Hey Everyone,
Just poking my head in here to let you know that
Big Ugly Poker is a new real-money* site that opened yesterday, which is completely safe for U.S. players.
* The caveat to real-money is that you're not permitted to make any deposits onto the site. You're only allowed to make withdrawals.
Be advised, it's not your typical site since we all know the legal status of poker in the U.S. Rather, you play entirely for free but players are awarded with prizes that are paid for via the advertising generated on the site. We know, at first thought, it might seem inconvenient to watch about 3 minutes of ads per hour (actually at the higher levels of play, ads become optional). However, it doesn't take long to squeez an ad in here or there whenever you've folded pre-flop.
You should also know that we're not offering sky high stakes. So if $100/200 is the only thing that gets you up in the morning, this site may not be for you. On the other hand, if your prior experience on real-money sites involves recurring deposits with few or no withdrawals, then you might find this appealing.
Also know that there are no downloads, and there is no software to install. We don't want your credit card. You won't find anything that resembles a deposit button. Just username, password, and email and you're ready to start playing. All of our contests pay out in coins, which are then used to purchase stuff in the store -- including cash.
Bear in mind that we opened for beta yesterday, and the store won't be available until the beta phase concludes near the end of August. So just hang onto your coins and we promise they'll be good for store purchases when that time comes.
It won't cost you anything to play. So please give it a shot and let us know what you think.
We have our own forum here on Two Plus Two if you care to share your comments and suggestions with us.
We hope to see you soon!
P.S. There are $500 worth of promotions during the remainder of July to welcome new Two Plus Two users to our site. More to come in August too.
