I know that there are still a few sites available to US players. My question is will these sites inevitably be shut down or will they likely be left alone? Or is there just no way to know?

I checked out Bodog, Merge and Revolution and decided to make a deposit on Merge just because they had the most usable software. Stars and Tilt are the ****ing nuts compared to the crap software that these chumpy networks have.

Almost all of the low limit players on Merge are American. I bet once the good poker sites allow Americans again most of these networks that let the Yanks play will die off.

Are there any Washington players here playing on Lock Poker and what Rake Affiliates are you using.

False.

WPN is a rake rape. Merge is volatile atm. Intertops or nothing for Revolution. Bovada is fine if you're a winning player and can work around the no RB.

Hey guys, new member here, 1st post! Great amount of info in this thread, great site.

Anyways, if I am strictly using p2p transfers for my transactions, which site will give me the best poker experience (traffic, quality of software, etc.)?

From what I have read it seems Lock or Merge are my best options. Just want to be sure.

No p2p on merge unfortunately. Best network for sure

So, I started playing on Carbon regularly for about a week running since Black Friday. It appears to be the best option for American players. I'm only at $4NL starting from the bottom working my way up but it's going well so far. The software seems nice and there's enough game at this level.

My worry, though, is about traffic and games at future levels. I checked out the number of tables at $100NL, $50NL, and $25NL and it didn't look so hot. Maybe 1 or 2 tables at each level. This was a weeknight (last night), so maybe it's better on the weekend, but I was just wondering what other American players who didn't move out of the country are doing? Because if that's the best there is to offer, that's pretty discouraging. It's one thing if the games are tougher, but if there's hardly any games running at all, how do you overcome that?

If this is the trend, then I'll probably have to start visiting the casino more often and just have more home games and play online whenever I can't do those things. Anyway, I just wanted to know what others are doing.

Carbon (Merge in general) had a lot more traffic until somewhat recently.

Look into WPN or Revolution as network options instead of merge

Revolution is Lock poker or Cake or both or something else? What is WPN?

Thanks for the link. Looks like Revolution Poker is Lock, Cake, and some others. And, it also looks like Cake has turned into "Juicy Stakes" based on my Rake the Rake account. This could be a tough decision because I have not heard good things about Lock or Cake but if they are getting more traffic, I need a site that at least has games going on. I have a rakeback account on Cake, but I haven't deposited there, so if I give Revolution a try, I'm going to have to figure out a way to get money on the site. I'll check out that thread more in depth and see where that leads me.

Yeah, that sucks. Does my account have to be verified to send/receive transfers on WPN or on Lock? Just curious to anyone who knows.

I wouldn't trust anything still on Chico. There have been many complaints about payouts, or lack-there-of.

Can you give a little more info as to why? I've been looking into depositing on there, but I've read that cashouts are slow/non-existant.

cash game traffic:

Revolution > Bovada > Merge > Winning > Chico

everything else is worthless
