They only show zone poker. I see no setting to show cash games with seats open.

Hello,

I have not played online since 2010, what is the best site currently running for American players. Looking for quality software, easy deposit and withdrawal, good amount of players and some decent tournaments and sng. I have seen a bunch of sites on here but didn't know which to try, I have Globa poker, americas card room, and bovada or whoever purchased them, what site is best to start playing.

Zone poker shows. Cash games do not. Nor do SNGs for that matter. There is no way to see currently running cash games or SNGs in the lobby. This is done by design to protect recreational players.

ACR and Ignition (Bovada) are the two largest sites and the most likely to fulfill your criteria. Be sure to use bitcoin for the fastest, cheapest deposits and withdrawals.

Rumors? It's a fact. They're in N.J.

It may come back on a larger level, in states other than NJ, but if so, it won't be on a national level, only a state level. Furthermore, it won't share players with the global PokerStars player pool. The player pool will be limited to the state that regulated and allowed them to join.

In short, if you want something with liquidity, check back some time around 2030 give or take a couple years.

When visiting Las Vegas, can I log in and play on Ignition and ACR?

Let's say I play on Ignition and ACR and I'm from California. So when I'm on vacation in an excluded state, what happens when I log in and play? Will that cause issues/headaches with the site?

As many have stated before, check with the site.

I suggest not trying to initiate a deposit or a withdrawal while in Nevada. Very unlikely anything happens if you don't fiddle with the cashier. If anything does happen, you'll be temp shut down until you answer an email from security and tell them you're on vacation temporarily. Then you'll be reinstated.

So ignition is bovada? And US players are at least semi-comfortable playing there? Thank you.

I may be late to answering this question, but as a California player myself who recently traveled to Las Vegas, I can confirm that you can indeed play poker online in Nevada if you are from out of state on ACR.

I read a few pages of this thread and the first post. I live in New York City. Am I OK depositing via my credit card on ACR? Then I'm assuming I have to set up a Bitcoin account? I know nothing about Bitcoin but plan to read the link that was passed along in this thread. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Best site for NLHE MTTS for CA residents?

Also, what is the legality of depositing and withdrawing? Don't want to do anything illegal.

If an American moves to Canada and sets up a legal address, etc - Can he play on ROW Stars or does Canada have it's own segregated Stars market now? Even if it does, I would imagine it's far more traffic and far more profitable than playing as a US player today, no?

There's nothing on the books that says you're doing anything illegal, provided you report the income and pay taxes on it.

You're a little outside of the scope of this thread now, but no, Canada isn't part of any segregated markets.

I understand. I guess if I were you I wouldn't want my ilk contemplating a migration to your country, either.

LOL. I actually thought my post was good news for you and would make you more likely to want to come here. But now that I know more about your ilk, I'll say that, um...our border is closed, sorry.

You do not have to use bitcoin. It's just highly recommended. You could opt to get any withdrawals via paper check if you so chose. Much slower process however.

Best is a relative term. In this instance, I'm going to assume "best" means "biggest/most tournaments" in which case you'll want to look into Pai Wang Luo and Winning Poker Networks.

If you're worried about the legality of depositing and withdrawing (you shouldn't be), you can always use bitcoin which isn't classified as a currency by the US government.

Well, that's not entirely true is it? It has it's own segregated markets with some state licensed operators who only provide services to a single province.

The poster was asking if Canada was segregated by any ROW sites, and got the answer he needed from my post, so your nittery was completely irrelevant and unneeded. Especially since it's questionable how correct it is - segregation implies a division of some kind, and the government-run sites in Canada are Canada-only. In other words, they aren't segregated from any other countries, but are ring-fenced within one. Yes, I believe Ontario's government has kept its site ring-fenced from BC & Manitoba - not what I would call segregated, since they are two completely separately run sites, and even if one does want to say they're segregated, it has no relevance to the poster's question.
