Your premise is incorrect. Online poker is not illegal. You confusion appears to arise from grouping "US-regulated" with "legal" and "non US-unregulated" with "illegal". This is factually incorrect.

Your debit card might not work on ACR. Probably about a 60% chance that it goes through. If it doesn't work, try buying crypto-currency with your debit card and sending that instead. ACR accepts 70 different crypto currencies as of Sept 2017.

Legally speaking, it is not illegal for you to play online poker. Enjoy.

And Kahn, I'm not aiming that at you or anyone in particular, my comment just happened to fall here behind yours. So just accept my troll comment apology in advance.
I have no knowledge of said "fact finding" mission. I also have no knowledge of why "we should all just stop recommending WPN".

Anybody know about 64spades.com? Is this a legit US serving site? I guess they are a sponsor of the Heads Up poker podcast which I just started listening to, never heard of them before.

If I just want to get online to dabble in some low stakes Omaha to get the feel of that game, where is the best place to play? (TN resident - looks like no restrictions.)

You are correct. None of the offshore sites disallow TN and you can play wherever you want. All the sites have micro stakes PLO and unless you plan on multi-tabling, which it doesn't sound like you are, then pretty much all of them should give you a few spewtastic penny games to play at. You could sort them by who has the most rakeback or rewards, by who has the lowest rake, by who has the most games to select from, etc in order to determine "best" since that is subjective. Be more specific and I can give a more specific answer.

I think that this is a specific issue that does need to be addressed here for the benefit of US players who deserve as much information as possible before depositing their money on a site.

Currently 2+2 is investigating recent claims of massive cheating on WPN in the form of bots, multi-accounting, and exploitation of certain tournament late-registration loopholes. There have been claims of unfair practices on WPN for years, but they recently became prominent when ChicagoJoey, one of the most popular poker youtubers today, made some accusations of cheating on WPN:

https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/2...eware-1703281/

Because of these accusations, Mason Malmuth, the owner of 2+2, is conducting an inquiry into cheating on the site. There should be some statement from 2+2 soon.

https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/5...ising-1703886/

I'd ask that this post be left here, as it is pertinent to Kahntrutahn's statement that he has no knowledge of a "fact finding" mission and that he has no knowledge of why people should stop recommending WPN.

Whether or not the accusations prove to be actionable, there is an inquiry into cheating on the site, and I think that any players deserve to know this when considering what site to use.

So then by all means, please substitute the words "US-regulated" and "US-unregulated" into the question for "legal" and "illegal" respectively. The question below still stands if you so choose to answer it.

"Where can US players play? Hey Kahn, instead please answer these questions: Do you hope US players will (sooner rather than later) play on some sort of legal sites in more states in addition to DE, NV, NJ and PA in the future? And why don't you or whoever the mod is specify those "legal options" or sites on the first page of this thread (instead of nebulously referencing them) for those states where it is legal in addition to the offshore sites where it is not??"

Your question was answered by Bobo Fett IIRC, but the posts in this thread have been moved around and I dont' have time to dig it up. To reiterate, I am not a moderator and I do not have control of this thread.

I answered all of his questions but the first one, so I'm not sure why he reposted them all. For some reason he feels it important that you give an opinion on something that is at best tangentially related to this thread; I'll leave it to you whether you answer.

Good point.

Please list the US-regulated sites per state and I'll edit them in to the first thread. (Sorry - I always assumed players in those states knew the relevant US-regulated sites.)

I am a US player that used to grind 25NL to help my 2/5 live play. After a long break am looking to get back into live poker and was wondering what is the best US site to get the rust off? Games being tough relative to other sites isn't really concern as this is just prep for more significant $ in live play. I would like to be able to use the old style live HUD to help with decisions and to analyze hands/my play afterwards if possible.

I have HM1 and PT3, which I believe no longer work. Is there any software that I could use that is free up to 25NL that works live with a US site?

There are a number of HUDs that have free trials where you can use them for 1,000 hands or 30 days, etc. I've heard of some people running through every single free trial until they were forced to actually pay for one of them hah.

I'd recommend any of the big three networks: Chico (BetOnline Sportsbetting ag), Pai Wang Luo (Ignition, Bovada), Winning (America's Cardroom, Black Chip).

WPN/ACR has had their sponsored forum shut down by 2p2 management for their lack of response to allegations of mass cheating/collusion/botting.

Their CEO Phil Nagy receives an email from 2p2 management re the serious allegations and evidence and doesn't even bother to respond.

So it might not be the best network to play on for real money right now, hard to say for sure.

Anyone have any idea why many(but not all apparently) people, including myself, could not sign in and play at sportsbetting.ag for the past few days? It seems to be back working now, but the site being down without any explanation is a bit troubling

Check out the Chico Network thread. Many others were having issues. I was a lucky one who was not. If you follow @DaveMason on Twitter you can see a ton of @s to him about issues. He heads the BetOnline sportsbook, but Sportsbetting.ag is on the same network.

If some people could access it and others could not, it sounds like an Internet routing issue. Perhaps something to do with DNS changes, or a major ISP screwed up routing tables or some other such technical nonsense.

How does game frequency on Bovada/Ignition compare to WPN for LHE (including HU) 15/30+?

I'm familiar with how WPN runs but not Bovada, so some perspective from anyone who's played both would be great.

Not a lot of action on either site for LHE. Not a lot of LHE action anywhere on the Internet tbh. Game quality is decent on both sites, when you can get action that is.

I'm looking for a poker site to play that will:
1. Offer some kind of rake back
2. Have software which I can download to my MacBook to...
3. Allow me to use a mac-friendly HUD
4. Allow me to deposit USD using a standard credit card
5. Allow players from Maine, USA.

I am having issues trying to research all these requirements so I would really appreciate if someone could recommend any sites.

Sportsbetting.ag/Betonline. Might want to wait a few days while they sort out their issues
