Your best bet for feedback is to post in their dedicated forum. Look around to see if there's an existing thread with people experiencing similar issues. If not, then start your own thread in that forum.

Jonathan Little made a half-hour video (see link at the bottom of this post) talking about Americans playing poker online. It's gloomy and warns against playing on most of the sites that we (Americans) play on, but most of what he says about our situation is correct. That said, my advice would be that if, like me, you play in the US on unregulated sites, don't keep any more money than necessary online.

I keep some of my online bankroll in a bank account. Most of my cash for playing live is in a safe deposit box. You don't need to have $1,000 in your wallet to play a $50 live tournament and you don't need to have $500 online to play $10 tournaments on Americas Cardroom.

Here is Little's video:

Besides: If you can manage to beat the online game (many are), it's only going to make your live game much better.
That's pretty much what I thought when I was playing on PokerStars, everything froze, and I was looking at an FBI logo on my computer. Players on Full Tilt had their money tied up for over a year.

Regarding your statement about how easy it is to take money off a site, well that depends on the site. For example, the first withdrawal on Juicy Stakes Poker comes with a $250 fee. If you have a $1,000 bankroll online and you want to take any amount out, $250 is deducted. Future withdrawals require paying a certain amount of rake in one calendar month, or you pay another $250 for each withdrawal.

A couple weeks ago I did the math on what that month would look like for a micro tournament player. It might take playing every available $1 to $5 turbo SNG for a month, any time of day or night (very small player pool) or multi-tabling, or both, to pay enough rake to avoid the $250 withdrawal fee.

I spoke to ACR rep via chat and asked if I could play in Delaware and receive deposits and was told I could. Is this not correct because Delaware is not listed as an ACR location as far as playing.

Since you seem to have doubts about what a site rep told you, you can take my word for it, since I don't work for ACR. There are several states not listed as being playable for ACR. I'm in one of them and saw folks from my state playing there. So I did what you did. Called and spoke to a CS rep. Was told I could play and cash out. So I signed up and have played off and on for 2-3 years now. This issue was raised at that time with some other folks also. What is stated in the first post here is different than what is actually in play.

I did sign up. Deposited with a CC which was cool. First NLHE QQ VS KK. Lol. I had QQ. Like the site tho. Layout is pretty good.

I see from ACR's T&C that:

1.4 Residents of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, State of Maryland, State of New Jersey, State of Delaware, State of Nevada or Washington State may not download and use the Software for any purpose. No license is granted hereunder to any User located within any jurisdiction where such offer of a license by ACR or use by such person thereof shall violate any applicable laws.

If an element of ACR's stated T&C can be ignored by their Support Reps as being incorrect in this fundamental matter, then who knows what their interpretation or acceptance of other stated terms could be?

My gut said screenshot the conversation but I didn't. Wish I did in hindsight now. I only deposited $25 to check out the software so it isn't the end of the world if I never see it again.

Some of their reps may need retraining.

As I stated in my earlier post, this issue was discussed in either this thread or the WPN thread several years ago. Kahn had an astute explanation for what is stated in their T&C and what is fact. And I've yet to see one post in this forum or Pocket 5s from a member of my state c/o withdrawal issues, despite some four figure cashes and shipping of tournaments.

Posts #5700, 5701, & 5702. Forgot that I actually received an invite.

T&C may be just to cover them in the event someone went after them. ACR can say, well we told them not to and they didn't listen. I'm cool with that if it's the case. I'll take the heat. Can't imagine there would really be any anyway. I don't think as a player there are legal ramifications.

WTF, $250 fee? I'm glad you posted this, I will not put any significant $ into this site, what a joke

Add BetOnline or SportsBetting on the Chico Network, Global Poker and either ACR, BlackChip or True Poker on the Winning Poker Network to your portfolio. Between those three networks and Ignition you will have plenty of tournaments to choose from.

It seems to me that if a site is going to put up a detailed page that shows exactly how the withdrawals work, they should have an equally detailed page for withdrawals, but that won't happen because:

1. They know that most players are going to see "$250" and look somewhere else.

2. They are an unregulated site, so no one can make them do it.

A teacher said in a public hearing that he played online in the state of Washington, where it is a felony.

For mixed games on an agent site, the only option is Kingsclubpkr.com. It’s not an Asian app, you can play up to 6 tables at once, and I’d guesstimate the pool is about 80% live US players and 20% row. Its all cash games no mtts or sngs

You want an agent that will guarantee all funds, no matter what. Rakeback varies, depending on who you know and the deal you work out w them

Swcpoker.eu doesn’t have as many variants, but has least rake in the industry (whether NLHE cash, mtt, or 2-7 td sng) and horse and 8g run there, in both mtt and cash. It is a BTC-only site, but there are people that can help you get familiar w BTC, or sell you chips for fiat
