LOL sorry, didn't know you actually cared. It's not always the same thing, so I don't know how much the answer will help you, but this is what it was this time; he inserted it into the quote of your post:

http:// ftw. gd/jn1Ky

The site has since been filtered, so when I removed the spaces, it now shows up as:

Edit to add: I see now that ftw . gd is just a link shortener site; presumably one that is used often for spam.

Interesting... Either they are terrible at spam, or I don't know what I think I know about SEO and traffic generation.

I think that the only way you can see the "hidden spam" is by turning off "Show Images" in your "My 2+2 Options". If you decide to do that to check a new user's post where he Quotes someone else's post, (quite unusual), please Report the post if you see the spam.

Thanks.

Are there any estimates?

May be things will change with a new president only. However I doubt that Hillary plays online hehe.

Why don't you read the first post of the thread and/or ask the sites your wondering about, how to play from different states. Unless your some gov. employee/spook trying to get info.

I'd love to see some FBI guys at a live casino!

But you don't. you just keep registering your handles and ask what obviously can be found on the net.

I'm in MD, and I see the Equity and Chico are somewhat legal here. In these networks, which sites are currently the most reliable/legit? keep in mind I have a small bankroll on Juicy, which once was legal in MD, but is no longer. Not only that, but they're pretty terrible anyway.

I created an account on Full Flush (Equity), but I have to jump through hoops to make a deposit.

Any other good ones? Perhaps one that isn't so nazi-like with their deposit rules?

thanks

Besides what you've mentioned there is Seals With Clubs. MD has few choices.

In the Merge thread someone said that Bovada has decent non-NLHE, non-PLO traffic. During peak hours there are sometimes two low limit Stud8 tables going on Merge, but there are several hours a day when there is no traffic outside of the various big bet flop game variants.

If it isn't better anywhere else, then I may have to stick with the devil I know.

Edit:
Downloaded the client to answer my question. On Bovada there are currently three micro stakes Stud8 tables going and only one on Carbon.

You appear to be an MTT player? If that is accurate you'll want to check out Bovada, Carbon, any of the WPN skins like America's Cardroom, Black Chip, True poker, Ya poker. Depending on the stakes you play you might also like to check out Full Flush or Sportsbetting.ag or Seals With Clubs if you're into bitcoin.

full tables are hidden in the bovada lobby, so there are usually more games going on there than it appears. they only appear when a seat opens up.

Is there a way to view full tables, or is this an anti-bum hunting measure? I don't know how I ultimately feel about anonymous tables, but not even being able to observe a full table while I'm waiting is kind of absurd.

In other news, just from creating an account to use the client I got a call from Bovada this afternoon to ask which products (poker/casino/sports book) I'm interested in and to tell me about their deposit bonus promotion. That's a pretty aggressive measure.

there's no way to view them that i know of. it's a fish-protecting measure as well as a keep-tables-full measure imo. you can open up a not-full table to observe it and then once it fills up you can keep watching it.

it's an interesting trade-off. if everyone max bumhunts in the short run, then it's less likely that the ecosystem is still strong in the long run. the ecosystem being strong and around for a while means more profit for bovada, as well as games that are around longer for us.

yeah bovada is pretty proactive about helping people to deposit. if you super don't want to deal with them you could always block the number on your cellphone, or change your number in their system if they keep calling your landline. in an environment where a lot of people are unsure of how to deposit, i assume they've decided that they benefit more by doing this as opposed to waiting for the customer to come to them.

Hi! Haven't played any poker for nearly two years. I'm looking to play some PLO. What is the best site these for an IL based player to get on for some PLO action? I'll probably want to play some 100PLO+, but I'll settle for 50 and even 25 if nobody is playing anything higher.

Thanks in advance!

Read the OP and a few additional pages

- From Wisconsin
- casual player - 50NL
- like to learn PLO at micro stakes

From what I've read, Bovada and Carbon are my best options to start but don't offer rakeback.

? - how is money transferred to and from sites? Western Union?
? - Do they need my social security number to get a payout? Had that issue years ago and hated it.
? - What is my best option for a rakeback site? Blackchip and Full Flush the best?

A few thoughts. If you use Western Union, be super damn careful with exact name given to use. There are also visa cards that are setup for international online purchases. If you get one of those, leAve extra on the card to cover fees. Don't get a 50 dollar card for a 50 dollar deposit.

Your other questions are more about personal preferences, I'm on both bcp and full flush. The play on both varies from difficult to fishy. I don't know if playing the micro plo will get you where you want experience wise. Try the plo 10.

Good luck with it all, I'm sure others will share up some thoughts with you as well. Merry Christmas.

Your state isn't restricted at all. You can play on any of the US friendly poker sites. For 100+ PLO, I'd recommend: Bovada, Carbon, any of the WPN skins, Chico Network, and Full Flush Poker.

1) All US friendly sites are open to you and will have enough 50 NLHE tables for a casual player.
2) PLO at micro stakes is pretty much the same thing.
3) Full Flush doesn't offer rakeback
4) Your choices for rakeback enabled sites include WPN skins Amereica's Cardroom, Black Chip, True Poker and YaPoker. Revolution skins Juicy Stakes and Intertops. And SWC if you like to start tables, offers bitcoin RB.
5) Some sites may ask for your SSN depending on how you deposit.
