?? This isn't true at all. There are tons of games running above 10NL right now and always.

For Boost games? Their version of Zoom/Zone/Fast Fold never has more than 10 players in the pool on a consistent basis at any other stakes.

Yeah sorry, I was surfing around and thought I was still in the Chico thread. Thanks for your answer. I thought the boost games were just low stakes but it's great to know that there are higher stakes regular games that are always running.

No worries. Just making sure you were aware.

Traffic is actually down a bit. Australians were recently disallowed and the past 2 days have had intermittent connection issues for most. Usually you can find some pretty good action up to midstakes in cash games. Higher stakes games run, but the traffic can vary a lot.

Sorry - I read the post you were responding to wrong. I didn't realize you were talking about specifically boost. I thought you meant just across the board.

All good bro.

Across the board they have the 3rd highest traffic of the tracked networks available in the US behind Ignition/Bovada and WPN. I'm not sure where Global Poker stands in these rankings.

The group who bought and turned Poker Scout into an affiliate website promote Global heavily on their US targeted websites. I imagine that they will ask their data provider (the original creator of Poker Scout) to start tracking Global Poker.

When that happens, whether what they publish will be an accurate representation of the traffic or not... well... who knows.

I'm not a fan of the new PokerScout and I know you're not a fan of Global Poker, but I am very curious in Global's traffic numbers in comparison to other sites. I have to imagine it would be easier to get closer to accurate numbers for them than it is for Ignition/Bovada.

The last time I recall checking the old PokerScout site was to see if they had added Global to the tracker. They were probably in transition by that time as I believe they had just been acquired by Catena.

Recently, after a trip to a Casino in New Orleans, I’ve been bitten by the poker bug once again.

I want to start playing poker again with proper bankroll management. I plan on uploading 500$. I am looking to play very tight limits given that bankroll (5$ buy in max for cash games or 2-3$. For tournaments).

What current US site is best for those limits?
Must be good withdrawals. Preferably bit-coin.

I currently have experience with both ACR and ignition (bovada). But eoundering which would actually be best given the above bankroll.

My goal is three fold.
1) Improve as a poker player
2) Make 10-15$ per day (its the small goals that count)
3) Be able to easily slide into different buy-in games as my BR expands as well as the ability to play in tournaments.

What is important to me:
1) Ability to make at least some money via playing strong poker. (see above goal).
2) Being able to easily find games at lower micro stakes.

From what I've seen and heard, Global Poker (they have a dedicated thread), has by far the softest NL games. But they don't take BTC. Ignition is prob next best bet.

ACR has decent traffic, but there is a lot of controversy surrounding their long-term negligence in the area of game security (bots, collusion, and more).

SwCpoker.eu and nitrogen are two BTC-only sites, but they don't have a ton of traffic. However, one advantage to playing on SwC is that they have the lowest rake of all these sites (which should have a large impact on a microstakes bankroll).

Excellent. You have a chance of surviving!

You have experience with the two biggest sites already then. You might consider adding the 3rd largest Network, Chico, consisting of BetOnline and Sportsbetting.ag to your mix for more game selection.

Danger! Danger!

Small goals count for sure. But those goals have to be attainable. Setting a daily profit goal is not one of those things. Poker is too volatile to control the outcome on a monthly basis without insane volume, much less on a daily basis with what I expect will be casualesque volume.

Trying to achieve your goal on the daily will result in you quitting early to lock in profits (and leave profitable games early). To grind long hours in ****ty games hoping to break even or make a couple buy-ins. ETC.

I suggest perhaps altering your goal such that you try to make that type of money, but maybe evaluate yourself on a monthly, or even better, quarterly basis.

America's Cardroom is the flagship on WPN. Black Chip and True Poker also accept players from your neck of the woods. All 3 are owned and operated directly by WPN.

It depends on what type of SNG you're wanting to play. I'm sure someone who is in the trenches daily will chime in and give more accurate data if you mention what stakes and game types you are wanting to play.

With Phil Galfond’s new poker site set to launch this summer, RunItOnce, does anyone know what states in the US will be able to play?

Thanks

So started on WPN , ACR and Sngs not even up for consideration such low traffic, whoever i think the sng 2.0 is interesting, but guess i ll keep focusing on Cash Games...but dam whats all this lagging about??

For cash games, what is the absolute best poker site, that allows Holdem Manager ? Because i ve been seeing a lot of things about ACR and this lagging does not convince me..

The lag is not typical of the site. The site has been under a prolonged DDoS attack. When it subsides, traffic will resume itself near previous levels. At least, that is what has always happened in the past.
