offset the rake issue on BCP? Because (and I know it probably does) have an impact on that issue then I'll just keep all my volume on BCP.

It offsets the rake by....35%. But it offsets BBJ and the Beast by 0%; of course you'd have equity in the BBJ, and presumably some in the Beast as well.

How do you get the faster cashout? I see there is an 'express courier' option on Carbons withdrawal page but that's the only thing I see other than request payout by check.

How much is the vig?

i believe that there's a merge skin called pokerhost, which has some form of p2p xfer. i've seen trading posts about it in the transfer threads. i would guess this means they have their own cashier and are not on the normal merge cashier? but i'm not sure about that.

i'm pretty sure pokerhost has had a not-good reputation in the last months/years, but i don't know much about their current incarnation. here is their thread which goes back a couple years: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/28...erhost-260501/

perhaps things have changed for the better. if anyone has more recent info on it, please feel free to post it here imo! i bet there's some in that thread as well.

How much is the vig?

express courier on Carbon/Aced saves you 3-4 days. The cashier you are asking about is different.

The vig is 7-11% for WU/MG.

True, I don't care for their parent company that runs the cashier. I also don't care for the company that runs the Carbon/Aced cashier. The reviews for both in regards to sportsbook/casino dealings are meh.

For poker however both have, thusfar, good reputations for always paying out and not doing anything shady like confiscating funds.

The P2P on PH is very limited, 500/week in all but certain arranged circumstances. But it can fill a market niche for certain types of players, i.e. those wanting WU/MG quickly, those who don't mind vig, those who might be more casual players (VIP tier is lifetime vs monthly).

How can you get the option to use WU/MG? I do not seem to have this option available, only check. What's the speed like?

Revolution Gaming
Skins
Lock - Support Cashout
Cake - Support Cashouts
Intertops - Support Cashouts
- Lock uses a separate, faster cashier which offers WU
- Affiliates such as rakebrain, raketherake & thenuts have been known to help speed up cake cashouts
- Intertops uses a separate, faster cashier which charges $50 per check
- Choice between 36% (dealt) rakeback vs. (dealt) VIP system
- Software: **
Do not sign up or play a Lock Poker. It will take forever to get your money off...And their WU feature is a joke. Try to get invited to intertops.
